Same weight beginning & end of month & trend wt. (went down slightly the back up slightly)
2,122 cals/day eaten
1,614 resting energy + 669 active energy = 2,283 cals out
Should have been 161 cal deficit per day
Or 1.4 lb loss, but I maintained
SO I noticed my husbands watch thought out huge hike awhile back burned 800 cals & mine said 1,000.
So I multiplied 669 x .8 x 30 days = 2149
SO Looks like I hit it just right (eating less than burned) & for the next month I’ll aim for .8 x exercise calories + my resting!

As the weather gets warmer, I'll disappear more. I just need to be outside, y'all 🤷🏾♀️ So, as this past week of frantic catching up with posting attests, I can't promise reliability while @RangerRickL is in Costa Rica! It took me awhile to build the smaller habits to be able to meet the UAC goals.
I recommend taking a gentle & caring approach as you do so.
I began with tracking.
Which led to success with calories. (Remember YOU set the calorie goal - I set mine pretty high & was willing to lose more slowly over a longer period of time in order to be more comfortable.)
I began walking a short distance, then did it twice a day. And then lengthened distances. Then collapsed it to one long walk.
Sometimes breaking things down & giving ourselves The Gift of Time makes all the difference.
Thank you @MadisonMolly2017 for asking. Actually, It is hard to stay on track recently as I am so busy and distracted.
My grandma in intensive care because of cerebral bleeding for 20 days, I had overnight guest for two days and also it is Ramadan month for us ( fasting month for Muslims), I cook nice meals to celebrate and motivate my kids patience daily.
I couldn’t post since Wednesday but I am tracking my food intake anyway.
I will pass the rest of April too. Hopefully I will have a fresh beginning in May.
