@jugar - there is a problem with our spreadsheet this week at line 16 for hope002. An error is showing. I am not sure how to fix it?

all fixed - there was a comma instead of a decimal point in the weight recorded, that's all. Fussy thing...

Good morning or whatever it is where you are!

I am in the midst of the weekly tallies, and just want to note:

I am NOT counting NWIs this week. You'll see that they are in small letters, and we won't hold those against anyone!
EXCEPTIONS - if this was someone's 3rd NWI, they are now on the drop list. Especially if they have not posted anything since the beginning of the month.

Let me know if anyone should be re-instated, and be sure to get in touch with people to tell them that week 5 will count! If they have another NWI then, well.... the consequences will be dire :grimace:

@jugar please remove "keepmelean" if you haven't done so...not one response or anything to IMs, posts, etc in two and a half weeks. Thanks, JK

@jugar - the one person on our drop list looks right (she never checked in). Sorry about the spreadsheet error with the comma! That is the last time that I enter a weight without my reading glasses on!!

    @cafelelia and @sleepymom5

Is cassie coming back onto the regular team for January or staying on support? It looks like she is doing better.

She is doing better, but she did not make any requests to move at this time. I think that keeping her on support is a good idea for now as she is making some changes (more support etc) and will wait to see how that goes.

@jugar - so I got it wrong! Cassie just posted and says she looks forward to moving off cheer squad and onto the regular team, so would appreciate it if you would updates the spreadsheet. She lost 7lbs this month on WW, so that is amazing!

    Hello all -

As you all know, a new group was formed by Greg, Sally, and their co-leaders of the Fitness Warriors, and they decided to leave F2F. They began their challenge for January as of today, and many of the Fitness Warriors moved to the new group. Only 6-7 remain, so we at first thought they would simply move onto our other teams for January. At the same time, we have very large numbers of new people joining F2F - you have all seen the new people joining your teams, and more are coming every day. This is good! But it means we need all six teams.

So this evening, we have created a new team - tentatively named The Downsizers. It was too confusing for new members to come into the Fitness Warriors and then have many of the members leaving. If they reviewed any of the December chat thread, we were not sure they would easily know who was on the team and who was not, and the leadership in January would be new in any case.

The Downsizers will need a few more experienced members, though. If any of your teams could spare an enthusiastic and motivating member for a while, it would be appreciated! Co-captain material would be even more wonderful (we're headhunting here!). Of course, I have asked the continuing members if they want to step up, but they have not had time to get back to me yet.

I'll be posting a version of this message on the team threads tomorrow (Monday), so fair warning! If anyone would like to help out, they are welcome. I'm sure the team will do well once up and running, but let's all do our best to support this new team during the transition. Thanks!

The new team is UP! and quite well filled with people already.

Please feel free to stop by and say hi.

On your own teams, with new members, please be sure to let them know some things we forget might be new -
    • PW and CW - some people do not know what those are.
    • Spreadsheets - they can view but the captains take care of entering info. Some think they need to do it themselves and are frustrated when it doesn't work...
    • Mention that we'll be putting in a habit tracking spreadsheet that anyone can sign up for - just a heads up for now, more info to follow.
    • I'll put the link to the January spreadsheets up on the home page on Friday. For now, I have sent you all the invite to share by email - just let me know if there are any problems. Thanks!

@jugar - Thank you so much for assembling the new spreadsheets! Just 2 corrections. cassiegetsfits2013 is moving to the main team from support, and txmama63 is a new team member that was missed. Not sure what her starting wait and weigh in day is, but will ask.
