Today is another special recognition day.
Today we want to congratulate our UAC Champions, These are the members who consistently post and stay accountable within the UAC regardless of their number of pass days. Being accountable for one’s daily exercise, calorie goals and journaling are foundations for developing healthy habits. Congratulations all!

Good day today had a Bannana 4 breakfast to allow for big lunch out then cake for desert! Im loving my food atm and def hve a better relationship with food, as not seeing particular foods as good and bad and instead seeing treats as fun foods. Night all Xox8 -
Congrats to our champs!!! Xox1

Little gloomy out, but Harry and Han don’t seem to mind.

Thanks for tagging me. I wasn't able to find the group for July! I'm going to report for the past two days now...7

Yes, yes, and yes, it was a good day!8

@Higa2021 no worries! We're so glad that you're here!!
In the beginning (until I got the lay of the land) I had to "bookmark" the page and add it as a favorite in my bookmarks. Eventually I figured out that if you click on COMMUNITY, and change your view to FOLLOWING, any group(s) that you are a part of should appear there. (What can I say, sometimes I'm a slow learner!)5 -
🎉 Congratulations 🎉
to those who made it to Champions

Pass day #2
I did get plenty of exercise – walked to the park with daughter and grandchildren – 12,000 + steps so far.
BUT – food was way out of my usual.
I haven’t tracked it – I don’t even know whether the database has “cod and chips” – proper British fish’n’chips. (I didn’t eat all the chips but even so … ). I also a jam doughnut after lunch and a cupcake (made by granddaughter) after dinner. Hardly any veg all day, and only a couple of strawberries and cherries for fruit.
Now I’m home and I have had a bowl of fresh fruit salad but it probably still doesn’t add up to “5 a Day”.
I’m usually a big veg eater (8 to 10 portions a day) and low fat with reasonable carbs. I would not usually have a big plate of pasta for lunch followed by a jam doughnut! And fried, battered fish with greasy fried chips for dinner followed by cake!
However, I’m maintaining at the lower end of my range and I know one day (or even a week) of poor choices will not be disastrous.
I will be a Champion – I can check in every day even on holiday – and stay disciplined and focused.

Probably more details than anybody wants to read about the ride this morning:My daughter fought through her anxiety today to put in about 7.75 miles with her aunt and I this morning. We stopped for 10-15 minutes at the halfway point to let her get herself collected and centered before we headed back. The cold, clammy skin was back, but she wasn't as ice cold as she was last week. Only one near disaster as she hit her brakes too hard when coming down an incline to some pedestrians with more pedestrians and a couple of cyclists coming the other way. She lost her balance and the rear tire just came off the ground, like the bike was a bucking bronc. She got her feet on the ground and was moving, albeit not very quickly, to one side. The oncoming cyclists didn't bother to ask if she was okay or not, just sniped at her to move her bike out of the way because the back tire was less than half over the line into their lane and she wasn't moving quickly enough. I understand wanting her to move, but geez, they had room. Why not give a person a break, especially if you don't know their skill level? Sorry for the rant. I get a bit defensive because I know what my daughter is dealing with just to get out there at all.
Dumb me, I forgot to stop my activity tracker when we drove home, so it added another 10 miles or so to the distance we rode, and gave me a great time! Hahahaha!
Going to ride again in the morning. Solo. And again on Monday, with a group from the running/riding group I'm part of. I've been promised that my non-racing bike and I will not be left in the dust like I was the last time I rode with some riders from the group because a lot of these particular riders are relative newbies. I hope my friend is right because I really don't relish the idea of driving 20 miles to ride by myself when I can do that just as easily from my place.7 -

Tonight was a good win for me - there was a birthday dinner out with friends and last night I pre-tracked my choices so I knew what I had to do for the rest of the day to work around it. Happy with how it went!7 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes- Treadmill: 37 min / 2.2 mi

Apple rings closed: 3/31
Today was a bit of a challenge for me. For one I slept until 11am so getting my 12 up/downs for the Apple rings had to be managed carefully but I made it. The other challenge was that we went to a small dinner party at a friends house so I had to manage my food intake. I ended up having only steak, asparagus and some wine which allowed me to stay within my calorie limits.6 -

July 3 was a good day. Walked for an hour while watching my favorite terrible tv show at the moment. Tracked everything and stayed in the range. My additional challenge this month is to eat no dessert. So that was a yay as well. 2/3 days of no dessert. Oh and 0/3 pass days but it's still early 😆6

Slow to report, but I made it through July 3rd. Did go out to dinner and tracked everything as well as one can in a restaurant that has new daily menus and no nutritional info. Fortunately, I'm pretty experienced at this from my numerous years in WW. I was actually solidly under for the day. Weather was terrible and time was limited so exercise was going up and down the two towers of the condo building in laps. Three yes for the 3rd. Today, the 4th is actually going to be harder than the going out to eat, but tomorrow normal again. That's acceptable to me.7
