HOW IT ALL WORKS:
Every challenger weighs in on their chosen day, and at the end of each week, the tallies are done to determine the team and individuals with the most weight lost. The best losers are announced with full fanfare every Sunday. The team competition is all in good spirits - may the most losing win!
If you need a week off, a break, a change of weigh-in day - just ask your Captain here on your team chat page. If you miss two weigh-ins in a row without asking for a break, you will be dropped from the team, so be sure to ask if you are travelling, sick, or just needing some time off.
In addition to your own team, there are F2F Full Group CHALLENGES. You can do all or none - it's up to you. Participating adds a lot to your success, so we hope to see you there often! These can involve anything fitness, health, or nutrition - and they’ll get you moving, thinking, and learning about this journey. Check the “Announcements” section for full group challenges.
Let’s show our fellow challengers some F2F love!! Introduce yourselves right away, and let the new month begin.
THANKS!

I am Beka, one of your Team Captains and Group Moderator. My counterpart and bestie is Julie, aka @boehle.
I am 43, married, mom of 2 daughters, Mimi of one amazing grandson, and human mom to 3 fur babies.
I live in the beautiful mountains of Northern Georgia. I have no concept of really cold weather or driving in snow...
I started my journey 2 years ago at 242 lbs, lost down to 174 and maintained almost 9 months before gaining back to 232 in July. I am a human yo yo. Have even considered getting a "DUNCAN" tattoo.. JK - but really... I have not weighted in the entire month of February as I have been out of town for the birth of my grandson. I will be returning home this weekend and will restart... again.
My Stats:
5'7' and 43
226 ish last I checked.... I will do an official march weigh in when I return home Sunday.
March Goals:
- stop eating like a college student away from home for the first time.
- lose something...
- focus on consistency of steps - minimum 6k a day.
If you have not already, feel free to friend me. Please make your diaries open. Your teammates (umm - or me) might want to borrow your ideas that keep you in check.2 -
Heelo All,
I am Bob, your ironically named Fitness Captain, who has had manfluenza for the last week. Just hanging onto 49 years old, I was over 19 stone (122kg) when I started here in May last year, started C25K in July, ran my first ever half marathon in November and going for my first Marathon in April. My SO is the most important person in my life along with two wonderful offspring who are still at Uni.

Hi All, I'm Kate, KilobyKilo, a Brit living in Central Portugal. I've had a rubbish start to 2020 in terms of weight and fitness goals, but, I feel ready now to make March my month...
I'm going to log EVERY SINGLE DAY, I'm going to up my exercise, get my running training consistent (under 2 months to the next race), and I'm going to be more active on here...
I'm also hoping all of that will see my recent big gain melt away by next weigh in and then finally get back into those 170s...... Let's see!
I really enjoyed the Feb mods challenge and am looking forward to the photos this month.
Today, day one of the month, is all about food prep here... let's do this!2 -

March Steps
1st March 17507
A crazy day while I ate a lot and moved a lot. Made it crazier by lifting at late night when it was almost closing time in the gym. Good to feel I didn't miss my stronglift session!2 -
HAPPY MARCH FIRST!!!
I am back home from my almost month of travel. My grandson is the most amazing tiny person I have ever met. I cannot wait to visit him again - likely the end of March.
Here is how my month long hiatus played out:
THE GOOD:
My daughter welcomed baby Blake into this world and I had the privilege to be there for the whole thing. He is an amazing boy! Can you tell I'm a proud Mimi???
THE BAD:
I did not log the entire month. Also, I don't recall the last glass or bottle of plain water I drank. While at my daughters, anything she wanted I would make or make happen. Since I did not want her to eat alone - I ate it, too. There were several meals on the go and this has officially caught up.
THE UGLY:
I am up 8 pounds!!!! Ironically, about the same amount as my newborn grandson
THE FIX:
Today, I am unpacking my luggage then taking inventory of the food in my home. Hubby has agreed to go to the grocery with me and assist in prepping.
MARCH GOALS:
Track EVERY SINGLE BITE!
Lose the 8 I packed on
Am I upset about this? Not at all! This is one of the curve balls life will throw. What is most important is how I handle the recovery.

I goofed! So sorry --
for Third Place February Pounds Lost - it should have been @Emmajhare with 9.5 pounds tossed to the curb. @timibotkin was also amazing, but I somehow overlooked the quiet little 9.5 sitting there on the spreadsheet. Sorry!0 -
Hi everyone! New to F2F and this team. Current weight is 234. Unfortunately, I was put on steroids for a random outbreak of hives this past week and steroids make you HUNGRY. I gained 3 pounds!!! It's the first time I have gained anything since I started eating healthier in December and I do not like it. Will be working hard to get those 3 pounds off ASAP. If I missed anything or put this in the wrong place, let me know. Nice to virtually meet you!6
-
Kmargut (currently weigh in on Thur)
Can I switch my weigh in day to sat please go forward?
Also I will be tracking my steps in March!!2 -
Hi everyone! This is the second year of me being in this challenge. When I began in February 2019 I was class 3 obese, weighed 119.5kg (263.5 lbs), had insulin resistance, a sluggish thyroid, and was an epic snorer. You may have noticed: all in the past tense. In January 2020 I reached my healthy goal weight, my health issues have all reversed over the past year, and now I am trying to maintain my weight around 65kg (143 lbs).
For this reason I am not technically "in" the challenge anymore, but am staying in the group to keep myself accountable and on track - and cheer you all on in your journeys.
I'm Australian, and mum to a teenager.
My stats:
169cm / 5'7'
41 years
Highest Weight: 119.5kg/263.5lbs (27th January 2019)
Maintenance Weight: 65 kg/143 lbs +- 1.5kgs /3 lbs (6th January 2020)
Maintenance duration: 8 weeks.
March health goals:- Continue maintaining weight, healthy eating, sleep and exercise.
- Learn to do push-ups with proper form.
- Improve flexibility so can comfortably touch toes with straight(ish) legs
7 -
Luciicul
Week 1, Monday
PW: 148.6 lbs
CW: 146 lbs
(Trying to maintain around 65kg /143.5 lbs, +- 1.5kg / 3.3 lbs)1 -
@Luciicul I just love reading your success story every time you post it
@RGILLESP1 welcome to the challenge! Sorry to hear about the meds, but hope we can help support you to have a positive month
@suzyjmcd2 Ouch to the dental procedure, hope you're feeling okay now!
@Beka3695 Yum! I also meal prepped yesterday, but nothing as good looking as that.
I've finally got onto the habit tracker, using my PC, and have made my pledges for March..... this will be a good month!
How is everyone else feeling about March? Anything exciting planned?3 -
Ok back on track, still fighting a sinus infection for 2 weeks. Last week I did really well but I am not back to my lowest weight yet, hoping this week to post Saturday a good drop. Going to make positive and many changes in March for my lifestyle. Need to be 100% committed.2
-
I am Julie, one of your Team Captains.
I am 38, mother to the most amazing 18 year old that likes to test my patience and I have 1 fur baby who will be 5 this year.
I live in Ohio... where we have all the seasons in one week.
I started my journey many moons ago. I was 237, and back in 2015, I got down to 132. As of this morning, I am 175 and I legit almost cried. February consisted of lots of food and drinks (my birthday was 2/19 and my sons birthday was yesterday). I am 5'2. So in order to be "healthy" in society's eyes, I should be between 109-132. Id be happy in the mid 140s.
March Goals:
- Log all food before it enters my mouth
- Double my miles between January and February (January was 136.22 and February was 107.9) Along with Beka, we are doing a run the year... so I am way off from being on schedule for 2020 miles.2 -

Monday Weigh-In
PW: 230.5
CW: 229.5
Still slogging along. I am usually retired and at home, but my volunteer job at the church library is in moving mode, so I am working 4 days per week for at least another month.2 -
@TheMrWobbly - WOW just looked and the spreadsheet for February. You are absolutely killing it! Congratulations.0
-
I got a little weight loss help. As a reward for losing 50 lbs, I got Invisalign. I always hated that my teeth were crooked so I thought that would be a good reward. Well don't you know, they come with a side benefit! You have to have them on 22 hours a day. Only clear water to drink while you have them in. It is a process taking them out, cleaning them, flossing, brushing and then putting them back in. No temptation to snack at all. Too darn much work. I have them off about 40 minutes 3 times a day. What a win win! This is the beginning photo from 2/18. I had lost almost 55 lbs when I took this photo.
Dang I have a big nose lol
6 -
@CharlesScott78 - Congrats on the Invisalign! I will be following your progress here, bc this is something I've considered myself.
I like the beard look on you. Lastly, everyone thinks their nose looks big in a selfie. It looks perfectly normal to me1
