When I was ten years ago, my family drove through the Alabama Gulf Coast and stopped a few times to wade in the water. Decades later, I still remember it as one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Hopefully, the situation with the virus will improve in the coming year and you can go back to those beaches.

@SModa61 The picture doesn’t do justice to this because you can’t hear them all calling. It is kind of like a bunch of sheep. The call is individual and mom and pup recognise each other by their individual calls. That said, there have been cases where moms swop pups as they are born in the chaos of the colony. However once the call is imprinted on the mom she will only feed that pup as far as I understand. The mother’s suckle pups for 9 months at least so they go to sea to catch their own fish and leave the pups to play together in the rocks. When mom comes back she calls and all the puppies call back until she identifies her own.6

To busy today, but all good and positive and spent time with a dear friend today! I didn't have time to read through all posts like usual, but will check back and read today's posts tomorrow as well as yesterdays, like I normally do. Hubby is sleeping already and light on from my computer wakes him, which computer in office that is attatched to our bedroom. Did my zumba. Hoping to drag my son out for a walk with the pup. I must just post...I am truly blessed to have such an AMAZINGLY SWEET 14 yr old son. He can be a real turkey sometimes(par for the course), but he is SO GOOD TO HIS MOM! That boy has gone out of his way to help me. I think my grey hair makes him think I am getting older and that he better cherish our time together, lol. He keeps telling me that he loves me more than usual...and that maybe I should color my hair. HAHA! I guess I could try... but this is pretty fun too. I haven't colored it since February...

Barely made it, but I did. A little walk in the morning, a HR Robertson in the evening.
I did not sleep enough, but just about as not to use a pass. Woke up tired, though... If I think about it, during darker, colder days the Body needs eben more sleep (save up on energy and preserve the imune system... vit D also lacking...). My problem is having me-time just when kids are in bed. But yes, I should turn off the internet after 11 p.m.! Maybe stop using my mobile at 10 p.m. Excellent sugestions, team!5 -

Hubby and I went over to a friend's house for dinner. She made lasagna with garlic toast, and salad and green beans. For dessert she had homemade christmas cookies and homemade ice cream!!! I did "pass" on the garlic bread and on dessert, and I TRIED to pick the pasta out of my lasagna, but didn't do very well at that part.
Thankfully I had gotten on the treadmill earlier in the day, but when I got home I had to get back on it again for work off MORE calories! Lol. So I squeeked under for the day, but BARELY!!
