74.07 so far...a mile under the halfway mark, so I'm on target.

You know it’s cold when the dog comes back carrying snowballs on her chest. 😂3 -
@sufferlandrian She's gorgeous - even before she thaws out
1 mile.

I've been very fortunate to have never injured myself in a race before. This race I've managed to get a blister on the top of my toe. Not debilitating or an emergency but I'm hesitating to lace up my running shoes for a few more days, even though the rest of me says a shake out run would be fine. I went for a bike ride yesterday which puts me at 88/75.1

@sufferlandrian - beautiful dogs and beautiful woods. She doesn't seem to mind the cold!0
-
@janet - Ouch! I’ve done that once and it really hurts. You have my sympathy on the blister.
And yes. They really hate running in the cold. They are barking and whining and jumping all over when they see me grab my biking coat. Wait. That was excitement not protest. 😂0 -

@KAR328 - That was a good idea bringing your Kindle to the DMV. I just went and applied for mine here in Minnesota and was there about 45 minutes. Most of that was just waiting in line to be helped.
@JANET - Bummer about the blister, but yeah you're right, in the grand scheme of things, that's blessedly minor. Take a couple of days to let it heal or put some bacitracin on it and bandage it up really well and you should be good if you just cant wait to run.
@DEAN - Always love your pics!
We're getting about a foot of snow today, but it looks pretty outside right now. Makes the motorcycle riding season look further away, but that's okay. I don't mind looking at snow for a while. I get my winter motorcycle fix working part-time at my local Harley dealership. I get to hear one fired up just about every time I'm there with customers coming in and looking.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Dave

I agree with Dean. Its COLD here in Montana! We've been about 20 below zero all week. Been shoveling but we don't have as much as they do in the mountain area. I'm OVER winter! The dog and the two cats are only outside long enough to get their duty done and are back in the house.
4 miles from walking & 10 from the ex bike.

You guys are probably tired of pictures of my dogs and bikes but I never get tired of how beautiful it is around here. Tough biking today with three inches of new snow but the sun was warm(Er) and the dogs were hilarious! It was a good trade off.3
-
Dean, I never get tired of your pictures. Beautiful country...beautiful dogs.
