Garmin Connect is down. Doing manual entries until they fix it. Rumor has it Rasomeware hit their system.0
-
OK, the word from TAXC is that their software took down Garmin. Working on a fix now. Nothing official yet from Garmin. No word on when Garmin Connect will be back up either.0

Yay, it's finally Friday again! No big plans for this weekend other than donating blood. May try to get out for a day ride on the motorcycle if weather allows.
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

21st: 4.51 miles, 3.01 m running, 1.5 m purposeful walking - MTD 100.99
22nd: 6.27 miles, stationary bike - MTD 107.26
23rd: 6.27 miles stationary bike - MTD 113.51
24th: 6.25 miles stationary bike - MTD 119.76
It’s really confusing Garmin being down. I’m not sure that my watch has even recorded my stationary bike rides. It was running whilst I cycled .... I’m confused about what I have/n’t done I’m depending on the bike at present as my OH is struggling to walk any distance at the moment.
When I fell of my bike in June I landed heavily on my left side. I eventually got to see my Sports Physio on Wednesday and she paid some attention to the injury site ... it’s the first time I’ve ever been threatened with tape! My shoulder and hip know she pummelled them.
Have a good weekend everyone
ETA
@Dave - I donated on Monday, first time in a year. Cancelled last Autumn as I’d been on antibiotics because of a nasty fly bite - then Covid19 struck and I’ve had 3 appointments cancelled. I was getting frustrated. I’m being tested for plasma donations. One of my sons is RHneg and donates plasma/platelets (not sure which)1 -

According to Garmin, your activities should be recorded for several days on your devices. If you need to, you can connect the device a computer and download the .fit files. Then they can be uploaded into a program like Strava or Training Peaks.1

My Fitbit Blaze never records my bike miles. I don't know why or how to fix that. It will run the time & I think calories but won't show the miles ridden. I know the miles due to the mile markers on the hwy so I go by that.

Congratulations to @GrandmaJackie and @cpanus ! Way to move it!. Chris, glad to hear the ankle is better.
It's strange not having Garmin to track my total. I had a short run this morning, but not sure how many other miles are missing. Putting myself down for 44/50 but I think I have more.0 -

You’re right @Janet ... it is soooo weird not having Garmin working.
ETA:
Sunday lunch today was courtesy of our bountiful garden. Gorgeous roast beetroot, broad beans, peas, fine beans and garlic. The tomatoes and cucumbers (very tasty!), sweet pepper and chilli are looking fabulous too.2 -
