Binge free for 7 days
Yesterday was fine, the day before was challenging. I ate a protein bar and it almost led to a binge. I curled up on the couch under blankets and watched TV instead. Every single one of my other binges recently has been triggered by eating a processed baked good. I suppose there's a reason why I call it the cookie monster.
I need to find other distraction techniques on the weekends because I'm not that big on TV. Walking has been a good one but I can't walk all the time. I will try reading a book next time.1 -

I came up with some alternatives as part of the self-help plan I'm doing the other day, mine were:
Work - Walk a package upstairs
Work - Bathroom squats/Wall pushups
Home - Watch a foreign language netflix series (original language with English subtitles)
Home - Go for a walk
Home - Use the exercise bike
Home - Do some cleaning/de-cluttering
Home - Call family to catch up

Thanks for the ideas! I'll have to try some of them.1 -
