I am an OUTDOORS person - when the weather is nice there is nowhere I would rather be.
I have always said I head out to play in my “grown-up sandbox” when I get out to work in the garden... not as much of a cardio workout as it is a strength work out, but at the moment it is taking all my time!4 -

Still feeling a bit weak from the surgery, but now that I have the Dr's ok I am doing a lot more. When I saw the Dr on Friday he told me that my hernias (3 of the damned things) were a lot worse than he anticipated and the operation took longer and more cutting and hacking than he had told me to expect before hand. He said that is the reason I have been feeling so slow. Wish someone had told me this earlier. But I am recovering and will get back to normal, actually better than normal. He said that 2 of the hernias had a lot of scar tissue, and had been there for many years. I guess I was too fat to notice and just assumed the belly aches I had were diet related. I can tell the belly feels better already. He told me my whole gut side to side, belly button to bottom is now encased in mesh, and that should do the trick.8 -

I didn't plan to use a pass day but knew I might end up doing so since we went out to eat and I chose to eat more caloric foods than normal and drank wine. I did manage to do weights today to make up for not doing them yesterday.3 -

We had party at work before the Ramadan which will start in April 13. So I used pass day for April 9 but party went on at home with Saturday breakfast 😌.
Ayway, I am back to tracking today.
Btw, we had snow yesterday, in the middle of April !!!

I was absolutely convinced that this was going to be a pass day. It wasn't!
My exercise was working in the garden an hour or so. I had a relatively late breakfast that was higher calorie than usual and we had planned a dinner that I knew packed a huge number of calories, brandied shrimp. Mom and I allow ourselves a half pound of shrimp each with that dish because it tastes so good. I also allowed myself several glasses of wine. When all was said and done, I was surprised to see that I was still under on calories.
Then only downside is that even though I slept all night, eating a lot of rich food that late and having the wine meant that the sleep wasn't really restful. But ohhhh did it taste good. LOL3 -
