    Good thing for routines! I just noticed when I went to enter my evening bicycle ride miles for tonight that I hadn't closed out the month of JUNE yet!! OOPS!! :smiley: I'd better go do that now! :grin:

    It was another good ride and I went 9.3 miles and managed a 14.1 mph pace. That's probably a ride in the park for you pros, Dean and Anaconda! :lol:

    Have a great night, all! Except for you Leanz....you're probably just waking up, so in that case, G'day Mate!!

    YAY, It's FRIIIIDAAAAY!!! Have a great weekend, everybody!!! Headed to Iowa tomorrow for another overnight motorcycle trip. Going to the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa. Hoping to go to the funicular railway (Google 'Fenelon Elevator Co') in Dubuque on Sunday if it's open! Looks fun and different and a great view of the area! I'll post pics when I get back if we get to do it.

    Got a 30-mile bike ride in yesterday. Didn't burn as many calories as I would've liked, but oh well. :(

    @darkrider42 - sounds like a fun weekend!

    @djmicheals - you made it! I hope you get some rest this weekend.

    @lamlamsmakeover - 30 miles sounds pretty impressive to me! As does Dave's 14.1 pace. But I'm not a biker so I'm in awe of all you who are.

    @sufferlandrian - too bad about the tire. That was a good streak you had going.

    @Janet - we’re out there moving and will probably keep moving until our last breath, defying the naysayers (and our brains). That’s who we are :smiley:
    @lamlamsmakeover - that is a vey impressive distance
    @Dean - yep, you tempted fate, but I bet you took no time to sort it.
    @cpanus - I’m glad you’ve taken time to let that ankle heal, albeit slowly
    @kar328 - how’s the house move proceeding, do you have a completion date yet?

    I've only gotten in 10.25 miles in the last 5 days. 3.75 from walking & 6.5 from rode bike. I've done something to a bone in my right foot! I have it wrapped with Spartans tape just to get myself through the day. This morning I felt a pop & its feeling a "little" better! May have to call off my classes this week just to get it healed up!!!

    @k80flec - I close on my new house on Aug 3rd and if these picky buyers don't back out of mine by tomorrow night, I close on my current house on Aug 10th. They're asking for enough things to make this a new house. It's 13 years old. I'm in Packing Purgatory. I decided I have a candle problem. Way too many.

    That's GOAL for @KAR328!! :star: She's first to cross the line this month, but others are hot on her heels!!

    @LEANZ - Ugh, sorry you hurt your hand!! :disappointed: Hope it heals quickly and painlessly. :flowerforyou:

    Made it back safe from the motorcycle trip, obviously! :smile: Lots of miles and a few detours, but they were all good! We saw lots of curvy, hilly back roads and had a blast of a time. Never knew there were so many Amish/Mennonite communities in the rural areas of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin! We encountered numerous horse & buggies along the way. We also got to do the funicular railway in Dubuque at Fenelon Elevator Company! It was fun and the view was spectacular! It was definitely one of the highlights of the trip! We had a great time with the other couple we were traveling with too. You never know if you've never ridden together before, but they were very easy-going like us and were up for any adventure. Would definitely travel with them again. :)

    Now, back at it! I had two days off from exercising. Now I need to get out and walk and ride my bicycle today! :smiley:
