Them leg raises look like they will punish my lower back. Must be because I have ignored it!

    Should have posted this here...

4 arm exercises w/8 lbs, because my arms are weenies now, end of couch push ups and planks and 2x1 min on the bosu. So far I'm doing 2 sets of everything every other day. Will increase to 3 sets on Monday. Walking w/Pat 5 days a week. We are up to 2 miles a day.

I'm going to try and do some of the above Monday.

However...no walking today. We cleaned half the house. I dusted shutters, doors, vanities, closets, bookcases, books...ugh! That counts as exercise...right?

Anything that makes you sweat counts as exercise, right? I like to mix it up.
    • First today will be the the cat tree unpack/build. (2 sets - one for each cat household)
And we've been moving stuff from the broken house next door including a firewood rack.
    • So today's workout will also entail several uphill firewood hauls. (v.good for arms!)
    Shower tonite for sure.

2.11 miles in 45 mins. I did not use the cane today. My hip is fine. My knee got a little angry toward the end of our walk. I tried to walk a little faster, but I'm not there yet. I'll just keep pluggin' away.

Karen love the photo. That looks like such a lovely place to walk. Keep getting out there as a family. Way to go.

Paula that sounds like work to me. But be careful. That place is not stable! I know you know. But be careful. And where are the Zombies? I guess I will just have to read about them.

Chris you are doing so much better. I am so happy for you.

Our home internet is sketchy at best for some unknown reason. So if you do not hear from me that is why. >:)

Got in 10,000 steps or more each day this week.

Karen was that 20 lbs weights! If so stupendous. You go girl.

Chris you know your limits, but don't get to carried away. I know it takes time for the body to heal.

I have walked for 30 minutes today so far. At one stretch. My mind is on my coral, so not very productive. B)

    Thank you, Karen.

I'm going slow, Shelley. Pat has to slow down because I'm not walking as fast an I used to.

2.60 miles in an hour this evening. It's really hot here in northern California...98 degrees at 4:00 p.m. We walked at 7:00 p.m. and stayed in the shade. Lots of folks out with their puppies and kids. Walkers, runners, bikes, skate boards, skates.

I am in a grand funk this week. I do not want to work out. ***sigh***

Chris I am in that same funk. I am making a promise to us to do something this evening to break out of it. Going to go downstairs to my gym and stay in it for at least 15 minutes. Hopefully it will inspire me to stay longer.

Chris I am sure there is a song there somewhere! Funk sisters! :p I only got in the 15 minutes. My son was having a crises. Seems the mother of his oldest daughter is moving to Georgia. Never even told him. I was giving him names of attorney's to call. Not going to be easy with this covid thing.

We are leaving for our walk in 30 mins. We did 2.6 miles yesterday...hoping for a little more today. I wish I could start seeing our trainer again. Egads! I haven't exercised all week and my weight just keeps going up. Shoot, I wonder why...

Well I didn't do too much exercising this weekend. Saturday it was so cold and rainy. Wind chills of 40° so I just wasn't going to do it. And yesterday such a busy day.

We had our virtual church service where are youth did their faith credos. Bella was one of those 8th grade kids so a big morning for her even though it was virtual :-) then I drove my mom up to her sister's house about an hour away to pick up lots of soup that she had made for my mother. She's an amazing soup maker and freezes it for Mom. A little Bazaar with all of us wearing masks but it was good.

And then I decided I would have an afternoon glass of wine So no exercising after that :-) I made a Brazilian dinner yesterday. Every Sunday we are doing a different country and yesterday was Brazil. Boy was that delicious! I'll try to attach a picture here. Definitely ate more than I normally would this weekend but it was fabulous LOL! Back to the races now :-)

Chris any idea when your gyms will open back up?

Karen my daughter does a lot of meals from other countries. She really enjoys it. And who doesn't love soup? Yummy!

I worked a lot on my tanks yesterday. So not much time for anything else. Going to get back to the basics with them. More vacuuming and rock cleaning. And the filter systems. Less tinkering with chemicals. Have gotten in 2 1/5 miles this morning. Hope to get in another 2 1/2 tonight.

There were few cars at the gym down the street. Maybe swimming or maybe the clean up crew...don't know. Will have to ask my trainer.

We did almost 3 miles yesterday. The app I was using said 4 miles, but that would mean we were doing a 15 min mile and right now, that is impossible. It was breezy and cool...a nice walk.

Was able to squeeze in a 25-minute walk between the rain. Also did an arm weight routine with Jim and Bella in the basement before dinner. I know my arms are going to ache tomorrow :-)
