Yesterday was a planned Pass day as I celebrated my birthday with my family. My actual birthday was August 13, but yesterday was an evening event put together by my daughter.

Did I exercise today? You bet, 9 minutes yoga and also a few walks, one was almost an hour.

I've learned that I almost have to treat this pursuit as a hobby.. logging onto here is just something I make time for in the day and being engaged engaged the community is a bit part of keeping me on track. Accountability and check-ins motivate me!8 -

And I thought I made some healthy choices. Ah well.
What have I learned? Never give up. I'm off to bed early tonight. I am drifting off. And maybe it will be easier to get up in the morning. Not sure if I'm going to ride or run. I think run. I might start out with a group who will run 10-15 miles in the time it will likely take me to do 5 (if I get that far, but it will be nice to see some of them again). Then ride on Sunday.6 -

Out for a family lunch & went over.
My beach walk was a little bit grey today but still beautiful.
Out of the winner’s circle for this month but will continue to post.
I’ve got a few things on for the rest of the month, so making my goal for the remainder is to concentrate on my Exercise as my priority.

Pass day 4.
I tracked and was active but my husband turned up with a bottle of red wine after I'd used up my calories.
I'll still stay on here and try not to have any more pass days but no winners circle for me this month.4 -
Exercise: Walk in Central Park 🌳 with a friend. Talked him into the 6 mile loop and I ended up with 9 miles for the day.

As others have said, moderation is a key component for me. For the 21st, I had pizza for lunch, but then my friend and I went out to dinner and went to a salad place (not exactly low calorie salads, though 😂 ). I felt happy and satisfied though. I also need to log daily and get in some type of movement to keep me in a good mindset.4 -

@SummerSkier I missed UAC when I took a month break too. I can control myself much better with reporting in. Congrats on having 0 pass days so far, good luck to the rest of the month 🤞🔥

@mshawski I also learned this! Before, I would always wonder, what am I going to do next? Because it didn't seem right to get back to my old habits after losing my target weight. Now I know what I should do when I hit my goal. I really wish a fast recovery to your son! And good luck with your plans 🤞🤞💜.

We're in heavy smoke from the fires, so I'm hunkered down at home. No exercise, and I ordered takeout for dinner. I worry about the people and animals that are close to the fires, and my heart aches.
