HOW IT ALL WORKS:
Every challenger weighs in on their chosen day, every week without fail! At the end of each week, the tallies are done to determine the team and individuals with the most weight lost. The best losers are announced with full fanfare every Sunday. The team competition is all in good spirits - may the most losing win!

We also track those small, steady losses with the Green Week count. If you lose, however small an amount, it counts for 1 week in the green. The total will be by month, and cumulative - so you can really rack them up and get to your goal even if you never hit the top of the leader board.

If you need a week off, a break, a change of weigh-in day - just ask your Captain here on your team chat page. If you take a break, you are moved to the Support Team. If you miss two weigh-ins in a row without asking for a break, you will be dropped from the team, so be sure to ask if you are travelling, sick, or just needing some time off. You can remain on the Support Team for as long as you need to. You still participate in the discussions and weigh in if you want to, but your weigh-ins will not be counted on the weekly tally.

Once you reach your goal weight, you join the elite Goal Zone! After hitting your goal, you need support to stay there, and you can help your teammates join you. You must continue to weigh in every week, and if you have 2 weeks above your self-defined goal zone, you go back to the regular team to lose that amount before it builds up. You will have a chance to hone those maintenance skills and stick with your team!

In addition to your own team, there are F2F Full Group CHALLENGES. You can do all or none - it's up to you. Participating adds a lot to your success, so we hope to see you there often! These can involve anything fitness, health, or nutrition - and they’ll get you moving, thinking, and learning about this journey. Check the Announcements section for full group challenges.

Let’s show our fellow challengers some F2F love! Introduce yourselves right away, and let the new month begin!!

I am Julie, one of your Team Captains. My counterpart and bestie is Beka, aka @Beka3695.

I am 38.. dating someone new in this very crazy pandemic. I also have an 18 year old that just graduated "virtually" in May. He also decided to up and move our graduation night so I have had a pretty rough ending to May.

I started my journey many moons ago. I was 237, got to 132 then got lazy and I am at 172.

    May Goals:
-Every day that I continue to work from home, go walk/jog/run an hour at lunch.
-Log all calories before they even enter my mouth.
    -Get and stay under 170.
-No grocery shopping unless its cheese, veggies, hummus or eggs (Sorry Beka, I forgot to say cheese too!!) This is to help clean out alllllllll the food that we have and to save some $$

If you have not already, feel free to friend me.

Yay, perfect timing! I'm just now doing my June planning and setting up an updated nerd sheet ( @Beka3695 !! ).

I'm 28, last year was a crazy year of graduating law school and getting married. I live in Finland with my husband and we have bought a brand new apartment that's still under construction - expected move-in date is right before Christmas 2020.

My May has been annoyingly slow weight loss -wise, but I started getting the hang of these routines again. I mean, my total loss in the May spreadsheet was a whopping 0.4 lbs. My last weigh-in was at 217.6 lbs. I've been hovering in the 210-220 range for most of the last five years, dropping to 200 twice. My first major goal is to arrive in one-derland (and after that, 198.2 lbs because I operate with the metric system and that equals 89.9kg). My end goal weight is somewhere around 165-175, but I hope to have a baby before I reasonably have time to get there, so I don't really think of that as a "goal" currently.

I'm happy with every single pound I lose and my mindset is that if I have to choose, I'd rather lose slowly and permanently than quickly and temporarily. Still, as we all probably, quick and permanent would be my favorite.

I weigh in daily, and use the Happy Scale app. I report my trend weight each Sunday as my "official" weigh in.

    June Goals:
    - complete food log every day
    - average burn above 2500
    - return to a weightlifting routine post-lockdown
    - lose at least 2 full pounds, preferably 4 (see rant about slow May above)
    - develop a working eating rhythm for office days, work-from-home days and weekend days
    - start going through stuff to declutter, reorganize and recycle as the big move-in date approaches

I am Beka, one of your Team Captains and Group Moderator. My counterpart and bestie is Julie, aka @boehle, and @themrwobbly is here to keep us moving physically and mentally :)

I am 43, married, mom of 2 daughters, Mimi of one amazing grandson, and human mom to 3 fur babies. I usually live in the beautiful mountains of Northern Georgia, but currently residing in Florida as I am acting Nanny to my sweet grandson.

I started my journey 2 years ago at 242 lbs, lost down to 174 and maintained almost 9 months before gaining back to 232 in July. It is only failure if you quit... right???

    June Goals:
    - Continue the momentum I have built in this spring!
    - Increase my NEAT or non-exercise activity thermogenesis
    - Increase my EAT... hahah meaning I should exercise more
    - focus on consistency of steps - minimum 6k a day.
    - Begin training for the Peachtree.... which has been rescheduled from July 4th to Thanksgiving Day.

If you have not already, feel free to friend me. Please make your diaries open. Your teammates (umm - or me) might want to borrow your ideas that keep you in check.

Welcome @Curvybaja55. I'm impressed that you lost around 30 pounds since December. That's awesome!

I joined this group in May at 216 and this morning weighed 209.4. In January I was around 225. I'm making slow progress, but that's OK. If I can end the year 50 pounds down I will be thrilled.

@Beka3695 - so normally I weigh on Sundays, and I mentioned switching to a Saturday weigh-in. Does that mess things up? I weighed myself this morning - do I do anything with that or wait until next Saturday to record a weight? Hope I'm not confusing things (other than myself - which doesn't take much these days).

Woohoo! I guess I’m the first one from the team to weigh in for June, and this is a glorious start at least for me. May total loss was 0.4lbs, this is already 1.3lbs so more than 3 times that, in just one week. Hopefully I can keep up the momentum and stay in green this whole month!

I’ve been trending between 98.1-98.9kg the entire May (216.3lbs = 98.1kg), and I’m so ready to see a 97 in the beginning of my trendweight next week. Scale weight already went there yesterday and today.

    Sunday
    262.6

This has been an awful week. I haven't worked out in the entire week. I'm a 911 dispatcher and our city is burning. I'm so exhausted and heart broken... I'm stressed trying to keep officers safe and hearing them yell we are completely surrounded with no place to go, I'm tired of innocent peaceful protestors who are there for change being overtaken by violent "protestors" who aren't there for anything but to watch *kitten* burn and loot silencing the voices who are there for the right reasons, I'm tired of hearing a firefighter scream he's getting hit by rocks and the THREE year old he's trying to treat medically was ALSO struck by a rock that was thrown and is now even more critically injured... I'm just tired. In my multiple 16 hour shifts this week, I did not pee once. I had to have food brought to me at my console because I could not get up.. which has basically meant pizza every day that has been brought to work cause its the easiest thing to eat while answering non stop phone calls for help or talking on a radio, I had to worry about my car being burned in the parking garage, and my safety just even walking into work meant being escorted in because they even threatened to over take our dispatch center... This past week and upcoming week will be *kitten* for my diet. So i apologize now to the team.

Hugs to you♥️♥️ so terrible of all that is going on; I will keep you in my prayers for your safety and strength to carry on....

@Beka3695 thanks for the tip!! I've never tried magnesium!! That may help!! I have other nerve issues too maybe that'll fix that too. I fell down my porch a few years back and I literally have a dent in my hip. Hurts and makes sleeping so hard!! The more I lose the less it hurts the more I move the less it hurts as soon as I lay down for an hour it just aches!!! I'm pretty sure it's the source of my issues all the way around!!

For June - we have added a new section to the spreadsheet called “Goal Zone” for those that reach and maintain their goal weight.

We have @luciicul in the zone. @Luciicul can you remind me of your maintenance zone?

Anyone else that would like to be added to this zone - let me know
