I've had some personal tragedies, and have been eating like a hog, drinking, and laying around depressed. Except when I'm working.
I'm ready to get back to good, healthy habits, and embrace life. I'm so grateful that you all are here.

Well, I am back in NY now but had a wedding to go to right when I got back, lol. Not the best way to start off the new month but the 1st was a pass for me. Waaaayyyy over calories and I didn't even bother tracking all the tapas I had at the wedding not to mention drinks. Oh my!
I've ordered a bunch of frozen fruits and veggies to start off a smoothie kick on Tuesday. Also, starting my weight lifting program back up the same day as well.
I've also come to the realization that I'm really happy with my current weight. I feel good in my clothes and am happy with my body. Even though I feel like I should probably lose a few more pounds (based on what I weighed in the past), I no longer feel a sense of urgency to lose them and will be fine if I don't. I'm thinking about switch my focus more to adding muscle.6 -

When the kids were little and I was at the store with all three of them, I overheard the cashier tell them "Well, there's no doubt in anybody's mind who your mommy is." Which got laughs from others in the line and eyerolls from the kids. So, yeah, much to their chagrin, they all look like me. My daughter that lives with me, the one in the Ronstadt shirt, prefers to have her hair almost platinum blonde so she looks different from the rest of us. Thanks to COVID and other things, she hasn't been a blonde in months and is counting down the days until she can become one again. Much like me counting down to having auburn hair again some day. The little one, in the Doctor Who shirt, prefers her hair auburn/red and is often told she's my clone. My son just looks like a masculine version of us. Apparently, my unknown family's genes run strong. Hahahah!2 -

Hello Trimstones! Hope everyone had a good day!!
Exercise: Yes. Today was my running rest day. I went to Planet Fitness and did my weight circuit. I timed it and it actually turned out to be 20 minutes! It was a beautiful day so I went out for a walk after for three miles at a comfortable 16 minute-ish pace.
Log: Yes, even the sweet and low packets and the sticks of gum. Tedious!
Under: Yes, but I did a little better today with getting my calorie count up a bit.
Great weigh in today! I lost 3.6 lbs after a disappointing .6lbs last week. I changed nothing. ???
Tomorrow I will be attempting a 4 mile run for the first time, which I am dreading...I am going to be kind to myself though and if I need to walk in some spots I won't consider it a failure.2 -
