I have been having migraines a lot. Messing with my routine! Grrrr. Got in my Burpees last night. Going to do some again tonight. Did not ride last night. To rainy.

I was in the office yesterday....did get to the mall for a brief walk. It was a super busy day. This week feels really overwhelming.
Realized I have slacked on logging food...likely contributing to my up weight lol....need to get back to that.

Karen, you should really join our No Burpees Club. Shelley keeps trying to get us to do these and...well, it's a NO GO!!! for Paula and me. Hoping I can get Kathy to join us, too!!
Doing a lot of bottom sitting this week. I am seeing my trainer tomorrow, and she's not gonna be happy with me, that's for sure. Knee and calf is getting better, tho.

Karen...join the No Burpees Club, girl!!! Burpees are the most UN-fun exercise on the planet earth! It's true!! I read it somewhere...or dreamed it...or??
No workout today...we will get together on Monday. She wants to give everything more rest time. So, I am a bottom sitter for the next three days, at least.

I tried that chair exercise video and only lasted two minutes. Is it that hard? Or am I that out of shape? Probably the latter. It's nice to have something that doesn't mess with my knees. Gonna try it some more to see if it gets any easier. Thanks.

Paula I love the chair workouts. My mom can do them with me. I stand mostly. But I don't have issues with knees or ankles/feet. My mom loves Daisy. She is older and plays good music mostly. Check out her other ones. And it will get easier. And you can get a good workout doing them.
Rocky, my mom and I went walking last night. My mom used her scooter. We had to wait for it to get cool enough. But it was worth it. I will post a photo of the scenery later.

Nice going everyone. I did nothing much yesterday. A little walking and shopping with my mom. She needed to shop. A simple shopping trip takes longer with her. She enjoys getting out so much. And you never know what she really wants. So in the long run it is easier and more satisfying to do it together. I do apologize to everyone she runs over.

This might be fun if you can't make it outside to walk. I can't seriously walk, yet...ankle issues from my 'tripping' exercise 13 days ago and it's making me crazy.

Chris she goes over the 30 minutes! And if I can do it all the way to the end my shoulders will be on fire! Not sure I like the music. Might be ok to get out of my comfort zone though. She does do some reaching to the floor where I might just collapse and not get back up.
I like it overall though. I like the motivation captions.
Kathy how is everything going with your mom?

Been riding with hubby and his dog Barney. Barney is doing good. Still doing chair exercises with mom and Gloria. Then burpees. Have a baby shower tomorrow.

My mom is staying positive and preparing for her surgery. We have pre-op on Wednesday and the actual surgery/biopsy on Thursday. My brother came home yesterday to be here for her birthday and spend time with her. He has to go back home and heโs returning on the day of surgery so he can stay with dad. We are having a zoom call today to celebrate her birthday. One of my nieces organized it. I think mom will get a kick out of it.
Iโm hoping the rules donโt change here so I can be with her while she is hospitalized. Georgiaโs Covid numbers are rising so it changes everyday. Last week w there could be two visitors but now weโre down to one from 7 to 7 with no switching out. Iโm praying it doesnโt change to 0. Iโve always been with her through any hospitalizations.
BTW thank you Shelley for the birthday card. That was so sweet of you. I explained to her you were one of my โfitness sisters.โ So now I know why Paula asked for contact info.๐ค

Kathy - So glad you and your brother are getting some good time in with Mom before surgery. Sending lots of positive energy and prayers your way! Fingers crossed you will get to be with her in the hospital....cases are rising here too ;(

Momโs birthday Zoom call was wonderful. My niece did a great job with a wonderful slideshow. We had laughs, jokes and a few tears. Mom loved it!!! My brother is returning home to Huntsville today but is coming back Wednesday to help out with Dad while I take mom to hospital. It feels good to have more support. Itโs been almost overwhelming. Hereโs a couple of pictures for you my friends.
