Hi, I'm glad I found this group on here. I just started to walk with Leslie again here, so excited to see these walking challenge posts, definitely will help with the motivation needed to keep going! I know I'm late to the party here, but my goal right now is to do a 2 mile workout M, T, Th, F, and a 1 mile workout W, Sat. with Sunday my day off, unless we do a family walk around the neighborhood. Limiting myself because of some physical issues, but pushing myself to do my best each day.

@zichab Oh, no, your Common Loons were probably really mixed up with the snow falling so late in the month! My brother in western Pennsylvania had a surprise late April snow also. Look at all those miles you are posting! You definitely are getting your MoJo back πππ€ΈββοΈπ .
@Deeder522 WoW look at how you added up those miles on vacation! That was a lot of super walking πββοΈ . We are proud of you for taking on the Earth Day challenge on your Apple watch by swimming πββοΈ for 30 minutes!! . I'm certain that you were quite π΄ exhausted. You surely earned your rest. And look... you now have a bunch of bonus miles!! Well done also for completing your special Apple Watch challenge of dancing for International Dance Day π.
Oh, no @AnnofB , you hurt your left knee last week while walking your dog. Rocks (or other hard surfaces) are neither kind nor gentle when they come in contact with our knees π . I'm hoping to see a good report as I continue scrolling and reading.
I haven't seen any one mention elevating your knee/ leg and using ice packs as useful to help with bruised knees. Although I'm sure we all know that by now with all the exercise and work we all have done over the years here with our group. Been there and done that myself π€¦ββοΈ . Yay! you are back to being able to workout again!! I was really happy to see how fast that you recovered ππ.
@RisingAboveIt that's a lot of overtime hours you are putting in at work. You might be having trouble fitting in miles after all that extra work, but your certainly aren't giving up! And that counts for a whole lot. Just pace yourself and do the best that you can and it is all good! Yard work is an awesome way to get in exercise and get some of those outdoor jobs accomplished! And look at you getting in all those running πββοΈ miles in too π.

Sorry, the last week or so sure got away from me in so many ways, and so i just couldn't seem to get onto the computer to post or log in.
Speaking of all the strange or bad weather events showing up, last night we missed the bad tornadoes and big hail and storms that came awfully close to my area. We are getting close to drought conditions here again, so we sure could have used more rain, but as my friends say we are grateful for every drop that we did get. I had tornado watches and warnings talking to me on my phone into the wee hours of the night. And the towns that actually were in harm's way not that far from us are suffering much wind and hail damage. Several years ago my neighborhood had quite a bit of hail damage and another time several tornadoes touched down just blocks away from us. So we knew the potential danger. I stayed awake and colored and drank sleep time tea till things quieted down.
My goal for this month will once again be to keep moving by using the rebounder, walking (mostly) indoors, using the Gazelle, or working outdoorsπ» π. I'm also adding in, only when appropriate, time spent working or deep cleaning, only if it is something more physically active/ or challenging for me.

I am having trouble copying or sharing my last workout list post fro my tablet. For April 30, I had 4 miles walking and 4.5 miles running, so my April total is 36.75.1
