Susan. I love your costume. You will make a great Alice. Thank you for sharing it with us. I think they say, “break a leg.” Please don’t do it literally.
Praying for all your stress & Colin may you feel, God’s arms around you both.
Linda. I did not make the dress the material, is like silk, & HH got, it in Hong Kong. Amy HH mom, gave me 2 silk scarves & once I even took it to school to let the kids see it when the teacher talked about silk worms.
I don’t see but hand. I knit & crochet that is the talent God gave me.
Congrats on your weight loss thank you for explaining what TOPS is.
Prayers for Glenn too
Judith. So glad that you have maintained an ounce. Praying you gain maybe another.
I thought I read that you see the dr earlier. If so,I m glad. Praying that happens.
I wore loafers today & taped my 2 toes together. Hoping since we are introduced to the church as new members that I can wear other shoes. Time will tell.
Thank you for all the prayers. God is good!
Another crash where I a. From so prayers for all the ones involved. Sean Duffy as he looks into it & all the families who lost family members.
Oh PTL our snow is pretty much gone! Just a bit here & there and the piles.

We are on High Alert, Weather Warning with having a major Snow storm, starting now right through the weekend into next week. We have High Winds now and temps ranging from 0 degrees Celsius to minus 9 degrees Celsius. I posted details on our Weather Thread. The Snow will be billowing everywhere and with snow and freezing temps we could have icy roads as for several days we had Heavy Rainfall and now with Freezing 🥶 Temps, Snow and High Winds it will be dangerous on the roads.
Susan, love the picture of you as Alice in Wonderland, you look fabulous in your costume. I look forward to hearing all about the play and maybe more pictures of everyone. So glad Colin is determined to be at the Matinee to see the Play. Glad he is resting before attending. So glad your school friend Ian came to visit,I’m sure you had heaps to talk about. My prayers continue for Colin and for you Susan.
Barb, so sorry about your toe, the picture shows how bruised it is. So sorry you stubbed your toe. Hope it heals quickly for you. Mariposa is so sweet in the pictures, such a beautiful smile!
Linda, so glad you are finished with the Hip clinic. And congratulations on your weight loss. Good Job my friend. You said you were typing in the bedroom with piles of blankets around you. I am sure you feel all cozy with the blankets wrapped around you. A nap sounds good. And reading a book too, all good! I have extra blankets on my bed as it is cold in here. With the wind and temps down I can feel it in here.
Take care all. Don’t forget I have already posted your New Team Goals for February. Hope to see you join me tomorrow.
It’s my bedtime now, so it’s Good Night 😴 Sweet Dreams 🛌 be back tomorrow! 🙏🤗0 -
Susan. Prayers as I’m sure you are busy maybe the performance is over if not break the leg.
Prayers for Colin & you. Plus wisdom for the. Cardiologist when you see him.
Linda. Prayers for Glen & you. Hope your day is going well
Judith. Sorry about the cold. My sister, Sandi sent a picture of snow in Victoria. I had to laugh that is what I’m all a dusting. No one gets excited about it. If you can still see your grass, the snow is nothing. My snow is all gone, but piles. The sidewalks are walkable so nice & easy walking.
I am waiting for you to post so can as I only see the announcements.
Prayers to hear about your neck & 2/13.
I’ll post the snow in Victoria.
I hope I can wear my regular shoes as we get introduced to our church as new members tomorrow.
Prayers for a great weekend and Lords day tomorrow.

Barb, that IS a light dusting of snow. But it is more than we get here. Ever. It never snows in our town. I hope you can wear shoes to your new church. If not, your introduction will be memorable!
Judith and Linda, it sure sounds freezing where you are. Glad you know how to stay warm and cosy. I love the sound of your blanket den, Linda!
The play is over. Colin came to both performances. There will be pictures but I don't have them yet. My houseguest friend took the one of me. I can't take pictures from on stage 😃 but we had great audiences at both sessions, probably 400 people in all. We got great feedback and they were suitably impressed! It was good fun. It's nice to be able to be part of something that isn't smutty and crass. We made jokes but they were clean jokes! Lol! Imara came to the matinee. She was afraid of me in my make-up and costume but eventually recognised me and all was well!
Church today.1 -
Susan sounds wonderful.singles all went well & Colin made it both performances.
I imagine Australia does not see snow. I wonder if Judith got more snow.
After 26 days of having snow I rather not see it for sometime.
Linda keep warm. We are to be 60* tomorrow it will get colder of course after all intake winter.
The sound of your deb sounded neat & warm. Did you have hot cocoa to go with it?
Judith. Praying for you.
I can wear my Sunday shoes at least when I tried them today.
One honey neighbor at the rehab today with her hubby. She is 33 years old & has cavernous so cannot stand walk etc. that is what she ya in for. Pray as she is a Buddhist. She’s from Thailand.
Pray I can be a witness I don’t know much about her religion. Other than Buddha is their god, & he’s dead.1 -
Susan, I look forward to your pictures. So happy the Play went well and was well attended. I am glad to hear Colin was able to attend both Matinee’s. I am sure he enjoyed. And yes it’s so nice you can have a Play and Jokes that are Clean and Pure content. Wish I could of been there to see it. So cute the initial response with Imara when she first saw you and didn’t recognize you with the make-up and costume, made me smile and chuckle 🤭
Barb, thank you for sharing the picture of your Sister’s lawn “sprinkled” with snow ❄️ sorry for sprinkled word, but that isn’t much snow at least right now, I have seen Victoria with mega snow and you don’t se any lawn showing thru. The forecast says mega snow and freezing temps. Hope Victoria and we here don’t get the storm like we had last year. So glad you found shoes you can wear that don’t hurt your toe. I will pray for you as you witness to the lady you met who is a Buddhist.
So far we are safe, not the snow the forecast is calling for but in some places in BC is mega but the cold freezing 🥶 temps are here. Will be wearing my “woollies” to bed tonight! 😆
0 -
It was cloudy all day today. We do not have any moisture in the forecast and the temps are gradually getting warmer. I know this will not last long and we will be back in the freezing temperatures again. We did take a walk this afternoon but I mainly stayed in the house getting ready to have church tomorrow. I had to bake some more communion bread this afternoon and then had cleaning to get gone. The kitchen floor always need to be mopped but I was able to just sweep the rest of the floors.
Barb - No, I did not have hot coco in bed. I might have spilled it as cozy and relaxed as I was. I did not take a nap but it was close. Another reason is that I am allergic to chocolate so I stay away from it. I agree with you that your sister did not have much snow. I am amazed at how green the grass is. Ours is an ugly brown since it is dormant. I am glad that you are able to wear your good shoes for church tomorrow. Taping the toes together does help keep the injured one from moving much. I will pray for your neighbor in rehab. Only God can change her heart but you can be his hands and feet in bringing the gospel to her and she has the choice what to do. All things are possible with God.
Susan - Are you relieved that the show is over? You certainly had a lot of work put into writing and acting in it. Did Imara's whole family come to see the play? I am glad she was able to recognize you before the play started. Was Colin pretty tired from going to the matinee?
Judith - I am glad you have not gotten the snow that was predicted. Glenn said the weather report described your cold weather as a "river" coming down from the cold Artic. He says it will go North of us so we will not get the moisture but we might get the winds. I hope you stay warm with your "woollies"
on. It is hard to sleep when it is cold in the bedroom.
Marilyn - Let us know if you got any snow from the storm this weekend. It is interesting how different parts of the country get different amounts of snow and even some get none. It can be spotty in amounts.1 -
Judith
Have you posted the link to post our maintenance and prayerfully you gain in weight?
I just see the announcement.
Have a blessed Lord's day!!1 -
We did not get snow as Judith did but we really have been hit with the cold. But we really can't complain as it is February and our city really has not had any snow to speak of - though the mountains/hills around us are covered
Am struggling a bit with eating - from Sept through Dec I lost 14 pounds and now I have gained back 4 which is upsetting. Think it is to do with stress. Also have taken to drinking ginger ale and that really packs it on so as of today I am back to water.
Am stressed/concerned with what Trump is doing - I live in Canada, am proud to be a Canadian and don't plan to become an American - if that was the case I would move to the USA. Just that I prefer living here and staying Canada - so hopefully he will back off. But now to deal with the tariffs he is imposing - it is going to make things hard not just for middle class Canadians but I am sure US people are going to feel the pinch also. Would much rather see him building a better relationship with us than turning us against him. Wont say any more on this but am really concerned with what is happening to our world leaders.
Very good service today at church. Was on David and Jonathan - having a friend.
Well I am now going to sit back with my quilt over me, my sweater on and have a nap as I am feeling tired.

Colin has a couple of appointments today for his back and his Diabetes. He wasn't too well yesterday so we just went to morning service, which was a blessing.
Here's a picture I got of the women who played drunken sailors in the play.
I'm gradually collecting photos of the play, Judith. I have to rely on others publishing them to Facebook.
Linda, yes, I am both happy and sad that the play is over. I need a break and Colin is needing lots of tests done that I want to be with him for. The Singers are having a break till March but not Uke Jam. We met this morning for practice. I hope your weather doesn't get too warm too soon.
Marilyn, I hope you find peace and that you can turn around your weight loss. It's good to hear from you.
Barb, hope church was wonderful yesterday. Yes, witnessing is important and we never know what will happen. Only the Lord knows!
1 -
We had a fun house church this morning. We had breakfast brunch so had lots of good food. The eggs I used for scrambled eggs were some I had frozen when we had extra which came in very handy since the prices have gone up. The problem with frozen eggs is that the texture is a little changed and I think they look a little pink although someone said they did not see them that way. Anyway they taste fine. We also had french toast casserole, bacon, sausage, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, croissants and bagels with cream cheese and fruit. We talked about joy and how important it is that we make other people joyful by feeling that "I want to be with you" from each of us. People can tell if we want to be with them or if we are just there because we are supposed to be. We looked at a lot of scriptures about joy too.
Susan - I am glad that Colin is being seen for all of his diagnosis but I know it can really tire him out. I pray that his strength continues and that with each appointment, his body can heal a bit. I also pray for your strength as you accompany him. It always helps if Glenn is with me when I am at appointments that I am going to receive information and instructions. With the two of us listening, we catch what the other one may have missed so we get the whole picture. Some days it is hard to remember things when in pain or distress and you are the perfect helpmate for Colin. The drunken sailors are cute. For a second I though they had tattoos on their arms. I am praying for Jim and his severe pain. There are so many things that palliative care can do to make him more comfortable.
Marilyn - I know it is hard when working on weight loss and I have seen you be very successful. I know you will get back on track and the weight will come off again. Thanks for the update in your weather. Please stay warm and safe in the frigid weather you are having. It is good to hear from you.
Barb - I am glad that your shoes fit well and you were able to go to church. It is so nice of the church to have a welcome for you. It sounds like you have been really involved in the services and groups already. Any improvement on Anabella's reflux? I know it will take time for her to grow as she needs to. Is she still needing to use a bottle to supplement breastfeeding?
Judith - It sounds like you are not getting the storm that was expected yesterday but are in the midst of it today. I love to look outside the window at the "winter wonderland" but to get outside in the frigid cold is a whole different thing! I hope that you do not accumulate a lot of snow and have to deal with the snow like Barb did for weeks.
Glenn is in a zoom class he is teaching now but will be through soon. We ate quite a lot at the brunch so we did not have any dinner but I just had a protein smoothie for dinner and he had some fruit and croissants. He is asking for popcorn after his class is over so I need to get busy and get that ready. Have a great week!1 -
Susan. Prayers for Colin as he has appointments today for back & diabetes. Wisdom for drs.
I love the pics. Great costumes of drunken sailors! Your play must have been great. Too bad so far away for us to see. Thank you for sharing pics with us!
Marilyn sorry about the weight gain after the weight loss. Prayers. Nice to hear from you.
Linda. Thank you for the encouragement. With Bua being in rehab I won’t see her so I will just text her a few times a week just so she knows I’m praying. In time God will lead me & I need to be open. Friendship is first which we have but need to get to know her more.
We were 60* today & we are to be 61* tomorrow then a cold front comes in.
I could wear my Mary Jane shoes so I was pleased. My toe is really looking good.
I will be watching Mariposa tomorrow morning. So we will take a small walk. May stop and see a widower who lives real close to my son’s house that goes to our church.
Judith praying for you
My sister did send a better picture & they had a bit of a coating of snow. She says most of it melted but they might get more tomorrow. Please stay warm & safe there in Canada.1 -
Marilyn, yes we have snow ❄️ last night and thru the day we got our storm, we had winds and freezing temps and late this morning we had a heavy hailstorm mixed with snow. We also lost WiFi and Cable service. The power flickered with a quick break but we didn’t lose all of the power thankfully. So glad you didn’t get the snow up in your area but see you are getting plenty of cold temps, please stay warm my friend. Sorry about weight gain but know you will lose it again. I continue to keep you in prayer. So good to see you here today. Take care…
Susan, the picture of the drunken sailors made me LOL 😂 too funny but way too cute in those costumes. Let us know how Colin’s Diabetes and Back appointments were. Sorry he wasn’t feeling well yesterday. Happy you were able to attend morning service.
Barb, thanks for letting me know Victoria didn’t get much snow, I’m sure your Sister is happy about that. So glad your temps are warming for you. Happy yourbtoe is improving and you have shoes you can wear. Enjoy watching Mariposa.
Linda, it’s so nice to have a Home Church in your home, your Breakfast foods made my mouth water, especially biscuits and gravy, I are that dish a lot when I lived in the USA. The rest of your menu sounded so scrumptious. I am sure you had quite a buffet spread out for everyone. You mentioned you looked at a lot of the Scriptures on Joy: one that comes to me now is: The Joy of the Lord is my Strength. One that always spoke to me.
Blessings all, my prayers are with you all. See you all tomorrow! 🙏♥️📖✝️0 -
Judith
I can not find the link to post my weight. I hope you are maintaining your ounces. Prayers.1 -
I updated Prayer Requests with yesterday's news about Colin, Joe and nrohew's family.
We have an early GP appointment for Colin this morning so I need to get ready.
I'll give you a scene from the play showing one of the back drops we got from Temue.

It was a beautiful day with the temperature almost to 70's. People were walking around in shorts as if it were a cool day in the summer. I do know this warm weather will not last but I am enjoying it while it lasts. I am looking at my 'to-do" list and it does not look like I got much done but a few things are better than none for the day. We have a plumber coming on Thursday so I need to clean the bathroom and our bedroom that he will need to go through presentable. We have 3 leaking faucets, a slow draining sink and a shower handle that is very hard to regulate the temperature. Glenn like hot showers but when I try to make it cooler, it does not change the temperature with many small turns then it turns ice cold. There is not warm between hot and cold. That is no fun although it does wake me up and makes me take a quick shower.
Susan - I hope they can get Colin's insulin pump to work better with his heart failure. It is interesting to see how all the systems of our bodies work together and affect each other. The backdrop from Temu looks great. I have never ordered from them but I have friends who say that their prices are really good. I am sorry that I used the wrong name for your friend Joe yesterday but God knows who I was praying about. Prayers also for your nephew and family. Is your family crisis having any resolution?
Barb - Hoping your toe resolves quickly. Taking short walks with Mariposa is a good idea. You do not want to irritate the toe further. I am sure that she enjoys any time she can get outside with her Grandma.
Judith - I hope my menu did not cause you distress because you are unable to eat what we had. You said that your mouth was watering. Our dog does that too when she sees us eating something she wants but she does it so much that her saliva can get a bit messy. I will not go into details of her saliva "problems".
Marilyn - Any snow today? Praying for you to only drink water. That can get a little boring so some times I put orange or lemon or cucumber slices in it to give it a bit flavor but no calories.1 -
Well no snow yet though it is all around us. But it is so cold - shower stall in ensuite - the drain pipe has frozen but it is slowly draining - we need to make sure this get looked at before next years cold as it is not nice having that shower not working. Thankfully we have a second bathroom to shower in
Will be getting weighed tomorrow at my TOPS meeting - my scale says I am up and that is not good. Need to pray about it and look at what I am doing to make it go the wrong way.
Well, it is after 8 pm and wanting to watch Andy Taylor with Norm and Priscilla - we get to laugh lots when we watch the old reruns - to think little Opie (Ron Howard) was about 7 in the show and is not in his 70's -those were the days.
Stay warm everyone
1 -
We got more snow ❄️ today and it’s freezing 🥶 here.
It’s late all, sorry a lot going on today a lot of commitments for me to fulfill! No worries I am alright just tired.
Barb sorry I just realized I hadn’t posted our Weight loss/ maintenance thread for February!
It’s on there now. And yes I am as of today; 94.1 ounce pounds! No worries I will gain another ounce or two! Yes Yes…
Good Night All God Bless!1 -
Good morning afternoon or evening for Susan.
Thank you Judith. I kept looking everyday for the link.
Prayers for you.
Praying for you. Sorry about the snow. Sandi, sister did show us a pic of more snow there
Marilyn. I hope you can get your pipes thawed out. So glad for a 2 shower. Here in Kansas many houses do NOT have a basement so when we get cold ie single numbers in F they put a lot of info to keep, ones pipes so they do not to freeze. We have a basement & it’s heated.
You can leave your sink tub dripping over night, & keep your cabinet doors open to,let the heat in. Maybe these can help you. Praying.
Also, prayers you lose weight too. I drink. Lot of water & that is a good way to,maintain & loose weight.
Susan. Prayer for Colin with pump for insulin working. Praying for the flooding and your nephew & family.
Prayers for Joe too.
Yes please update us with the family situation too praying.
Linda
Well, it was not near 70 here yesterday but made it to 60* again and then the temps dropped shortly after lunch. Today we are back to normal temps.
I hope you can get your faucets fixed and all Thursday. Prayers as you last till then.
My toe is doing good and I hide I can wear my black ankle boots for the ladies Bible study this morning.
I am getting more canker sores in my mouth so I guess I need to take the tissue pills L-Lysine pills. I maybe sending a message again to my cardiologist. The chance of getting sores in one’s mouth is rare but has been down though my pharmacist didn’t see that when I asked her.
When I asked google I got google saying it’s possible.
Oh well. I’ll use chloraseptic.
Have a good day. I don’t see my cardiologist till May. I pray the L-Lysine may work till May.
Have a good day
1 -
Please pray for those of our sisters in Canada. Just got word from my sister, Sandi, who lives in Victoria, BC Canada. They have a snow day!
They have no snow plows to clear the streets.
So Judith & others may have it worse. Please keep them safe & warm Lord Jesus!0 -
My computer has been making duplicate files so I got with the person who does all the computer work after I get the students admitted. I found out that if I do not close a file and the computer reboots, the computer saves the old file and creates a new duplicate one that is a temporary one. Some files I use a lot so I leave them open but my computer had an update and automatically rebooted itself. I know now to close my files if I am not going to use them immediately to avoid duplicate files. I deleted all the extra files so now I do not get confused opening the wrong file. I am so glad that she knew what to do.
Marilyn - I am sorry that you have frozen pipes. I believe you had some frozen or nonworking pipes last year in the kitchen and maybe the bathroom too. So far we have not had that but as I said the plumber is coming tomorrow to fix the pipes we are having problems with. We do not have a basement to protect the pipes but we have a large crawl space under the house so the pipes are easy to get to. I also like the old shows that had clean fun and morals to teach children. Ron Howard is all grown up now directing movies I believe. He is actually a little younger than I am. I believe he was born in 1954.
Barb - we will be praying for your family in British Columbia and the snow they are getting. That is scary that they have no snow plows to clean the streets. If they get a lot of snow, will they just let it melt or will people need to get out and hand shovel it? I am glad your toe is doing well. I am sad that you have cancer sores in your mouth. I used to have them growing up and they are very painful. I hope they heal quickly and your cardiologist can help.
Judith - How much snow has accumulated on the roads now at your house? I don't remember if you have any appointments this week. I hope you can stay warm in your house for the time being and get your rest.
Susan - continuing to pray for your and Colin and the health issues he is facing. I hope you are getting some rest from the busyness of the weekend.

Hello all. We had a GP appointment for Colin yesterday. They have noticed unusual bruising so Dr asked for a coagulation blood test to see if it is due to changes in his.liver or kidneys. This extra possibility was something we didn't want to think about so we did have a few emotional moments yesterday. We tried to get in to two different blood testing places but he had to wait till this morning to get the blood taken. We won't get the results till the end of next week, after his stress test has been done too.
The family crisis is ongoing but I believe the family is sheilding us from it a bit due to Colin's health issues. It isn't likely to be resolved for a long time. A family member has dome mental health issues and it is affecting all of our relationships, yet we love this member very much and want nothing but the best to happen.
On to more positive things.
Here's some more about the play.
The Temu backdrop I showed you yesterday we ordered online. There's another one in this phoyo. The flats were painted by members of the production team/cast. Darren our leader has been a professional singer/actor/producer. I think our sound and light technician has had lots of professional experience too, and many of us have been amateur theatre people but not all. For some it it the first time they have done anything like this.
Singer/writer/actor/producer and friend, Darren dressed as the evil Queen's henchman while stealing poor Snow White's apple. Snow White is Marie, a lady who sings beautifully too.
The costumes are all beautiful because we have Cathy in the group. She has a garage full of dance costumes from her entertainment days with a group of dancers. For example, she had my costume in all sizes from 6 to 24.

Just finished working on the other threads at 11:55pm and see now it is 12:14am now so this gal is going to bed now. We had snow yesterday morning again and weather forecast is calling for more snow.
So I have to get to bed now. Read your posts but too late now to reply. Fill you in tomorrow!
Good Night 😴 God Bless… 🙏0 -
Good morning Judith. You did have a late night. I hope you are getting some good rest now.
It's a rainy day here and it feels cooler. That's a relief.
We talked to a friend last night who has lots wring with his heart and hecwas very positive and encouraging. We feel more like ourselves today.1 -
Thank you for the pics Susan. Prayers for Colin. So glad you had some friends that encouraged you.
Victoria did not have any more snow today but may get more.
Prayers forJudith & Marilyn. Plus the pipes of Marilyn.
Linda. I hope you got it all figured out praying.
So my cardiologist is away & I maybe trying some new meds & stopping my Simvastatin that I take for 8 weeks. My dr doesn’t work Wednesday . But I won’t take any tonight. That way we will know more.
We plan on going away mid March, so I hope all be ok. I will really need to eat healthy.
Stay warm all, Susan praying for the floods, family crisis & the heat there.
1 -
I will pray for you Barb you get the right medication and you will be well and strong when you go away in March. Are you going to one of your childrens homes to visit? Glad Victoria didn’t get anymore snow but hope they don’t get it tonight like we are having right now as I type. It’s cold too with temps minus 3 degrees Celsius and over night forecast says minus 9 degrees Celsius brr cold 🥶 Will pray for your sister that Victoria doesn’t get a severe snow storm. You asked a question about plows in a previous post, we don’t have a lot of snow removal equipment as we generally don’t get heavy snowfall like other parts of BC and other parts of Canada. We have plows but not a lot so they clean main roads but not many side streets.
Susan, yes I was up late but I did sleep well last night and didn’t get up quite as early this morning. I have been praying for Colin that he will soon hear the recommendations for his care and what Doctors are planning for Medications and anything else regarding his Cardiac Condition. Praying he stays strong. Also keeping Pastor
Benny in prayer and his family. Thank you for keeping us updated. I loved the pictures of all the costumes and the last picture of the Snow White Scene when the Apple was taken. So nice that you have Cathy who from her Dance and Music career has a garage full of costumes that she shares with all the group in their Plays you all do. I am sure it saves a bundle of expense, saving you from having to rent costumes which would cost so much.
Linda, so glad you figured out what was happening with your computer with all the extra files it was making. Good you know now you to close your computer when you are finished working so you are not dealing with duplicate files. You asked if Zi had appointments this week and were hoping I could rest and stay warm indoors especially with cold temps and snow. No appointments this week so Zi can stay home and be warm and rest up. Thanks for asking. My next appointment is on Thursday February 13th at 3:00pm for my Biopsy.
I logged on earlier tonight so I was able to work on our Threads and reply to your posts today.
Will be back Lord willing tomorrow. God Bless. 🙏🤗
P. S. It’s snowing ❄️ here tonight again and temps are right now at minus 2 but going down to minus 9 Celsius overnight!0 -
Today was another day in the mid 60's. I put an afghan outside on the clothesline and it smells so nice when I brought it back in. The laundry is done but I still have to do the folding.
Susan - so many things to pray for in your family. I understand your emotional feelings about Colin's bruising. It is difficult to wait for the results combined with the other problems he has. Prayers for calm and peace in your lives. I am also praying for pastor Joe and Buddy that God's will be done. Thanks for the explanation about the play and how you were able to have the costume that you had. It is fortunate your friend has so many costumes in so many sizes.
Judith - I hope your snow quits soon. I am glad that you do not have any appointments this week. I will be praying for your biopsy next week.
Barb - I am glad that your sister is not having any more snow. I will continue to pray for your cancer sores and your medication. It would be good to feel better on your trip in March.0 -
Thank you all for praying for us. We are feeling more calm about things today. Colin is even making jokes. Praise God!
It sounds like all of youvate locked in pretty cold weather. 🥶 It's hard to imagine, it being so hot and muggy here right now. Stay warm and snugly, all of you.
The floods in Far North Qld continue as the monsoonal trough is fired up. It slow moving so they are getting record breaking rain. Their roads are cut, supplies are running low, bridges have collapsed...our families and friends are accounted for but one friend's car got water through it yesterday in a King tide that hit while she was visiting her Dad (Pastor Buddy) in the hospital. King tides and floods cause disaster.
Praying for all the health issues each of us have
0 -
Linda
So you had the 60’s and us in the mid 40’s. It’s to be a cold weekend here.
Will you get any storms that are coming? We are to get some.
We use to have a clothes tree until our neighbors tree had a limb fall on it almost 2 years ago. I miss it at times. Was so nice to air out quilts, blankets eat. Enjoy. I use our deck or porch now.
Susan. Praying for you, Colin. So glad you are feeling better about it all. God will work it out in His time. His time is never as soon as ours.
Also, prayers for the flooding the pastors and family crisis.
Sorry about the heat. Wish we could get some of that & us give you some of our cold or snow storms. That be neat for you in Australia. A snow storm!
Judith. Prayers as the 13 is a week away.
Sure pray that the Drs can have more wisdom in treating you.
So the weekend is to get cold we also have a chance of some rain freezing or light snow Saturday. Then another snow storm Tuesday into Wednesday. We are being told maybe 4”. There is still some snow in the large snow piles we had.
My sisters & Mon had some snow today and may have more snow this weekend.
It’s winter. Oh well.
My neighbor who has Cavernoma ,a, who I want to witness to, and is a Buddhist. At be coming home Sunday. She & her hubby will stay with his dad for some time. So that is good.. keep, praying that I will be open to the chance to, witness & feel my Holy Spirit leading me. Thank you.
Prayers for all.1 -
Went to TOPS tonight and I maintained my weight. I had felt I really worked harder this week and hoped for another weight loss. I have a goal of loosing more before I have my doctor's appointment on the 19th. I still have another week to go so we will see how that goes. I noticed that I have been on MFT for 1300 day streak. I did not realize that I had been here for that long a streak.
Susan - I am glad that you have a bit more calm at your house. You certainly need a little break in your stress level.
Barb - we are not expecting any snow in the next week here in Grand Junction but Denver will be getting some. We will be going over there on the 12th and stay until the 26th. For sure there will be more snow over there.
Have a great weekend everyone.
