What is an escape room?
@Bemybestby60 An escape room is where you are placed in a room with a set number of other people, and you have to find clues and do puzzles to find the key to get out of the room.

My step-grandmother Audrey died today. I didn’t get a final goodbye, in that on my last visit with her, I wasn’t expecting her to pass on, not like this, so soon. Last week was rough. I just don’t know what else to do. My coping mechanisms for stress bring temporary relief.2 -

Hang in there. I have lost 2 family members in the last 3 months. I go for a walk or journal my feelings. Maybe that will help.

@southgirl94 I'm so sorry for your loss.
It's never easy. I got to say goodbye to my grandma (7 years ago in Sept and I drove 10 hours to do it), but I lost my mom in April and I didn't get to say goodbye. That's much harder.
My mom was adamant that we all get together for Easter (which I thought was stupid at the time, we're not religious), but my brother had just had a baby she hadn't seen yet and we all went, despite thinking it was stupid. That was the last time I saw my mom and it kills me that I almost didn't go.
Take care of yourself. It's not fair and its not easy but not taking care of yourself won't help. I learned that.0 -
