Sept 8 check in - still at 133.2!
I enjoyed a lot of wine over the long weekend but I was good about watching the carbs. I'm glad I didn't gain any weight and I'm not feeling bloated from eating junk.
This weekend I was able to wear a pair of jeans I haven't worn in over a year. It felt great to pull them on. I only own 1 pair of jeans (in 5 different sizes) since I rarely wore jeans to work. Now that I'm working from home, I appreciate having jeans to wear as the weather gets cooler.5 -

I've been drinking teeccino because they come in tea bags and I can carry a packet in my purse.

Well, since FMLA, I been sticking to OTF every morning. Took 2 days off over the weekend and back right into it. It's a good way to start the day!
I been careful hydrating too. 1 day I didn't drink enough water and I had the worst headache! I never get headaches so I didn't know why but then I realized I didn't drink enough water. Since then, it's water through out the day.
Thinking of lowering Carbs again. I started to eat more so fuel myself but it seems I am bloated. I feel blah. Just so hard to find the right amount. 200 is too much, 50 too little, under 100 is ideal.
Gotta keep loggin!!

Weatherking: We are seeing PROGRESS here. Congratulations.
I've been working the last few months on upper body strength. It paid off last week when my husband (you know, the one with the bad back) brought home four 50-pound bags of cement mix. He was only able to get one of them out of our sport-ute, so Old Lady Me got the other three unloaded and into the garage. One at a time, to be sure, but still .... I surprised myself but not as much as I surprised Hubs, since he didn't think I'd be able to pick up 50 pounds even once. Hah!!5 -

I did really well on our getaway to the beach. Stayed under calorie budget and got lots of steps in. I’m disappointed not to see a very big difference on the scale yet, but I can definitely feel the difference!5 -

I'm down a pound! And just in time. I needed to see some progress to stay motivated with resisting carbs and getting up early for morning work outs.3 -

Covid GW don’t gain
Goals for September
1 continue the Beachbody 21 Day Fix Real Time Week 3 for 3 weeks
2 exercise at least 5 days per week
3 one hour walk at least 6 days per week
4 reduce after dinner snack — my nemesis
Weighed in yesterday at 127.2 and today at 127.8.
1 & 2 Did 21 day fix real time week 3 with double all week.
3 did 6 walks
4 it was hard at first and easier near the end of the week. Drank water after my walk to curb the desire to eat something
5 Started tracking food again. I often take breaks from tracking food, then do it for a few weeks to remind myself how many calories I’m eating.
We’re camping this week (left this morning), so we’ll see how next week goes.5 -

My goals this month:
1. Stay off the sugar. I've done well this last week, so I'll try to stay on this momentum.
2. Current weight: 74.0 - goal weight by the end of the month: 72.0.
3. Get my weekly steps back to at least 70K /week
Monday 7th : still 74.0
Monday 14th : 75.9 - which I know to be a glitch, but still
Apart from the weight, there finally is a lot of good news to share (after months of pain and misery).
1. The border with the dive spots is open again ! Hurray !! I can go diving again.
2. Diving is not as normal, as hubbie had to do A LOT by himself to get me into the water: load and unload the car, prepare and disassemble my set, get me in and out my suit, get my hair into a ponytail (hihi), etc... but once in the water I was fine as all gravity went away and it actually did some good to my shoulder pain. I swear hubbie is a saint !
3. Now that the dive areas are green again, we booked an impromptu holiday, we are leaving on Friday for one week in our usual cabin. Hurray, our first holiday of this year !
4. Hubbie has taken up running again and he is losing weight and he tries to eat healthier, which will certainly help me as well.
So yes, my weight is not under control, my eating is still out of bounds, but it seems as if I can get more active again and that will help. I'm positive !

I ate a lot of sodium over the last couple days and went over my calories budget on Saturday, so I’m actually pleased to have stayed steady. I’m loving this fall weather but my Fitbit doesn’t think working in the garden counts as very much exercise 😏 It doesn’t count the gym either, so what does it know!1 -

September goal is keep doing what I got started on a few weeks ago - helping out with the barn chores and/or riding 5 days/week (in addition to my normal activities).
This has given me 2.5-4 hours of activity a day compared to sitting around most of the time.
My body is still in a bit of rebellion I believe though, and the scale is taking its time dropping, but it's also been difficult to manage my hangries LOL. And while my weight isn't dropping like I had hoped, it is stabilizing, so that tends to precede a drop. We shall see lol.
Good thing is I am sure the activity will pay off longer term, PLUS, I've been sleeping WAY better.

Less stress and everyday gratification, I am in the land of Peace right now!
FMLA has brought me to a better place. I love making breakfast and eating with my daughter, being able to pack lunch for my man and sending him off with a kiss.
Taking morning OTF and starting the day right, going for daily walks with my kids during lunch etc.
I can see she's doing well with her online IEP and started to open up to classmates and teachers.
Hope this trend continues and that she get's even better!

Hello again. So I started the July thread after a long absence and then promptly disappeared again. Mind simply just not in it, as much as I wanted it to be. This week I've started logging again, and food really has been my biggest downfall. And finding time with work to log on to the forum is challenging as generally I cannot be bothered to turn on my laptop at home and it just doesn't work that well on the phone.
I'm too heavy, I weighed in at 174.2lbs this morning, though I know I'm bloated right now (I swear it's the fibre intake which has skyrocketed!). Birthday now out the way (almost two weeks ago), time to care about myself. I am exercising more and generally being better, though it feels like a slow transition. Been back in the office since the middle of July so the walks to & from work are helping too.
Height: 5'10"
HW: 183lbs (Fri 24th March 2017)
SW Sep 2020: 174.2lbs (16th Sep weigh in)
Ultimate goal: Not sure. Starting with 160lbs
Sep goal: 173lbs

In the last few years there have been a few references to Strong Curves on these threads and I wondered if anyone is following that or has followed that?4 -
Hello!
I was on this forum a lot a few years ago but haven't been back in a long time. I recently started using MFP again and figured I'd jump back on!
Height: 5' 9.5"
Starting Weight: 193lbs
Current Weight: 188.6 lbs
Goal Weight: Unsure, saying 165lbs for now
I carry weight really well, so for most of this weird Covid time, I didn't think I was gaining weight. Then my clothes started to feel a bit uncomfortable and I finally stepped in the scale. I have no memory of ever being over 190lbs. The highest numbers I've seen have been in the 180s so when I saw 193 I figured it was time to get back to business!
I'm unemployed at the moment and due to some uncertainty about our future location, I'm not looking for work right now. No better time than now to focus on health! I've been cooking dinners every night and making sure to eat food I've prepared myself instead of takeout or convenience food. Now that I feel like I've got my eating somewhat under control I'm adding workouts back in. I used to go to OTF and loved it but since I lost my income it's not really feasible anymore. I did get a year subscription to an app/website called Centr. It's the one Chris Hemsworth advertises. I really like their workouts so I'm trying to get into a routine with those workouts.
Nice to meet you all and keep up the good work!

I was so shocked and happy that I almost fell off the scale. I got off and on a couple times just to make sure it wasn’t an accident. I guess the sodium finally cleared my system. Yay!2
