Happy Sunday, everyone! The tallies are in and we are NUMBER ONE! We had a great week 3. Even better than the amount that we lost is the fact that 76% of us lost some weight this week. Even if the amounts were small, 76% is pretty impressive! 4 people have been in the green for all 3 weeks this month:
@evelynladams527
@eggfreak
@bunnybuns1111
@Micki48
You can go for four!! And everyone else can certainly aim for one more this week
The first weigh-ins for Week 4 are due today:
@YinxFed
@Andreabroadley (if you're back near a scale again!)
@deniners2
@graceojo999
We have also been the team with the best retention this month. Almost everyone who started March is finishing it. And we welcome back @matthewsfive and hope to see the return of @fourathomej for April.
So keep up the connections - they are working.
@KellyBgetsfit - don't worry the steps. You are doing super hard and important work with your kids. Maybe you can fit in some steps in place or some other exercises that are easy to do without any space or equipment while the kids work on their stuff. There's a great site with all kinds of cardio stuff that you can do while watching kiddos -- https://darebee.com/programs/cardio-go.html
Keep well today and every day6 -
Keep up the good work!!!1

@micki48 here are my steps for the rest of my week in confinement... its hard to get to my goal while not leaving the house as much. Thankful for runs in the afternoon and multiple little walks throughout the day.
Its keeping me sane or at least in a better space...

Hi everyone!!!
I hope I got everyone's step reports. I fell down on the job a bit. Here's what I need for this past week...(week 3)
@Gidgitgoescrazy Thurs-Sat
@Shexio Thurs-Sat
@KellyBgetsfit Tues 16th
@evangsimmons170 All week
@lovethyneighbor Saturday
Get those steps in as soon as you can and I promise I'll do a report this week.
Last last week, Week 2, we had a lot of missing steps, but still managed to walk 317,439 steps together. And boy, was it a crazy week.
1st micki48 77,814
2nd @Gidgitgoescrazy 48,653
3rd @Steph1498 46,766 with Friday and Saturday missing and STILL!!!
Congratulations to everyone. It's hard with everything else on our plates/minds. Try to take some steps for yourself.2 -
Yep I am back @jugar!
I now weigh... as of today, Sunday:
153.9 pounds.. essentially the same as when I last weighed in.
I am going to shoot for maintenance for the next few weeks. Pretty stressed with the covid-19 stuff. The lodge next door to us in Revelstoke had 3 Americans in it that are now reported to have covid-19. We have no reason to believe that we came in contact with them though.
We are essentially following what you are doing in shelter in place zone. No going out unless necessary. Really hope that Canada can get this under control, although Toronto has community spread.
Wishing all of you the best.

There was potential for that to be sooo much worse! I always start strong visiting family then it turns into a snacking gluttonfest for me. I've been snacking every night since returning home. I need to be disciplined as I was in January & February.
I've had some stellar runs this month, & I am getting a little faster. This morning was an awesome 6.67 miles.4 -

snacking gluttonfest. I like that one - but hope you can make it stop!! Pickles. Grapefruit. Eat something sour sometimes and the desire for something truly destructive fades out. And if you eat a whole jar of pickles, not too much harm is done! Your running is impressive, though - well done!2 -

My husband hates pickles, but I would do that otherwise. 😊1 -
Last call for the last Sunday weigh-in!
@graceojo999
I hope everything is going OK - don't worry if your weigh-in is late. We're just looking forward to hearing from you3 -

@micki48 I really thought I had posted last week's steps but I couldn't find the post. I'm so sorry for the delay.
Here is for the week of March 15-21:

Has anyone tried the new "premium" version of Fitbit? They have some way cool challenges on there, like Get Fit Bingo. You have to work HARD to get a tile to turn. I just signed up for their 90-day free trial period, and I'm loving it! (I've had a Fitbit watch for the past 3 or 4 years now.) You have to have a Fitbit or smartwatch or a mobile watch to participate. We could have up to 30 people on a challenge!
OK gotta go get a workout in. I'm determined to turn a tile by tomorrow night! I gotta beat @micki48! LOL4 -
Happy Sunday, everyone!
This past week was a hellova long year, wasn’t it? Lots of changes in working status, quasi-quarantine and trying to keep calm to boot. So far, so good. We, too, have community spread. We won’t know the full extent until we start testing people after the fact to see who has titers in their blood for C-19 immunity.
Well, it’s time to turn in. I hope you all stay calm and healthy. We’ll shift things by being attentive.
Hugs all around,

It's Sunday night and overall it was a good day. Doing much better on the snacks and keeping busy. Tomorrow I'm working from home and also running my own one room school house. Hmmm
Got my deck set up today and soaked up some sun. Feeling more settled with the new routine. Hope everyone had a nice weekend!6 -

Thanks a lot..my weight stayed the same at 182.9
Stressful week and lots of eating2 -
Today is my one year weight loss-iversary.
365 days ago I downloaded this app, and I was 79.8 lbs heavier (which I will be rounding to 80 because my starting weight was a guess anyway.)
That's a solid 1.5 lbs per week.
It's slow but it works.9 -

You are a champion! 1.5 per week on average is excellent, in my books. We love the tortoise! Pronounce it "tor-twahze" and wear a tiara today!3 -
YIKES! I'm late with the MONDAY heads-up notice!
Due today:
@KellyBgetsFit
@reflectionofme
@Juliemargaretkim
We have not seen @reflectionofme and @juliemargaretkim for a while! I hope you're both ok. Let me know if you want to take a break, or if you're moving on, or coming back, ok?0 -

Woot woot @Terytha !!! That's wonderful. You have definitely inspired me!3 -
@Terytha Congrats on your one year anniversary and your inspirational progress! You have done it the right way and have had awesome results! Can't wait to see what next year holds for you!
@Gidgitgoescrazy Nice loss! You are on fire lately 🔥4 -

@evangsimmons170 Thanks for the steps. LOL I want you to try and beat me!! Thank you so much for inviting me over and over to the challenges. It has been a great motivator and fun to watch the progress of everyone on the team over the week or weekend. You are right!! It takes a LOT of work to get those tiles in BINGO flipped. We need to see if we can get some other teammates here to join us. Still trying to find you @YinxFed. Anyone else here use FitBit? Join us on a challenge. It's so easy. You don't even have to post your steps. It syncs all by itself.
Have a wonderfully active day everyone! Hugs and positive vibes being sent.1 -
@micki48 Could you update the steps with these dates/steps? Somehow I didn’t get these posted 🤷🏼♀️ my half marathon training running is paying off. Sadly I Think the race in May might get cancelled. I sure hope not. I’m getting ready anyways.
3/13: 15,459
3/14: 14,793
Done!! Thanks for the update. Those are great numbers. You would have had 2nd place. Hugs and keep those steps up, marathon or no marathon. Actually, come to think of it, we are all kind of doing a marathon now, aren't we? Stronger by the day.2 -
@Terytha CONGRATULATIONS ON ONE YEAR!!!! You have made amazing progress and have been so inspiring to us all. I, for one, do not think 1.5 pounds a week is slow!!!! I think it's amazing!!!!!!! You have not only lost (ahem, gotten rid of...you won't be finding it again) 80 pounds, I have seen your mindset change. You were resistant to healthier eating and gym exercise and loved your sweet treats. Now, I have seen you make fantastically healthy meals, your commitment to your gym workouts and trials and tribulations with your trainer have been inspiring, and you have limited your sweet treat calories each day. Girlfriend, you are inspiring and amazing to us all. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Keep it up. Like @conleywoods said, Can't wait to see what the next year has in store for you.2
