I was so busy in the garden yesterday I forgot to put this up. Here is a photo of my new Clematis "Josephine". I took this bloom from online, but mine look just like it.
I just need to get out there and find the perfect spot for it. I have one in mind. Yesterday I planted my new Hibiscus. A bright red Coral bell in the shade garden. Weeded some grape hyacinths. By some I mean I dug up and tossed literally hundreds if not thousands of them. They took over a 5 foot section of bed. Hidden by other plants.
So much beauty outdoors. Get up and get moving ladies. Try a new path, Chris take a GPS and your phone. Don't want to see you on a milk carton. Muahaha

Hey Shell,
I ended up getting a pair of Hoka's and love them. Thank you so much for the recommendation! Not only are they really comfortable and supportive but also super cute!! Haven't tried any long walks in them yet... Still leery of my knees capabilities, even in good shoes.

They look great Paula!

Karen thanks so much. I just love it. And I also love the name. Such a pretty flower must have a beautiful old name.
Paula I have been wondering if you got them. I love my Recovery slides by them so much I wear them around the house all the time. I love yours! I have to get me a pair for everyday now. Paula you look so thin. Just need a little toning. Don't lose anymore. You make me want to give up junk food you look so good.
I still need to get out and plant that new clematis. I did some other planting. And still am taking Libby for rides. The little Diva.

You may not know how much you did for me when we first met, taking me under your wing and teaching me how to work out. That was a major major gift. Gracias mi amiga! I need to get back into it and find the schedule you created for me back then. It was so short, simple and easy which is probably what it will take to start up again.
Almost have it memorized, wall plank, wall sit, wall pushups, it's around here somewhere...

This place is wonderful. You guys would be so proud of me. I repelled down a Mayan Cenote into the water with Ron. I only once considered going down the stairs. Challenged myself and my fears yesterday and have the pictures and video to show. Ron purchased the flash drive. When I get back I will post. In the meantime here are a couple of other pictures. WiFi is spotty hope they post. Back on Tuesday.

Great pictures, Kathy! looks like a beautiful place!
Paula and Shelley...I haven't gotten them yet.
And Paula, Shelley is the reason I've hung around for so long. We were on another group together and everyone disappeared except the two of us. Everyone went to Facebook or something. We didn't do Facebook. I still don't. She started this group for us. At that time, I had no idea how any of this worked. <--Shelley-->

Shelley feels like momma-bear to me.
And you, Karen and Kathy are fit-sisters.

Kathy, I love your photos. You two are so distinguished and elegant. Love, love, love! And the "circle mustache" (don't know what it's called*) looks really really nice on Ron.
*I found circle beard and pencil mustache, but neither fit exactly...

Kathy - you and Ron look fabulous ! Hope you are having a blast!

Kathy I so agree with everyone. But must say Ron looks like me when a camera comes out most time. Nopey nope nope. Get that camera away from me. I am getting better. But the one of you in the dress is so you. And look at that mischievous grin. You are up to something. Looking forward to the video, and I am so proud of you. From sinking to repelling into the water! What an accomplishment.
Paula thanks, but I only give the advice. You took it and ran with it.
Chris I am also only here because of us meeting on that other challenge. And now I have 4 great friends here all the time. Cheers to all of you gals.
Been cleaning outside. Patio ready for the summer. Rugs cleaned even. Pots all filled and full of flowers. All the new clematis and hibiscus plants in the ground. Same with the rose and painted daisy we purchased. Very busy weekend.
I bought a new bike. Yep, you heard right. This one is red and black. It is a little shorter than the other. Rocky is inheriting my black bike. Which he will paint. I will need a new basket for Libby. This bike is slightly smaller. Should make stopping on a dime easier on a 90 plus pound bike. This one is a fat tire, step through Aventon Aventure. Photos to come.
Hey Paula I sent you a text on my new cell phone. Feel free to give my number to the other gals here.

Sara and I went shopping at Target today. We went up and down the rows for about half the store then it started to get busy!! Time to go! Everyone was masked-up and polite. Then she took me to the flower shop where they got most of the flowers and stuff for their "new" yard. Man! I am in heaven! I have tried and tried to get a Plumbago for our yard for a very, very long time. I found a beauty today! Pat will plant it right under the window behind my computer desk. So excited!! I'll send a picture when it is in the ground.
Chris0 -
Chris I can't wait to see it. I have to admit, I have never heard on it. Must go google it. Glad you found what you have been searching for.
Here is a photo of the bike I am getting. Went riding with Rocky tonight. He has trouble with his knee still. But he will love the bike I am using.

This is just a picture of the Plumbago...it's not my plant...wanted you to see what it is.

Shelley, your new bike is so cool looking! When do you get it?
Chris0 -
@cpanus I think my parents had some of that years ago. Just did not know what it was called. Very pretty. Are they invasive at all?
And I do not know exactly when. Shipping is scheduled the end of this month. I love the way this one looks. And the reviews are mostly good. I do love the first bike also though. Going biking with Rocky is going to be so much more fun though. But the speed will still have to be kept down some. Libby does not like going over 17 MPH. And she now has goggles. Working on her getting used to them. Will update when it arrives.
Shelley0 -
Not invasive but grows big, Shelley.
You are going to have fun with Rocky and the pup. Hope she likes her goggles.
Chris0 -
Shelley - your bike looks AMAZING! How cool...ride it in good health!

So just finished my project of re-doing my front stoop on the right pic....I don't have a lot of experience doing home stuff, but am trying! Happy with how it came out

I love the new color. While I love the unusual older mat the new one fits the area better. Nicely done.
And to all of you who commented on my new bike, thanks. I am very excited. It gives me a sense of freedom.
Chris I want to see yours as it grows. I love the color. I noticed I have 3 of my older Hibiscus plants popping up. But the wind is so hot and dry here it is killing my irises. This morning was beautiful. Wish I could have stayed home.

Nice job, Karen!
You got it, Shelley, as soon as someone...not saying who...plants it like he promised...I get pictures. The wind is being hard on the blossoms, tho. The pictures my end up just being green stems!!

Kathy - love the vacation pics! Looks like a great time!
Karen0 -
Kathy where is the 3rd photo from vacation? And I must up my game when I am around you. You are always so well put together. And I am always "comfy". I don't know when I wore earrings last. Or my wedding ring for that matter. Or shaved my legs to put on a dress or shorts. Wait, shorts, no way. My legs are so white they would scare the seagulls. I need a makeover. Love the dress by the way.
So I have been riding my bike lots. And I cheat a little. I start out by pulling back on the throttle and just get going before I actually even pedal. Now I heard that my new bike won't do that! It has to be going at least 2 miles an hour before the throttle can kick in. WHAT? That is crazy. I have been using the throttle to kick start the bike I am using to quickly get across busy streets. Must learn all over again. Crazy talk I tell you.

Fantastic. We had such a great time. Spent mornings on the beach and afternoons at the pool. Two great excursions, great food and drinks. Lots of fun and I practiced swimming and snorkeling. I was so worried I had forgotten what I learned at the Swim Center but I had not. Will post some of the excursion pictures soon.
Kathy2 -
Here's the photos I promised of the Cenota excursion and Ron and I rappelling 85 feet into the Mayan cave below. Its fun to test your limits and even more so when you're conquering fears. Nothing was going to stop me, not even the rain. That's why my eyes are closed sometimes and my face looks like I'm scared but I wasn't...it was the rain! 😂😂😂

I'm totally impressed, Kathy!! I don't know if I could do that.

My flowers are really popping! The lilly is one of yours Shelly.
