I weighed myself 3 times in disbelief! The beginning of the week I saw very little movement on the scale, and I know I shouldn't let it bother me but it did. I stuck with my routine anyways and snuck in some extra exercise with the gorgeous weather we had and omigosh! Hello 160s!

This was me this week too... such a toss up, do I squeeze in a bit more time on the computer getting some work done, or get up and get a walk in. Most days I try to do both, but this week just didn't turn out that way! I really do need to make my walks a priority though, I find that just 20-30 mins in the morning can give me more energy, and make my whole day better!

Just curious, how many of you will be celebrating Thanksgiving this week? Do you have any special plans?
I live in Southern California, and with Covid, everything has been turned upside-down. We are being extra cautious, do not want to get anyone sick, and wanting to stay well ourselves. So instead of our usual Family & Friends get-together, I will be just spending it with my hubby, just the two of us.
I have 2 adult sons, one is going to make the turkey, the other a ham, I will be making some simple sides and dessert. We are doing this at our own homes, then are going to split up the food 3 ways, and do a quick meet up and do a food sharing / swap... then back to our own homes...
I am feeling kinda sad about this, but hopefully this will help to keep everyone safe. I am already looking forward to next year when we can hopefully go back to our traditional Thanksgiving.2 -

I apologize for not being very active this week. I've had a lot of unexpected things pop up in my personal life and things have been busier than usual. I am so proud of each and every one of you and I can't wait to continue this competition with you in December 🥰

Sorry guys the eggnog got the best of me. Back on track until Christmas. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.1 -
Calories counted and under. I’m going to focus on watching my calories and just staying active. I haven’t exercised but will have about 9,000 steps. I have a lot of things to do around the house before Christmas. My 4 month grandson is back in hospital with inflammation of the intestine. He has been in a lot of pain. Starting antibiotics. My son and his wife were up in Emergency all night. It’s a distressing time for my family.1
