No swimming for me for the next week as I had a hole cut in my left forearm for a biopsy on a spot….also 3 places on my face….they all are uncomfortable….I have to start using sun screen….I guess I will have to visit Richard Simmons for exercise this week….

Oh Connie I sympathise! My husband has had so many lumps cut from his face, head and arms that he looks like patchwork! He has to wear factor 50 sunscreen 365 days a year (and factor 100 on his nose and ears). It's a challenge in the temperate English climate, let alone in the blistering heat of Florida!

I am 70 and these are my first ones so I guess I am lucky!…especially not using sun screen and living in Florida!…I do usually wear a hat with a brim over my face….my husband is like yours!…

Biopsies, 😰. One would imagine that modern medicine would have figured out something less invasive and painful. Have had a couple myself and didn’t enjoy it at all. I’m still bad about the sunscreen.

    Hope all is good, Connie.

I hate sunscreen too... But if after having a bunch of precancerous bumps burnt off my face a couple years ago I put it on every day. It tastes so terrible :s

Back to my neighborhood walks after a two month break. I especially enjoy passing this life sized longhorn cow chrome sculpture. The artist is Benini who lives in the Texas hill country. The owners added a pandemic mask. p0btfupka8ye.jpeg

Did the gym this morning. Then I tackled washing all the floors - mostly tile throughout the house. Now I’m tired and need a 😴.

Bella’s cycling is impressive. Floor washing not so much. But it does use up some calories. 👍

The cycling went surprisingly well! I limited myself to the 40 minute training session and then just 7 extra minutes to take me past the 20km point - I took it easy, and had no back pain during or afterwards. Yay, result!

For the past week I've been diligently doing targeted lower back stretches (I even bought a yoga mat!) and they seem to be helping. I had a much better night's sleep last night, and today my back feels much less stiff and sore. I'll stay off the bike tomorrow, then do my second training session on Sunday. It means I won't hit my 50km target this week, but c'est la vie.

The NEAT calorie burn from housework and other daily activities is nothing to be sneezed at! That's how I burn most of my calories...

Heavy rain this morning so no outside walking. Did over an hour in the gym yesterday mostly weights and some treadmill. No aches this morning! So today is a rest day with some house cleaning and laundry.

The temperature has really dropped here the past two mornings...If I can get over my extreme case of chill avoidance this morning, it will be a great walking day!

I have realized I will do a lot for a t shirt. Hell Week at Orangetheory starts Sunday. You have to complete 5 classes to get the damn T-shirt. I’m all signed up for my 5 classes!
