And a few of us (me included) struggled a bit, but we can do this!
Today starts Week 3! Let's focus and see what we can achieve this week!1 -
Week 3 Thought (instead of a question):
For a lot of us, I think we get wrapped up in thinking about what we need to lose (20lbs, 50lbs, 100lbs, etc). What we need to focus on is just losing one pound. Weight loss should not be fast but consistent. By being consistent, you will make it a life change and learn to keep it off. If you lose 1 pound every week, you would lose 52 pounds in a year and you would probably be more successful in keeping it off for a lifetime. Average weight lost for most healthy individuals is 2 to 3 lbs per week. Don't try to make quick changes but lifetime changes. Find something that works for you and isn't "hard." Find foods you like to eat, not bland tasteless foods that you will never eat again. Treat yourself to a cookie or small dessert now and then.
We are all in this boat together, so let's not get discouraged and jump ship!2 -

My teenage son always has snacks around the house and they are not healthy ones, so I can relate! It was a very small gain so you can stomp that out this week!

I like when I have to mow my yard. With having two yards to take care of I use that as my exercise for the day, especially since our mower is not self propelled.2 -
