Pass day 4.
I tracked and was active but my husband turned up with a bottle of red wine after I'd used up my calories.
I'll still stay on here and try not to have any more pass days but no winners circle for me this month.4 -
Exercise: Walk in Central Park ๐ณ with a friend. Talked him into the 6 mile loop and I ended up with 9 miles for the day.

As others have said, moderation is a key component for me. For the 21st, I had pizza for lunch, but then my friend and I went out to dinner and went to a salad place (not exactly low calorie salads, though ๐ ). I felt happy and satisfied though. I also need to log daily and get in some type of movement to keep me in a good mindset.4 -

@SummerSkier I missed UAC when I took a month break too. I can control myself much better with reporting in. Congrats on having 0 pass days so far, good luck to the rest of the month ๐ค๐ฅ

@mshawski I also learned this! Before, I would always wonder, what am I going to do next? Because it didn't seem right to get back to my old habits after losing my target weight. Now I know what I should do when I hit my goal. I really wish a fast recovery to your son! And good luck with your plans ๐ค๐ค๐.

We're in heavy smoke from the fires, so I'm hunkered down at home. No exercise, and I ordered takeout for dinner. I worry about the people and animals that are close to the fires, and my heart aches.

I've learned so much from UAC. How to eat better and focus on being healthy is more important than losing weight fast. Having something as simple as drawing a calendar to keep me motivated and do better. Answring yes to all questions means being active every day, which is something I never did before. And there are many more that I've learned. Right now I'm much healthier than any time in my life thanks to UAC.

UAC has taught me a lot but the one thing I will take with me is consistency!! I was pretty erratic when it came to exercise...now I schedule in 20 minutes everyday to just do something. With it scheduled I tend to put in more but it's knowing I only have to do 20!!!4 -

I forgot to check in yesterday โ I was so tired after a few days away.
So, Fridays report:
I did get lots of walking done again, but tracking was a miss again.
5 pass days taken I think?
What have I learnt from MFP and UAC? I have joined other challenges before I found UAC and I found that checking in with a group at least once a week is really helpful โ a bit like WW or other groups. UAC is every day which means no slacking! Iโve also found the support from complete strangers really moving.
