HOW IT ALL WORKS:
Every challenger weighs in on their chosen day, every week without fail! At the end of each week, the tallies are done to determine the team and individuals with the most weight lost. The best losers are announced with full fanfare every Sunday. The team competition is all in good spirits - may the most losing win!
We also track those small, steady losses with the Green Week count. If you lose, however small an amount, it counts for 1 week in the green. The total will be by month, and cumulative - so you can really rack them up and get to your goal even if you never hit the top of the leader board.
If you need a week off, a break, a change of weigh-in day - just ask your Captain here on your team chat page. If you miss two weigh-ins in a row without asking for a break, you will be dropped from the team, so be sure to ask if you are travelling, sick, or just needing some time off.
In addition to your own team, there are F2F Full Group CHALLENGES. You can do all or none - it's up to you. Participating adds a lot to your success, so we hope to see you there often! These can involve anything fitness, health, or nutrition - and they’ll get you moving, thinking, and learning about this journey. Check the Announcements section for full group challenges.
Let’s show our fellow challengers some F2F love! Introduce yourselves right away, and let the new month begin!!

Welcome to the May Team Weight No More!
I am Lisa, co-captain with the Pam, @sleepymom5. I live in Toronto, Canada with my husband of almost 20 years and our two boys ages 13 and 9. We have been quarantine for around 6 weeks, and I have to say, April was a tough month. But we now have the hang of online schooling, working via zoom calls and carving out work space for everyone in the house. I am a lawyer and run a part-time practice from home, after many years in the corporate world. I am also a distance runner, and just prior to quarantine, I was getting back to some longer runs after a year long injury. Our boys play competitive hockey and we continue to keep them active during this unexpected break from spring hockey.
As you can see from the large graphic, May is a time for me (and many of us) to reset and refocus. My May goals go back to basics: make a food plan daily, eat according to my hunger scale, drink 2l of water daily, exercise 4-5 times per week, and restart weight loss targeting a 3 or 4 lbs loss this month.
Welcome back everyone and please give a warm welcome to our new members! Welcome @kenzierenzieroo and welcome back @lenka1 and @twyla77!!
So please hop on everyone, post an introduction and tell us about your May goals!
Some helpful info/reminders:
Posting Your Daily Updates (or more frequently)
We ask that you please try to check in daily or more if you please. If you don’t post daily, that’s ok, but just remember that the daily conversations that we have are a great opportunity for support through your journey. Please also post whenever you want, such as when you have a question, want to share information or tips, or if you need some extra support at a challenging moment or time.
For daily updates, you can use whatever format (or not) that you like. Many of us here check in with the following format:
Check in for: Thursday
Logged food: yes, on track
Water: 64 oz
Steps or exercise: 10000 and 30 minutes of yoga
Posting Your Weekly Weigh In
Please be sure to provide your weigh in as soon as you can on weigh in day. If something comes up and you cannot weigh in on your weigh day, please post here or message to advise me or @sleepymom5. We get you excused in advance, otherwise two missed weight ins on the spreadsheet mean that you will be bumped to the drop list (and eventually off the team). After you post, you will soon see the “insightful” reaction marked on your weigh in post. This means that either me or @sleepymom5 has recorded your weight on the spreadsheet. It is our system to make sure the other captain knows that the weight is recorded.
Here is how we ask that you weigh in weigh in on weigh in day:
User ID: *
Week Number: Week *
Previous weight: *
Current weight: *
Weekly Team Step Challenge
Post and let us know if you want to be in the weekly step challenge. We track Sunday to Saturday. You can post your steps daily, or cumulatively. Please try to post by the following Sunday by noon so that we can announce the winners.
F2F Weekly Weight Loss Challenge
Every Sunday, individual and team winners are announced on all team threads. We have kept up the Go Green Challenge, so we also announce how teams are doing over by % green (weight lost) on their spreadsheets. We have also introduced a new feature where we track and announce individuals who have consistently stayed green (lost or maintained).
F2F Optional Fun Challenges
The group also has optional monthly or mini challenges for all F2F members. These challenges are a lot of fun and a great way to get to know members on other teams. Look for them under the announcements.
Habit Tracker
The optional habit tracker is still going in the group thread for those of you who wish to use it. On this tracker, you are able to track certain habits daily. If you wish to use the spreadsheet, unlike the weigh ins, you will enter your own information on the habit tracker spreadsheet daily. Just go to the tab for Team Weight No More, enter your name & habits, then start tracking! The thread is also posted under the announcements.
Looking forward to being a “loser” with all of you! Together, let’s make May a great month!5 -
Good Morning!
My name is Twyla, and I'm a returning member to Team Weight No More after taking a few months off. I'm ready and excited to be back. My weigh-in day will be Sunday.
I live in Calgary, Canada with my pet rabbit Luke and I work at a Marketing & PR agency. I have been temporarily laid off since around mid-March, so I've just been staying in and trying to keep myself entertained with books and puzzles and of course Netflix. I have learned to cook a few new dishes and managed to successfully make bagels, so I'm pretty proud of that as I've never been too good in the kitchen lol.
I am looking forward to getting back into the habit of tracking my food and doing my daily check-ins and weekly weigh-ins, as it really helps to keep me on track. I'm about 10 lbs about from my goal, which is where I always seem to be - I'll get close and maintain for a few weeks, then I just let it all go and creep back up.
My weakness is snacking at night which I've been working on. When I'm at the office, I fall into the trap of just sitting at my desk for 9 hours, skipping lunch, then getting home in the evening and eating everything I see.
My #1 goal for May is to get out of the 137 lb - 135 lb zone, and maintain somewhere below 135 while I work towards my main goal of 125 lbs. I know I need to make some changes in order to get over this hump, so I'm going to focus on daily exercise (walking, using my weights and resistance bands at home) as well as eating more fresh, healthy food!
I have signed up for a weekly produce delivery which I'm excited about!
Can't wait to catch up with the team and get to know the new members - looking forward to a great May with everyone, and hope everyone is staying healthy and safe wherever you all are!

Hi Everyone! My name is Pam. I am one of the team's co captain along with the awesome @Cafelelia. If you don't know her already, you will love her! I can't thank her enough for getting me through the last 2 month. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I have been married almost 30 years and have 5 children 28-20. I am a nurse but retired at the moment. I am still trying to decide what I want to do career wise.
My story in a nutshell...I was never overweight, although I always thought I was fat growing up. I gained A TON of weight with my pregnancies and ended up at 221 lbs. Unfortunately that ended up being my heaviest even when I wasn't pregnant . At the end June of 2012 I decided I either had to get serious and lose weight or accept that I am obese and live my life. I got a fitbit and joined MFP on July 1, 2012. Since then, I have gained and lost 30 or more pounds a few times. I have never gotten back to that starting weight but have gotten close. Although I haven't been as successful with my weight loss as I would like, I have learned a lot. I eat so much healthier than I used to. I also am in good physical shape, I love to hike, walk, kayak and bike. Actually anything outdoors I usually enjoy. I do have a home gym which has a bike, treadmill, elliptical, weights and a few other things. I want to enjoy exercising and not have it be a chore. I am always looking for fun, new workouts. I had some hip and knee issues for the past year but I am happy those are much better. I continue to do my PT exercises and stretch so they don't return.
As most of you know, the end of March and April was a struggle for me. My husband was on a ventilator in the ICU for 13 days. He was in the hospital a total of 19 days and then rehabbing at home. He is doing great now! He still has a ways to go as far as strength and endurance. This was a stressful and scary time and unfortunately I coped with eating. I was surrounded by food as this is how many people liked to help and I caved. Now that he is better and his care isn't as time consuming as it was, it is time for me to get back on track.
This team is more than just weighing in weekly. Checking in daily really helps keep me focused. I also learn a lot from everyone and also get support when I really need it. I am ready to put March/April behind me and move forward with Team Weight No More! I am happy to see our returning members joining us again. Welcome @kenzierenzieroo and welcome back @lenka1 and @twyla77!! Let's have an awesome month, quarantined or not!

Daily Check In: Saturday May 2
Logged food: Yes, on track!
Water: Not enough, but close.
Steps: 13,106
Activity: Did a YouTube Kettlebell workout and a bedtime stretch routine.
I’ve started doing a bedtime stretch challenge last month and I now look forward to the stretches so much that I’m continuing the challenge for May, too!

Hi again!
My name is Lenka and I am super excited to return to weight no more this month.
English is not my first language - so I may not have perfect grammar. (Just an FYI)
I am from Europe but living in SE Pennsylvania currently.
I was part of WNM from dec 2018- aug 2019.
I went from 165 to as low as 130ish I believe and then I got pregnant:) Being part of the team and having to weigh and post my weight weekly really helped me mentally to stay focused and keep myself accountable.
My second princess was born just a month ago on April 2nd and now I’m ready to get back where I stopped.
I started pregnancy at 137 and ended up going to 187. Yikes! Both of my babies had issues with placenta so I was high risk. They were measuring behind so of course I didn’t watch what I ate i just took it as a ticket to eat whatever I wanted to help them grow.(even though it didn’t help)
I stopped excersicing during my second month of pregnancy due to terrible nausea and then I tried to get back to it here and there on the days of felt better but it just didn’t work out the way I wanted.
Well I’m now in the range of 170-172.
So I have about 35-40 pounds to lose.
I’m hoping to be slowly dropping those pounds and be done or close to being done by the end of 2020.
However I know it may be harder (longer journey) this time. I’m breastfeeding and I plan to for about a year and from previous experience I remember - weight was not really going down up until I weaned my first baby off.
But we shall see.
I am not focused on numbers on scale rather than consistency.
I want to eat decent and work out (lift weights) 3-4x a week and do some light quick jogging couple times a week
May goals: Baby is only 1 month and I spend most of the days on couch nursing but I want to get:
-5000 steps a day,
-at least 3 lifting sessions a week (40 mins) - we have a fully equipped home gym so no excuses
-3 light runs a week (15-30 mins)
-eat decent food and try to avoid junk as much as possible
-lose 4 pounds.
We will see how it goes- I’m super tired and exhausted Bc I get very little sleep as of now but I’m excited to be here again.
Hope everyone is staying safe! Fingers crossed this crazy situation will be slowly going away and we get our normal lives back.

Weigh in Week 1
Weigh in day: Sunday
PW: 259 (117.5kg)
CW: 256.8 (116.5kg)
- 2.2 lbs / 1 kg. Finally a decent drop 😄6 -
Hi everyone, quick intro. I'm Kristy, 41, from Auckland, New Zealand. Married for almost 18 years, we have 4 children aged 16, 15 and 11 (twins). For work I essentially translate Technical engineering mumble-jumble into whatever the end user needs to understand - I'm a Technical Writer working mostly in financial compliance for a company making Outdoor Payment Terminals. Basically what you use when you pay for gas at the pump.
A few years back I was super morbidly obese. I lost 160+ lbs without any surgery, got qualified as a Personal Trainer, then started having health problems with migraines, nerve pain, injury, and after maintaining my weight loss for a few years gradually put a bit over half back on. I also got diagnosed with an ED, but am in recovery.
I don't do things by halves. If I decide to do something, I do it. Even if that's just putting one step in front of the other consistently because it's all I can do, I don't quit. I also don't tend to do things on a small scale! Some people might gain or lose 5 lbs, apparently I gain or lose 50+... that's just me. Wouldn't the world be boring if we were all the same?! 🙃😜
Right now we are about 6 weeks into lockdown in NZ, all 4 of my kids are studying from home and hubby and I are working from home. My pain levels have been up and down a bit, but we have a full gym set up in the garage and I have been working out doing cardio and Yoga every day. Also doing Personal Training sessions with my son (15) who plays Rep Basketball and needs to keep in shape while sports are postponed. I'm thinking about doing a bit more Personal Training if the world ever returns back to normal again, I'd forgotten how much fun it is!

Hi!
This is my first experience joining a team like this, and I'm excited to try something new!
I am busy all the time with a very demanding job at a non-profit organization in Dayton, OH. Since mid March, it has shifted to even more responsibilities with fewer staff, but I'm willing to keep going to serve our community!
I also have 2 children that keep me busy outside of work; they are 13 and 10.
As for me, I have worked hard this last year to lose weight. I was at my heaviest at 255 lbs as of last March. I'm ready to really try with this new group support to continue to lose.
Working and home schooling has been exhausting, and I know many of you are feeling the same stressors. I applaud all of you!6 -
Check in for Sunday - the weekend went far too quickly, it's 10pm here.
Food - tracked and okay, I deliberately went a little over because I was hungry and I've got the calories in my weekly budget.
Exercise - 25 mins Spin, 15 Elliptical and 30 Yoga. I've been pretty tired today or I would have done a bit more.
Water - Somewhere around 1.5L, it's cold and wet, heading into winter and not as easy to keep drinking it now!
Welcome to @kenzierenzieroo and hello to @lenka1 and @twyla77, I joined the group back in February (I think?) It's nice to have new faces

@lenka1 and @twyla77 so happy to see you back on our team!!!
Welcome @kenzierenzieroo! This is a great team. Keep posting and good luck!
Most of all a huge thank you to @Cafelelia and @sleepymom5. Lisa and Pam put in many hours as captains of our team. It takes a lot of work and dedication. Especially with each of you dealing with your own personal lives and family concerns. You both have done a wonderful job keeping us supported and feeling loved. Thank you!!!!
Today’s to do list: bake lemon bars for Sunday dinner (moms making chille rellenos), bathe Lula Mae, bake strawberry cheesecake for teammates birthday tomorrow, walk 40 minutes, yoga, meditate, clean 3 bathrooms, sort Spring clothes, rest, maybe cut Mollys hair???
Yesterday daily check in:
Exercise-yes 30 minutes walk 28 yoga
Water32 oz
Sleep- 2 hour nap (catching up)
Food-IF 16:8 but I did have 4 oatmeal cookies with my strawberries and yogurt. They were so small. After nap 2 slices cinnamon raisin bread. So food could have been better. Had a big taco salad for lunch.
May goals:
Weigh 146 by May 27th. 5 pounds.
Continue walking program, we are on week 7 out of 12
Daily yoga
Abs 3 days a week.
Good luck everyone. Intro later.

Saturday check in
Food - Ate on plan
Water - 1.5 l
Exercise - rest day
I had a nice day yesterday and our entire family had a rest day. Now that I am feeling better, I promised the kids that I would do some healthy baking, so I made greek yogurt muffins and some protein cookies.
We have another new team member in May! Welcome @bburrer30 and we are very happy that you have joined us!
I will post a team list later today. Registrations are still coming in and we will likely have another new team member.
@mrsbell8well - Thanks so much! Great day yesterday and nice goals for May!
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx - Fantastic loss! Great day yesterday! That is so great that you can do training sessions with your son during quarantine. My older boy just will not listen to us when it comes to training, but it is amazing how he will listen to his coach during virtual training sessions.
@kenzierenzieroo - Welcome and nice loss!! I think that you will find the support here very helpful on your journey. That is amazing that you have already lost 25 lbs!
@lenka1 - Welcome back! Congratulations once again and looking forward to seeing photos of your princess as she grows! Love your May goals!
@Twyla77 - Welcome back! So happy that you are back and you will absolutely get to goal!
@sleepymom5 - We are both ready to put April behind us! Looking forward to getting back on track with you this month!!

Hi all,
Can't believe we're into the May thread already! Big welcome to our new and returning members
@twyla77 - evening snacking is totally my downfall as well. I've given myself certain ones I'm 'allowed' but sadly some I've just had to steer clear of as I have no impulse control with them lol. We seem to be big on pet pics in here but don't think we have any bunny ones... so just a subtle hint there
@lenka1 - congrats on the new baby! I'm sure you'll be back in a routine soon but don't forget you're doing a super important and super exhausting job already so don't push yourself too hard x
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx - woot, congrats on the weight loss - great drop
@Mrsbell8well - your bakes always sound so yummy (I'm still holding you to that cookbook lol), think I might start to tackle some spring cleaning as well this week
Quick re-intro... I'm Shelli and I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. It's a beautiful city and I love it, even if it's way too busy at the moment with people 'out exercising'. I live with my best friend/flatmate and two kitties so have some company to keep me slightly more sane during lockdown. My highest weight was around 210lb and since the end of Jan I've been slowly creeping - still a long way to go though. I was basically a poster child for unhealthy living - love snacks, takeaways, junk food, hate exercise lol - so it's a bit of a lifestyle adjustment. I don't have any 'banned' foods but am sticking to moderation and daily calories goals and have started getting better with the exercise. Luckily my previously instructor does two live-streams a week, which are great, and I'm attempting to find other vids to do inbetween. It's a work in progress.
This group has been a huge and amazing support (giant thanks to @Cafelelia and @sleepymom5 for doing such a great job, especially while dealing with their own struggles this past month), so hopefully May will be a positive month!4 -
Omg, my neighbour just sent this to me. LOL!!3 -
Steps for Saturday...7,813. I tried submitting earlier but the link to our team was missing!
I hope everyone has a great day!2 -

Saturday check in
Food - Getting better
Water - 64 oz
Exercise - 30 min walk
Good day yesterday. I did have dessert but I did plan it so that was ok. The scale was down a little this morning. I already am having a good day. I got my exercise and shower in before Mass at 11. That is why I am on here so late today. I plan to have a quiet day today too. We are having my son Dan and his wife over for a cook out in the back yard. Nicole and her husband have a virtual dinner with friends. We had a nice socially distanced setup last week so I will set it up again for this weekend. It was a nicer day yesterday, we should have done it then but today is still warm and not raining. Hope everyone has a good day!
Welcome @bburrer30 and @taylorsjostrand I am looking forward to getting to know you both!
Love the May challenge! I need to ponder a bit what I will be doing. You all know how I say small steps add up! I keep telling that to Jim too. I overheard him on the phone telling a friend how frustrated he has been since he is still so weak and tires easily. He told his friend that I keep telling him to look at all the small steps he has taken over the past two weeks and how far he has come. He said he had just been looking how far he has to go and now he is actually happy with his progress. Little steps do add up
@1theresamcvean Thanks for the recipe. It sounds so good! I can't wait to try it!
@Cafelelia I will definitely want to talk more about it when I am ready! I did get her book and watched a few shows but need to get back to it. Looks like you had a good start to May! Love the heathy baking, both sound yummy! Loved the Corona Lisa too Lol!
@kirsten11872 Nice loss! Your hard work is paying off!
@pacsnc6 I am glad to hear that chemo has been going as well as can be expected so far. Keeping you in my prayers. xoxo
@GingerPwr Sounds like you had a productive and healthy day!
@tryingagain5 Sounds like you had a good Saturday. I noticed that I am talking a lot more to people I usually don't. Guess we have a little more time now.
@KUMEcyclingteam Nice loss!
@ timibotkin @ljdanny @annliz23 @brown6267 Nice steppin Ladies!!
@twyla77 I am so happy you are back!! We missed you! Looks like you are off to a great start in May! Nice goals too!
@Lenka1 So happy to have you back. Sounds like you are ready to roll too! I like your goals, well thought out for where you are with a new baby and nursing. I know you will reach your goals. Hugs!
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx Nice loss! I remembered how you loved to do the Personal training. Maybe you can find a way to do it virtually? I know you are still working from home plus the additional things with the kids so there may not be the time now too.
@Mrsbell8well I can't believe you are on week 7 of your walking program! I guess I have been out of it lately! Sounds like you had a good day yesterday and will have another today! Glad to see you are catching up on your rest!
@kenzierenzieroo Lol! I just love that name! I hope you jump right in and join us. Don't feel you need to be perfect. When you are struggling is important to come and be honest and get support too. Sounds like you have a busy life between work and home life.
@podperson1 I didn't realize that your flat mate is also a friend. That makes things a little nicer I am sure. I am with you-I am ready for a positive month and May will be it!!5 -

Hi everybody my name is Taylor. I’m a single mom of a 4 year old daughter (Aylah) and I’m 25 years old.
I decided to start getting healthy because in the summer i am super unhappy with myself... every year. I spend most of my days at the lake and I want to feel comfortable in my own body.
After being in quarantine for around 2 months I’ve decided that I am not going to eat all the snacks, I am going to BE the snack.6 -
Saturday check-in
Food - good until dinner
Water - didn't track
Exercise - none, other than gardening
Been really focused all week. Eating well and getting exercise in. Yesterday started off well. Pottering about with jobs at home and bits in the greenhouse, then we all headed to the allotment. Main job was to plant out my beetroot seedlings. Literally hundreds of them. Took a long time, and is one of the allotment jobs I dread (tried other growing methods but this way has always given best results). Anyway, back was aching, time was getting on, and my partner suggested Chinese for dinner. I should have said no, but didn't. Didn't eat a huge amount, but reckon I went over my goal calories for the day by about 1000 calories. But worse in the salt a resultant water being retained.
On waking this morning I jumped on the scales. I was 5.4lb higher than yesterday morning 😯. Not sure I will have that resolved by Wednesday weigh in! But, I am never going to always be 100% good, so I'm not going to beat myself up about it.
Today has been better foodwise. Bbq for dinner - I knew this before dinner, so had light lunch (and no breakfast) so had the calories for it. Finally finished all seed sowing in the greenhouse and potting on. Now just letting things grow for a bit and determining when everything can be planted in the ground. Never been so prepared so early on in the season. Still lots to do to get the ground prepared for everything, but must admit being in Lockdown has made it a lot easier to get organised with all this stuff. When you have nowhere else to be and nothing else to do (other than working/looking after kids), the allotment has been a great diversion.4
