I had just decided to spend the afternoon watching a film in a cool room and knitting while watching it before I read this. There's a pile of things I could or should be doing! WTF (is this acceptable?) it's Sunday afternoon!12

Completely acceptable. Sometimes it's best to do what we want versus what we feel we have to do.

I'm not sure how many calories the climbing burned, but I put in 15% less than what the average woman roughly my weight would burn. It was demanding, hot and the kid kept on saying that we should keep the water/snack brakes short, to save up time ๐. After 2 hrs of climbing, he had had enough - I did not protest ๐.11 -

Well I did rest somewhat did a quick walk with the dog and hubby this evening swam in the pool but other then that a whole lot of nothing. I stayed within my food calorie range9

A few months ago I started trying to take a Sabbath rest. From Saturday 5pm until Sunday 5pm I have my phone set to block messages and anything online (basically only allowing photos, music, podcasts, Fitbit, MFP). I use the time to relax, cook, watch movies, walk, and read. It's been so relaxing.3 -

Another very active day in the garden. Since the gym is still not open my gardens are getting the time & energy that i normally put in at the gym. Hopefully all this work will make them easier to manage so that when things get back to normal I will be able to manage both.5 -

What was funny was ... the zoom meet host was in Jacksonville FL .... and she was quite surprised to discover that I was in Eastern Ontario Canada. I will probably "drop in " again on the second Sunday of next month ... see if anyone else "local to HER" shows up.
