    Monday’s check in
    Calories: under
    Exercise: 55 minute walk
    Water:✅

    Steps 6/22 11,081

My water weight from the McDonald’s is gone. I did eat pickles last night so I hope that I have no bumps from those. I hate that I am so sensitive to sodium. The sad part is I love all things salty.

I got up and did my walk right away. I feel like I am so far behind in my day. Not that I have a schedule as that is one of the advantages of being retired. I retired young due to a disability.

I had a NSV today. My clothes are really getting loose. I don’t want to buy new pants yet so I will hang on until they are falling off me. I have some fall clothes in smaller sizes that a friend gave me so I should be good then.

Do you have a NSV (non scale victory) to share?

    Today’s goals
    1. Walk 45 minutes ✅
    2. Stay within calorie goal
    3. Drink 8 cups of water
    4. Bed by 10 pm

Loose clothes is the absolute best NSV in my opinion. I think I am the same with sodium. As soon as I eat a sausage I know I’ll be up the next morning.

    Well done this week! 👍🏻
    Steps 6/22: 16,232

I have totally fallen behind on the jump rope. Today I'm going to get two minutes in😁.

Got your steps in! Good luck with your jump roping! You’ve got this.

Oh I really like this! It shines a spotlight on the big picture which sometimes can get blurry when we focus on the back and forth of the same 3lbs of water weight 😅

    •Log all food: Yes ✅
    •Under Calories: Yes ✅
    •Exercise: Gym (❤️+💪🏻) ✅
    •Water: 2.5 L ✅
    •Steps: 14,578 ✅

Good morning Team. I had an ok yesterday but ended up eating a very late dinner. To make things worse I had pasta and it was almost 9:30 PM. We were running late with dinner and I could have skipped it but I was too weak and was tempted to eat. Other than that I had a good day.

Right now I’ve just finished my gym workout. It’s Wednesday so that means it’s pure cardio day. I did treadmill, arc trainer, rower, and stationary bike. 95 minutes total. Having my coffee now and waiting to eat at lunch time. It won’t have been 16 hours as I ate late but maybe 14 hours. I’ll push it as far as I can before I break fast but not sure as we always tend to eat lunch at 12.

Wishing you all a happy hump day 🐪❤️

    June goals:

•Log all food. The good the bad and the ugly!
•Stay on or under my allowed calorie goal.
•Do at least 30 minute workout each day.
•Drink at least 2L water each day.
•Reach at least 10,000 steps each day.

I had to google that as it’s the first I’ve heard of it. It looks interesting but very hard to do. I may try it at some point as it seems easy enough to follow. I will have to pick the right time because I know that I will most likely deal with some moods swings while on something like this. For anyone who hasn’t heard of it like me here is the link I used to inform myself on it

    Weigh-in week: 4
    Starting Weight: 229.0
    Previous weight: 213.6
    Current weight: 210.4

I won my dietbet!!! And for the past 66 days of logging my weight, I’m down 21.2 pounds! I’ve been so caught up in daily weigh-ins that I didn’t realize that I actually passed my first goal, which was to have less than 100lbs to lose. 🎉 I’m a happy camper today.

Catching up with my steps, I think I owe from Sunday.
    6/21: 12,706
    6/22: 10,621
    6/23: 10,660
    6/24: 4,283

Today I started doing some weight training and it got up to 88 degrees outside so I just didn’t have it in me to get all of my steps in. I’ll be back at it tomorrow!

    Wednesday’s check in

    Exercise: 17 minute walk

    Steps 7,903

Yesterday was a pretty lazy day for me. I did get out and walk a quick loop near my place. I slept like a log last night and even woke up 40 minutes later than usual. I was shocked when I look at the clock. I was pretty tired when I went to bed so that may have been a factor.

It was cooler this morning and I went for a walk about an hour after I woke up. The humidity is starting back up this afternoon and we are in for some brutal heat the next week. Glad we have air conditioning.

My granddaughters are sleeping over again tomorrow night. I have set a precedent of ordering takeout every time they come over since the pandemic. I have to stop this as they are coming over often now. I am getting them pizza tomorrow night. Pizza is a trigger food for me but I have to learn how to mange being in those situations.

    Have a great Thursday all!

    Today’s goals
    1. Stay within calorie goal
    2. Drink 8 cups of water
    3. Walk 45 minutes ✅
    4. Bed by 10 pm

Have you tried the 2-ingredient pizza dough? It uses 0-fat greek yogurt and flour. Top that with red sauce, low fat mozzarella, onion, mushrooms and turkey pepperoni and you have a great alternative to take out pizza. Easy to make and might be a fun activity depending on the kiddos ages. I was craving pizza and didn't want to take the hit of take out calories so I was glad I found this option.
