    @Get_Back_To_Feeling_Good I calculate my eating time slightly differently than you. If I'm doing a 16:8 schedule and I start eating at 10:00am, than 8 hours of eating would mean I stop eating at 6:00PM.

    I plan on sticking to a 16:8 schedule for the 10 day challenge. The weekends are going to be really hard for me.

    @trinati2001 Weekends are rough when fasting! Try to carry water or tea with you always. Smells draw time to food so fast. I have to walk away!

    That's really low cal! The people who do 5:2 fast actually eat more than that on a fast day. They eat 500 cal on a fast day!
    Eating a high fat food also help you stay satiated and feel full. Like an avocado or nuts help me a lot.

    @Get_Back_To_Feeling_Good you have had 3 days under 1000 calories. Are you planning on continuing with that level of calorie intake?? To each their own but I don't think that is a healthy behavior, not for long term weight loss and not for short term weight loss.

    @Get_Back_To_Feeling_Good I'm sorry I misunderstood your chart. I thought it was showing total calories. I did not understand what net calories meant until I went and looked mine up. Here are my total calorie and net calorie charts.

    FYI this is the first time I've put a picture into a chat thread. Yeah for me!!

We went for a walk yesterday which was nice, but it ended in a migraine. Head still hurts this am. I'm wondering how the day will progress.

    I'm eating a very high fat/low carb diet. I try to get around 1,000 cal in each day. My macros are 70% fat, 5% carbs, 25% protein. Actually, I go over on the carbs to 10% often. It's still melted the weight off.

    @Mjbcoffee just wondering have you noticed a correlation between your diet and migraines? Just wondering if you get more when you have so few carbs? Or less with a 23:1 schedule?
  • If you never had them then please stop!! I started getting them at 20 on my honeymoon what yes ,y honeymoon and it went on until I Was 44. At 44 I went into a hospital after 15 days of none stop migraine I wanted to die. I agreed to them taking a brain scrape!! Yes what yes what they are going in and removing part of your brain. @trinati2001 haven't noticed a correlation between the migraine and eating schedule. I'd say that eating low carb and more keto I have fewer migraines. Plus the shot has changed my life. So, when fasting I'm more often in the ketosis state which is good for migraines/seizures.
    @Get_Back_To_Feeling_Good
    I eat low carb cuz carbs cause me to gain weight! If I eat low carbs/ high fat, then I can remain in a ketosis state and burn fat 24/7! Carbs also make me super hungry and then I have terrible cravings. I love bread and desserts so this is very hard. I've made some pumpkin muffins with almond flour that really help!

    I honestly can't imagine this! So scary! Do you still have migraines? What was the result of the brain sliver?
  • They never were able to give me a reason why it happened they tested for meningitis, tumors and everything they could think of. I was in the hospital 2 times over the next 2 weeks with them and spent about 8 days in total and it lasted about a month. The only thing I can think that caused them was blood pressure. My blood pressure was higher during this period of bad pain 170's/90's and they put me on medication to lower it. My whole life up to the fist migraine I was as some would say to thin when I got married at 20 my weight was below 160 at 6 feet tall. My blood pressure always was high 130's over around 90 so it was not a weight issue that caused higher pressure. But I never stopped taking the pills and my pressure now runs around 130/84. Have not had one since not even a headache so if I had to guess it was over my blood pressure but who really knows that is my guess. My mother still gets migraines at almost 80 years of age and her blood pressure is fine so again it is only my guess that it was my blood pressure.
