What's on your mind today?

Hello everyone.
I am sure everyone will be glad to hear this is the last day of my gratitude lists. I usually keep all of these in my head. Near the end of March I was feeling a little out of sorts and decided I should type these out as a hard copy reminder that no matter how bad I think things may be there is always something good.
At this very moment I am grateful for the following.- Awakening to a new day.
- Being employed by one of the better companies in the area and having a caring boss.
- Checking my bank account today and seeing my bonus was paid. It gives me a little bit of a cushion which was very much needed.
- My physical and mental health. It was something I took for granted when I was much younger and something I am grateful for each and every day.
- The peace and serenity of the morning.
I will say there were some days where I forced myself to pull it together and get these typed out. I did find once I got these daily posts done I felt much better and was able to put a positive spin on the day. I am not saying every day was perfect, but I think they were better because I forced myself to lean in towards the positive.
Big hugs to those who have hung in with me. I am officially passing the torch to @Chinkiri!2 -
@SuziQ113, you are such an early-bird that, despite being in the same time zone, your gratitude list was always there when I first sign on (before the commute up the stairs) and get my pre-logging done.
It was always an inspiring start to my day to see your list - and the pragmatic little "rays of sunshine" that made the list along side the "big ones" of job, health, physical home.
Like the morning coffee, the ice-maker, your vacuum cleaner deal (SCORE!!) etc etc. Those little ones can make all the difference. If I can say "with all this happening around me ... at least I can enjoy / be grateful for [this small scale thing] - it can help prime the pump and lead to recognizing that you have more positives than you thought, if you would only look for them.

On that note - despite the rainy day .... I am grateful that there were fresh blueberries and raspberries to be had at the grocery store yesterday. I stirred some blueberries into my morning yoghurt, and the sight / taste as I savoured them reminded me that it is Spring out there SOMEwhere!2 -

Here you go. RangerRickL puts the link for the next month at the top of the pages for the last month, if that makes sense
