Paula I am also in. When are we starting?
I did a new Yoga chair workout with my mom last night. It was a blast. And I loved the 4th song. (maybe 3rd) One Less Day (from Dyin' Young) Posting it below for anyone who would like to give it a try.https://youtu.be/D7hrDkbXHxk

Paula day 1 of challenge complete. It took me awhile to find it and add it to my list. Now I am able to have it on my television.

I lost my last cat and fostered a pair of kittens from a feral colony. When it came time to return them, I couldn't so, two new babies.

Karen0 -
Karen...can you split your rain with us??? Just send some of it my way...
Paula...cute kitties.
60 min workout w/my trainer this afternoon. Managed a mile yesterday and a mile Thursday before it got too dang hot here in northern California!!Supposed to hit 99 around 4:00. I'll do a mile and a little tomorrow morning...if I get out of bed during the cooler morning.

I finished moving a large bookcase and pantry to close off an area for the kittens, tax return stuff, and scheduling dead trees removal. And was to start the challenge, when the power and internet went out for a couple days. Today was another whirlwind of chores. Hope to start tomorrow.
Thinking of Kathy's family and wishing them the best every day.
Take care, all. :flowerforyou:

Paula that is awesome. You rock. So happy for you. Love the new kittens. Sorry for the loss of the other one. So hard to lose our fur babies. I have been doing your challenge 4 times a week. How are you doing at it?
Kathy thanks for the updates. And the inspiration. And I have been eating ice-cream as well. Sneaky stuff.
Karen that salsa looked so tasty. I need to make some.
Chris I should walk more also. But since I got my new bike all I want to do is go riding. And it is hot and smoky here. I so hate the smoke.
Been snacking way to much ladies. But I am still biking and working out with my mom. And doing Paula's short challenge. This weekend I am going to start having my granddaughter over and work on her lifting weights. The same granddaughter that I taught to ride a bike a couple of years ago. Should be inspiring for me also.

Shelley,
I've been doing the challenges every other day now. I did your chair workout today (but standing up dancing instead of sitting down) and you're right "one less day" is the 4th song.
It was kind of stunning to lose all three cats in three years. Having the kittens fall into our laps helped. They are all feral, so not cuddly like your ragdoll. But crazy as all get-up and sweet as the dickens. And learning to be happy and love us.The orange tabby is Tigger (male), largest of the litter. The grey tabby is little Sherpa, the female. She's actually a torby (tortiseshell-tabby) because she has some stripes that start gray and end up orange, orange tummy-spots, and 1 orange & 3 gray socks.
Their father was an orange tabby, their mom a beautiful longhaired calico. The kittens are disease-free despite the fact that both parents had FHIV and are gone now.Lisa who caught them called the mom "furball" and was amazed that she could raise such beautiful kittens. Lisa kept two and gave the other two to me.
prayers and hugs :flowerforyou:

@PaulaKro that is so wonderful that you were able to get them. And wonderful that they do not have the FHIV like their parents. It sounds like the kittens will not be feral for long. I did not know that all of your other kits were so ill. I remember you mentioning one was ill. My Joey is getting really old also.
5 months and he will be 16.
I am glad you checked out the chair yoga. My mom loves it. I will keep doing the challenge with you also.
Not as smoky today as yesterday. So glad for that. They opened up the corporals position at the court house. I do not want it but will help my friend Angie study for it again. I just am not sure how long I will stay employed here.
