Another fantastic month! The Winner’s Circle is such a great accomplishment. For the month of July, these members have met the UAC goals of tracking, stayed under their target calories and exercised for no less than 28 out of the 31 days of July. Congratulations all, and be proud!

1st August
Hi all, awesome to be back, i had a fab day today. 30 min walk, calories under and tracked to a tee! Hope u enjoyed ur w/e & looking forward to reading ur goals for the month. Night all. Xox7 -
@donna25trinity Can you share more about this "complaints bracelet?"
I'm liable to post 2x today because while I'm on the computer now, I have family in town and am "drowning in love" as I told someone else I love lol
The 10,000 Swing Kettlebell Workout is not complicated but what fun would it be for me if I didn't make it so?Therefore, I've made myself a calendar that overlays...
* the KB workout (shadowed #)
* a 3-step hip rehab (to alleviate future groin issues)
* some body recomp goals.
This time around I'm using the 40 lb KB exclusively. 🗣️ Let the blisters begin!!
Finally, as I've done on the first of every month thus far, I'll list my accomplishments. With the help of UAC participation over the past month, I've been able to:
* run 10km in under 59 min
* reach my goal weight range
* lose 1.0% body fat

@Mrs_Hoffer Thanks!!!
1 -
@tahm42 if you're using a phone or tablet, you can find the check mark in the emoji sections of your keyboard app. Otherwise copy/paste is your best bet, as well as looking up emojis on emojipedia at
https://emojipedia.org/
and copying from there.4 -
I think I got something?
Ok that was big!!!
I'll keep trying!10 -
Aug 1
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes - my apple watch has given me a goal of 10.1 miles per day walking and running.. A stretch goal but I have done it before.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes - prelogger here because it helps me figure out how much MORE I can have. LOL
Now for August! Today is the first day! What will this month bring and how do you plan to take it on?
Birthday month! LEO here. Apparently in Tx and my counties, August 2021 is bringing to us the Covid Delta Variant in a neighborhood near you. I hope to avoid this one as I have avoided it for over a year. As part of that plan I have requested to work remotely again while the locale is spiking. I certainly don't mind being at work when the risk is low but right now, according to all the data I can see it is pretty high risk.
Welcome to all the new and old members... let's ROCK it!9 -
Congratulations everyone in the winners circle for July! Excellent achievement.
Day one successful. Logged and under, exercise was both a sample of dumbbell exercises and week 2 session 2 couch to 5k. I don't want to push myself too much whilst breastfeeding and so I'm keeping the runs light.
Extra goal for this month I'm going to be trying to listen to some mindfulness meditations each day.8 -
I'm pre-logging dinner this evening and will update if anything deviates from the plan. I doubt there will be any issues as I'm looking forward to it and should be plenty full afterwards!
August goals in spoiler...My August goals will be the standard 3 UAC goals plus the following personal daily challenges:- Keeping daily net carbs below 30g since I plan to keep myself in ketosis throughout August.

- Eating 5 or more servings of fruits/vegetables per day (I include coconut in this count).

- Eating back no more than 30% of my exercise calories per day.

Pass day 1
It's my birthday so I indulged and didn't track. Back to work tomorrow.10 -
Today I decided to enjoy the last day of July before settling into a really successful month of August as planned. My inlaws took us out to breakfast, I treated myself to Starbucks which I rarely get anymore, and I took a rest day. I was really excited to start August strong. Tomorrow.
Then around 3pm I looked at my phone and realized it was not July 31st. It was, in fact, August 1st. So… that’s a really disappointing start to me regaining my focus in August. Ugh.
Completely unintentional Pass Day #1 since I thought it was still July 🤦🏻♀️. I promise I’m actually smart, I just rarely seem like it. 🤦🏻♀️ So now I’m feeling like that person that keeps saying they’re going to start tomorrow and never does.
Goals for August:
- Winners Circle
- Reinstate 1 rest day per week (can be walking or gentle yoga)
- Keep fiber and protein intake up with sodium intake down
- KNOW WHAT DAY IT IS 😑9 -

Happy happy birthday! 🎊🎈🎂2 -
@donna25trinity - I too am curious about the complaints bracelet!
@MaltedTea - I love your calendar. So organized. It makes my heart happy when things are organized.
@SummerSkier - Leo’s! 🙌🏻🦁
Congrats to all the Winners Circle members! 🎊❤️🥇1 -
August 1st:
✅ Tracked all my calories
✅ Stayed under calorie goal
✅ Exercised more than 20 mins (walked in place)
1/1 days
0/3 pass days used
Still feeling in a bit of a funk, but forced myself to get up and do some walking in order to start the month off right!7 -
A new month, new hopes.
However, as I am still on holiday I haven't tracked my food and drinks properly so i can't be sure of my calories.
I didn't get a bike ride but I did get a swim and some walking done. Nearly 2 hours in the pool, much of it playing with or watching non-swimmers. It still counts as exercise.
First pass day
Going home tomorrow, will be back to tracking and eating sensibly.7 -
August 1st
Yes to all questions.
Pass Days: 0/3.
Calories to burn: 52,360, yesterday: 50,050 ( because I had the last day of July as a pass day).
My goals this month are simple yet hard:
- Be within the winner's circle.
- Walk 10k every day.
Welcome to all new members and congrats to July's winners.
May we all have a perfect month😁💪 .
Goodnight to you all 💜💛.

0/3 pass days.
Tracked logged exercised. Completed a short workout with my 4kb medicine ball at one point I felt like a fool on the floor but I kept going! My son looked at me like really mom?? I told him that maybe I could get a “6” pack when this month was done!! I did continue to move through some of the easier exercises and finished off with spin and a nice roller massage ahhhh now let’s see what 8/2 brings my net carbs were over my total carb count by 1.76 -
Sunday 1st August;
Exercise: 30 minutes walk ✅
Tracked calories: yes ✅
Stayed under calorie goal: No ❌

CONGRATS 🎉🍾 to all those in the Winner's Circle for July! Huge Kudos to you all!
@donna25trinity @thabit11 , and @ashleycarole86 Great additional monthly goals! 🥂 Here's to a brand new month and starting over!
@SummerSkier I totally get it about WFH during this "spike" in cases! I'm going to check and see if I can do that as well. Just when I thought things were starting to get better. Ugh.
@Geneveremfp Excellent first day! Woot!! Mindfulness Meditation is an excellent goal as well!4 -
Yes, yes and yes
Glad to be back on track after traveling.
Goal for August is to settle into my normal healthy routine with minimal deviations.7 -
@WhatMeRunning Your stats are always very inspiring!! Great first day!
@mshawski At first, your post had ME confused! I thought, "wait, what?" Lol. You must have a lot going on! My DH who has recently retired, is ALWAYS confused about what day it is. It seems that almost everyday he'll say "gosh, this seems like a Friday to me", and I always have a wise crack for him..... EVERYDAY seems like Friday to him! I hope you get it sorted out!
@TwistedSassette I know the feeling. There have been many times that I have had to MAKE myself get up and take those first steps.... because I certainly didn't want to! Eventually I'm very glad that I did it.3 -
@lesdarts180 I'm glad that you're able to have such fun with your little "non-swimmers!" They certainly don't stay little very long!
@snowshoe072 Your medicine ball slams never cease to fascinate me! Your arm strength must certainly be increasing!
@Healthymumlife You're here, and you're posting! That's awesome! The rest will come!3 -
