Haven't gotten out for my workout yet today. A little warmer out, but I feel a long bike ride might be happening today

Managed a 16 mile bike ride today. I had wanted to go further but the heat and wind dampened my enthusiasm a little once I got out there. Severe storms expected here tomorrow so any workouts might be indoor unless I can get out before they arrive.

Okay I lost this three times
Adding 44.6 miles of walking and biking for Aug. 8 -11
Rough couple weeks..some health issues and I had to put my old girl to sleep. Long story to go into, but she fractured her humerus, she was between 15 to 16 years of age and out of all m dogs, my first truly mine dog as my other dogs always loved my dad a little more. She never was happy until I was home with her to calm and relax. That is both my dogs in the last 14 months and also my dad. Life sucks sometimes and she always seemed to give me some purpose to be here through Covid. Heaven looks better every day.Okay I lost this three times

Have a great weekend, everyone! Headed to one of our friend's lake cabin for the weekend for a much needed getaway.

@kar328 - the keys sound just about right. I hope your cat survived her first days alone. I had to smile at you missing the street your new home is on
@dave - working from home sounds like a win-win for you. I hope you don’t miss walking round the lake/pond in you lunch break
@lamlamsmakeover - Happy Anniversary - 25 is a special one
@clepant - huge virtual hugs with a really tight squeeze. I’m really sorry about your pup and you did the bravest thing.
I’m still resting, elevating and icing my ankle (HaH, I wonder if it was the 5 mile of walking, albeit not in one go). I had it X-Rayed today and there is no obvious fracture - YaY. But I do have a further appointment with a consultant.
We’ve had some exciting weather here. Tuesday night there was a 3 hour electrical storm with flash flooding from the rain, followed by a shorter, repeat performance on Wednesday night.
I should be in the middle of my camping trip. We cancelled - him indoors barely tolerates shared bathroom facilities. So it wasn’t going to happen in the middle of Covid19. On that note, I hope you’re all safe and well.1 -
@clepant sorry for your losses. Love and hugs to you and your family.
@dave good news about your commute. Question for you as well. I'm still seeing the July numbers when I hit the new link.

My nephew went on three walks with me so I was able to get some good miles in on my vacation and my sister's family were very supportive of my healthier eating habits.1 -
