Shorter walk today as very late. No photos today as visibility was down to under 50 meters.
Also saw an Osteo about my sore rib. Turns out it is likely strained instead of cracked. Been painful since Dec 24. Not much you can do for ribs anyway (as I knew).
Daughter has had a very up and down day from last night through today. Fortunately she see the psychologist tomorrow.

No scenic pictures today because it was overcast, but I had some cuddles with my big boy just after I finished chasing him around the enclosure to help him with the last of his shed. He doesn't like touching so this is how we cuddle.16 -

Busy day at work but still managed to get a walk in with my friend at lunch. Have been playing with the numbers ever since supper but the little ice cream etc on the way home don't leave me any wiggle room for more food. My watch says I burned over 1000 exercise calories today but I work on a standard limit regardless of exercise, assuming that all exercise and my active job is covered by the limit I have set. It worked for me before, so I'm trusting the process again and sticking with my limit not overeating tonight.12

@Dory_42. Great photo. Snakes are amazing.
One memory I have about snakes was from a lecture at the Natural History Museum in Raleigh NC (long way from Australia ). We got to handle a few snakes. Lovely supple feel to their skin.
Two thing of note I remember from the lecture was:- The difference between snakes and lizards is that snakes have no ear holes (some snakes have legs or leg stubs, some lizards do not).
- Snakes (and other reptiles) do not form attachments to people (we are always viewed as potential predators or environment, not mates or food).

My nearly 4 year old has decided she's a chef so yesterday she helped my husband chop loads of vegetables. It made meal prep done and ready for the day which was great for me!12 -

I joined a paid challenge today with DH. It gives a money prize to the top 3 losers. Hopefully that keeps me motivated for the entire month. DH is heavier than he has ever been so hopefully this is good for him.10 -

Exercise: Yes, had PT this morning for my hip, so about 45 minutes including goblet squats, step-ups and other various exercises plus the stationary bike as a warm-up
Calories: Yes, didn't burn a lot of extra calories at PT but still came in 200 under budget
Tracked: Yes, tracked it all and input a couple of new vegetarian recipes to make sure I have it right. Trying to convince hubby we need to go vegetarian at least a couple of nights a week

Goals/Day/Comments: 32 minutes HIIT strength. 9 holes golfing - pulling clubs. So nice to be in warmer weather. I’m getting too old for New England winters. My scale showed a big loss this morning. I checked it with my hand weights. It’s accurate. I did the same with the scale up north. It just dawned on me what the culprit could be. My CRP is higher up north. I’m assuming I have more inflammation up there and therefore retain fluids.8 -
