@Chris: I am sorry to hear about hip surgery. It seems like things just snowball. I sure hope this surgery finds you back on track to working out and enjoying things again. I am keeping good thoughts for you.
@kar: Congrats on the new job. At least you were able to get out. Stress and aggravation is not for ones health. Hope this new one brings you much more satisfaction.

Yep. Got bone on bone and it hurts like the dickens. I actually have another word for it, but we can't use it on MFP. I had back surgery in June for a pinched nerve then this showed up. I've been sidelined well over a year, and it's killing me. Hopefully, I'll be able to start walking again by summer.
Chris
That sounds ..... uncomfortable @Chris . I can imagine other ‘kitten’ type words that might be used to describe it. I hope this helps and brings this last eventful year to a positive end.

My C25k group are lovely and I’m really enjoying working with them0 -
@k80flec Thanks. I'll admit I'm really enjoying this week of unemployment, but keeping my fingers crossed that the new job won't suck as much as the old one. All this extra time means I overdid the exercise the last two days and am really sore today. Usually run on the treadmill but decided to walk laps on the track and stretch instead. 1 mile

@k80flec: I am glad you have a really nice group of trainees for you C25k group. It makes things so much more enjoyable. But, I bet it would be hard not to enjoy working with you. I am sure you are a lot of fun, uplifting and positive.
@kar: I hope that all works well at this place. I loved teaching Physical Education and Health to elementary kids. I just hated being forced to teach technology all the time with it so my boss could feel good about his doctorate in that field. Everything has its place for things but it was never enough using pedometers and logging them in or some food program that was computerized...it was go bigger or go home...so I went...,home for good...lol
Jan. 27-28: 6 miles of walking

Did 6 on the ex bike & 2 miles on foot to put me past my goal!
@Chris, my husband NEEDS his knees replaced but was told he has to get his thyroid to a good number which has been really tough. Its been 11 months of trying to get it to their optimal number! I hope you both get relief!!!
The influenza has hit our little school HARD! Last Friday we had 20% of students gone along with a few staff. Monday & Tuesday school was called off due to staff & students sick & we couldn't get subs for teachers. Held school today but the school nurse sent 5 staff & some students home due to having fevers. So the after completing today they decided NO school until Monday in hopes that things may run there course by then! Where my grandchildren go the school along with health centers, homes, day cares, numerous offices etc closed due to the Norovirus. 200 cases reported in that area. All I can say is "People STAY HOME & WASH your hands OFTEN"!! We were bleaching EVERYTHING today! We have horrible flues & NOW its the Coronavirus!! With ALL the sicknesses & world disasters God's word is showing TRUE!!
