9/27:
Missed a few days so I will summarize...
Took two rest days last week, body just needed a break, but got in 61.73 miles on the bike (Thurs thru Sat, including a 27 mile ride Saturday morning).
Food was good with protein over 100 grams everyday, did have a couple of higher carb days but nothing above 160 grams.
Last week of the month - time to push thru!2 -
Keeping on track. Had lunch with a friend today so I could only get 60 minutes in on my Elliptical before. But came back and did another 60 minutes. More than my usual 99 minutes straight. Its still coming off,
193.6 lbs today!
9/26/21-192.8 lbs Down 62.2 lbs since 9/14/20, 47.7 lbs since 5/3/21! Just got into size 14 jeans and they are a bit loose too!3 -
DANG. I think I need to get next month's challenge together sometime.0

I haven’t been as active the last two days due to being a bit busier at work and am feeling some stress. Yesterday I started cravings sweets and carbs in the evening likely due to that stress. I reminded myself I didn’t need it and ignored that inner devil. Today was better but I’m under-eating a bit during the day and then ate more than I should have tonight. Granted, it was salad and chicken but I still overdid it and am feeling too full a few hours later. Finding that balance is harder than I thought.2 -
9/27:
Rest day so no bike ride, did do push-ups and lunges thru the day for some exercise.
Food good - protein 135 grams and carbs 145 grams net.
9/28:
Rode the bike for 17.8 miles @ 13.7 mph average (78 minutes total ride time).
Food was good until I grabbed the PB last night... still managed to stay under maint, so that was a minor win in my book.
Will be joining the new challenge later today... gotta think on my goals.0 -
9/30:
Rode 17.82 miles yesterday @ 14.0 mph avg (my first 14 for the year!)
Food was good - protein 147 grams, carbs at 147 net grams1 -
193 min since Sunday to close out the month. I swapped out my summer clothes for winter and tried on a few things. Happy to report better fit in all my pants. Sweaters always fit LOL.
On to October!1 -
September Final
food - I did really good keeping to the poverty days the last couple weeks and the month as a whole. I did manage to lose a pound, and that's mostly about the food, but I kind of suspect there's a bit more loss in there unfortunately the timing with Lucifer's Waterfall means that it will likely be about 5 more days before all this monthly trash is settled and I can get a "real" current weight...for now my actual scale weight is right where it was at the start of september, but I definitely have more visible abs this past week, so there's more fat loss hiding in there IMO.
exercise - TOTAL WIN - I did finish out the 90 days, then had originally planned to extend that an extra week, but, joints started getting all tweaky so instead I opted for a recovery week the last week, dropped all the weights and intense cardio routines, switched them up for extra walking, and just took it kind of easy...joints are feeling better and I'm totally ready to bring it in the new month.
alcohol - this was good...had some weekend drinks from time to time and the occasional whiskey wednesday, but overall definitely cutting back.
I'm excited for how the month went and looking forward to a new routine!2 -
9/29-9/30
I finished off the month feeling pretty good about things in general. I checked weight at the start of the month through this morning and was down 4.2 so no complaints there. I have been bouncing around a bit this week but I’m trying to keep it in perspective and not go on calorie lockdown. I’m enjoying Noom and following the guidance so will finish the subscription out through late October and see how it goes. 7 pounds to goal weight but I think I’m hitting that plateau so I may end up maintaining. These are really vanity pounds as @baconslave likes to say. Happy October everyone!1 -
September wrap-up:
Weight - down 6.7 lbs
Exercise - biked 309.14 miles, walked an average of 7250 steps per day and did 900 push-ups for the month
Food - averages 122 grams of protein and 140 grams of net carbs per day (both right in the sweet zone)
All in all, a good month. Had a couple of weekends that went off the rails, but no lasting damage done. Will be monitoring that this next month to make sure it doesn't happen again.0
