Hi everyone,
My name is Ben, I used to be a regular user of MFP but it slipped.
I'm an obsessive runner and have taken part in many races and several marathons.
I've been injured with a knee problem for 4mths and have been unable to run, because of this the lbs have started piling on so I thought I'd better do something about it!
It's also my birthday today, so probably not the best week to start a challenge!😂

I know the 1st was still part of the July Challenge, but it is part of my August restart mentality, so I am including it here.

exercise: yes, a 20 minute walk. It was one of those days where nothing went to plan, but I did manage to squeeze in a short walk before the rain.
water: yes, I think I got in my 8 cups. My 1 litre water bottle, after closer inspection, needed to be permanently retired, so I used a half litre bottle instead and it is harder to keep track. I did buy a new one, so after it is washed today, I will have a new 1 litre bottle to work with for tomorrow.

Reflections:
I really wanted to get something good for dinner, but didn't want to sacrifice all my hard work, so I found a keto recipe for pizza that came out amazing! The main thing that made it a success, is you HAVE to bake the crust first to crisp it up! It came out great, and I ate half 😁

Note: it did not give a bake time for after toppings, I baked it for 7 minutes. It definitely could have gone a little longer to get that nice bubbly top!
Tomorrow is my wisdom teeth removal... I can't eat after 4am, so I am staying up a little late so that I can be tired enough to get back to sleep after I have a light breakfast early in the morning!1 -

I thought I would miss the bready crust, but it was perfect. Simple to make, too! The only complaint was how small the slices were... apparently half of the pizza is "starving" my boyfriend 😂1 -

Thanks, @cmhubbard92 I will try to be very careful and listen to my body. I don't want to hurt myself either.
I know there will be good and bad days in regards to what I'm able to do.
