That’s great Susan you didn’t get the rain in your forecast but I am watching your latest Storm/Rain forecast: stay safe my friend

For us: many lost power here in BC: last night we were under another Heavy Rain strong wind 💨 warning. Thousands of homes lost power. Ferry service was cancelled last night. Still being cautious today. We have dark skies and rain!

We had tropical storms last night with thunder and lightning. It's the time of night storms. Some people list power but it is all back on this morning.

So glad no damage from the storm Susan.

Here we still have mega rain 🌧 in our area. The wind 🌬 has slowed down with is good. Temps are a high of 50 and a low of 43 degrees. The forecast for tomorrow says the temps will be 43 degrees for a high. Guess we will have to wait and see how our weather pans out!

Today we had periods of no rain but overall we had sporadic rainfall. The winds have calmed at least in my immediate area. Calm before the Storm, See Below: Temps are a high of 49 and low of 35 degrees. Sure felt the chill 🥶 today:

We are under another Weather Alert Warning:

    Description

Heavy rain and strong winds and expected on Saturday.

Where: Howe Sound and Metro Vancouver.

    When: Saturday.

Hazard / Impacts: -Localized water pooling on roads and reduced visibilities in heavy rain. -High winds may cause tree branches to break and lead to power outages.

Remarks: A frontal system will arrive on Saturday, bringing periods of heavy rain and strong winds to the south coast. Over Howe Sound and Metro Vancouver, light rain will start Saturday morning and become heavier near noon.

As precipitation intensity increases, snow levels could lower to near 150 metres resulting in heavy rain becoming mixed with wet snow over higher terrain of Metro Vancouver during the Saturday afternoon to evening period. Please be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

Total rainfall amounts near 30 to 50 mm are expected before the heavy rain tapers off to a few showers Saturday overnight.

Strong southeast winds gusting to 70 km/h will develop over areas the Strait of Georgia and Boundary Bay Saturday afternoon and then ease Saturday night.
