@JANET - Congrats on completing the first two legs of the Challenge!! Sending thoughts and prayers of strength and mild temps for you tomorrow! :+1: Don't worry about the spreadsheet this weekend....I'll take care of it, You just focus on your races the rest of the weekend.

@!LAMLAM - So happy to hear your stress at work has been taken care of!

    Dave

Thanks, Dave! After the half marathon this morning I came back to my hotel and slept until 2. I think I'm getting too old for this!

I was reading in Runner's World magazine something that inspired me. There was an article saying when you can't achieve a PB focus on achieving a PV - a personal victory. If I finish the marathon tomorrow in the heat it will definitely be a personal victory. So that is my focus. Have a great weekend everyone.

I am so happy for her. Give her my best. It will not be a good day for running but she will still have a PB. Tell her to look for me at the end of the parade LOL.

3.7 miles. It was windy and kind of warm, like it was about to blow open, but it didn't. I love being in the wind.

Been busy ALL week & I have some back reading to do!! Ended the week with 50 miles! These miles are from moving my feet & pedaling on the ex bike! My back has been giving me problems & am going to have to go get an MRI. Been doing chiropractic & massage but it just about does me in some days!

Personal Victory! I managed to move my **kitten** over the finish line to complete another one. Actually I only ran 25 miles because it was so hot they cut the course short. But I kept my streak alive and finished without hurting myself, which was my only goal. There were so many injured runners. More trips and falls than I remember - hard to concentrate when it's so hot! - but also heat stroke. I'm at 82/75 which is goal for me!

She did finish the race uninjured.... she did tell me they had to cut it short because of the heat.
I tracked her the entire race... she loved it .... congratulations on your PV...😊
