Probably more details than anybody wants to read about the ride this morning:My daughter fought through her anxiety today to put in about 7.75 miles with her aunt and I this morning. We stopped for 10-15 minutes at the halfway point to let her get herself collected and centered before we headed back. The cold, clammy skin was back, but she wasn't as ice cold as she was last week. Only one near disaster as she hit her brakes too hard when coming down an incline to some pedestrians with more pedestrians and a couple of cyclists coming the other way. She lost her balance and the rear tire just came off the ground, like the bike was a bucking bronc. She got her feet on the ground and was moving, albeit not very quickly, to one side. The oncoming cyclists didn't bother to ask if she was okay or not, just sniped at her to move her bike out of the way because the back tire was less than half over the line into their lane and she wasn't moving quickly enough. I understand wanting her to move, but geez, they had room. Why not give a person a break, especially if you don't know their skill level? Sorry for the rant. I get a bit defensive because I know what my daughter is dealing with just to get out there at all.
Dumb me, I forgot to stop my activity tracker when we drove home, so it added another 10 miles or so to the distance we rode, and gave me a great time! Hahahaha!
Going to ride again in the morning. Solo. And again on Monday, with a group from the running/riding group I'm part of. I've been promised that my non-racing bike and I will not be left in the dust like I was the last time I rode with some riders from the group because a lot of these particular riders are relative newbies. I hope my friend is right because I really don't relish the idea of driving 20 miles to ride by myself when I can do that just as easily from my place.7 -

Tonight was a good win for me - there was a birthday dinner out with friends and last night I pre-tracked my choices so I knew what I had to do for the rest of the day to work around it. Happy with how it went!7 -

Apple rings closed: 3/31
Today was a bit of a challenge for me. For one I slept until 11am so getting my 12 up/downs for the Apple rings had to be managed carefully but I made it. The other challenge was that we went to a small dinner party at a friends house so I had to manage my food intake. I ended up having only steak, asparagus and some wine which allowed me to stay within my calorie limits.6 -

July 3 was a good day. Walked for an hour while watching my favorite terrible tv show at the moment. Tracked everything and stayed in the range. My additional challenge this month is to eat no dessert. So that was a yay as well. 2/3 days of no dessert. Oh and 0/3 pass days but it's still early 😆6

Slow to report, but I made it through July 3rd. Did go out to dinner and tracked everything as well as one can in a restaurant that has new daily menus and no nutritional info. Fortunately, I'm pretty experienced at this from my numerous years in WW. I was actually solidly under for the day. Weather was terrible and time was limited so exercise was going up and down the two towers of the condo building in laps. Three yes for the 3rd. Today, the 4th is actually going to be harder than the going out to eat, but tomorrow normal again. That's acceptable to me.7

I am glad your daughter didn’t get hurt but why such insensitivity to others? That’s the question I always think of if we all showed a little more kindness well you fill in the blank….

While the above looks positive, my food choices were not remotely healthy, even though I managed to stay under in calories.

@chanstriste13 - That was a great walk. The popcorn isn't a problem if it's plain, but I hear ya about the soda.
@Higa2021 - Well done. I often have to walk indoors at night to get my steps in.
.... And Well done on 3 x Yes. Keep it up.
Kudos to those who managed to stay under goal despite birthdays, 🇺🇸 4th July 🇺🇸 Celebrations et al. Not easy to do.
@Mrs_Hoffer - I don't do that well, either if I'm late eating. But at least you had a gorgeous day with your family.
