A whopping 1.2 miles around the parking lot at work. @DAve I looked for the grasshopper again, but he was nowhere to be found. I'm guessing he'd have trounced me in a race.

@darkrider42 - being locked inside for the last 7 weeks has been one of the motivators of joining this group! Otherwise the couch would have a giant @$$-shaped dent!

It’s amazing how many miles you can accrue when looking for a lost dog in the forest.

Adding 36 miles for 68 out of 250.

I hope you found it. We lost our Boston Terrier a few weeks ago when she wandered off during our walk and was gone overnight. It got down to 32F overnight so when she came back she was properly ashamed for running away, and cold & dirty so to add insult to injury she got a dreaded bath.

I truly believe it is possible to have several Mondays in a week because it was a long terrible Monday yesterday. Please add in 1.65 miles for a mtd total of 11.49

Found her right before it became too dark to hike. She was cold and scared but unharmed. No miles for me tonight. Five hours hiking steep terrain and my legs are toast.

Late to the party. After only getting half my goal miles last month...such a poor first impression, 😫 I was debating about what to do this month. Especially since I am now packing / doing home projects when not working because I am now in the process of buying a new house and moving...so more packing / project calories than moving miles.

Well, this morning I was told...get out and walk...lol. So in the midst of everything...going to post another goal. Figured I will need the break from all the stress of dealing with this! Will drop it a bit from the goal last month, but raise it a bit from what was done last month.

Goal for May: 30 miles (walking, gazelle, and/or paddling).

@B3ACHY - Yay, you're back!! You know, sometimes life just gets in the way and you just do the best you can. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just dust off and this is a new month. I can totally relate to what you're going through though! I just moved to a new house two months ago! It sure is a lot of work but does burn some calories too, thankfully! Do whatever you can...it's great for stress relief! Just don't let it become another cause for stress feeling like you have to get the exercise in. Hopefully it'll feel more like an "escape" from everything else you have going on and you'll enjoy the break. :flowerforyou:

@DEAN - So glad you found her!

Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day caused me to go for an afternoon walk before I yelled at someone. I'm at 24/50 and I feel better.

@Dave: Tah is for the start date update and congrats to you and vhuber for the long streak on here.
@ Dean: I am so glad you found your pup. That is a horrible experience. My dog had hemangiopericytoma and was being radiated at a speciality clinic several hours away from our home and it was 16 consecutive days of driving for treatment back in the early 90’s. Anyway, they had to use a human a facility one day because their machine broke down. When they brought my dog back, they did not hook him to his halter and he backed out of his collar and took off across a four lane highway. We drove back and looked all night for him and I found him the next morning after a 14 hour search. Truly a miracle.

Funny pics Dave! I'll share them with the grandsons, they'll definitely get a chuckle!!
Today was National Day Of Prayer & I texted a group along with Pastor & we met at lunch and said prayers for our county, state & the US. I served a luncheon for em too. I also prayed for us all on this group!
I took the 5 year old grandson for a 2.5 mile jog in the baby jogger!

My Tour des Chutes charity event in July has been rolled into a virtual ride. So I have entered my son and myself and we will pledge the miles we had intended to ride for July 11, 2020. So I am still planning a July trip to Bend on that weekend and my son and I will ride our pledged miles there. The entry fees are all donations for cancer patients. We may get a bunch of entries as Seattle to Portland event has been canceled along with everything else.

@JANET - Glad you got out for a walk to let off the steam! I've been really close a couple times this week to not holding my mouth shut and am also thankful for deciding to walk it off instead.

@VHUBER - Glad you're enjoying the humor. And thank you for thinking of us during your prayer group.

1.2 miles around the office building yesterday. Today's our half day but I'm stuck doing a monthly charge nurse meeting after. Since no one's posted an agenda, I'm hoping it's quick. They seem to be those meetings that should be emails. Will go walk when I get home.
