This group went from easy to communicate to being a hassle. I use my phone to check in with MFP. The UAC group (or any community item) is not even visible on my phone. So I am logged in with my computer right now. (on the computer, it will not let me bookmark our discussions either) Thankfully, they did not mess with the diary on my phone. I suppose that is next.

Change is always difficult especially if one is not tech savvy that includes me my theory if it isnβt broke donβt fix it butβ¦
I tracked logged exercises and stayed under its time for bed good night all or good morning depending on where you are in the world!
I have not had problems with my groups with my iPhone hopefully they wonβt mess with that. I never use the home computer for these challenges my phone and iPad have always worked well. I am not sure how I feel about this format guess it will grow on me.

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes, I didn't drink enough water though.
My fun includes my grandkids, watching them play sports, playing solitaire on my phone, reading, puzzles, researching for new recipes, watching football, listening to music, listening to podcasts, I think challenges are fun.

which joints hurt? could you do something like range of motion stretches of a different area for a bit? or do you mean every single joint hurts?

This is one of my Pass Days.

Exercise: π more than 20 minutes (a whopping 22 ,,, ) and with the lower food intake, fitbit STILL gave me a few exercise credits
Logged: π everything including the various types of cream filled cookies I had with my tea while visiting my mom
Under Target: π didn't even get up to touching the (30-some) exercise credits - even WITH an evening snack
What brings me joy:
walking outside in the sunshine (at noon of a workday)
my wii Walk-it-out exergame (It has brought me joy for more than a decade now ... maybe even almost 15 years by now
British murder mysteries (both on tv and in books )
newly discovered since covid started ... audio-book format
doing my "faux cross-stitch" (Cross-stitch World App) on my tablet .. while listening to a British murder mystery audio book
jigsaw puzzles (especially the antique wooden ones from ~ 1920s and 1930s that would have belonged to my MiL.

That was close! I was about to weigh out my evening-snack popping corn ... when I suddenly thought "did I log my supper-dessert or not??" So I checked. I hadn't. I added it and removed the intended popping corn .... All Still Good and not into the exercise calories even so (it only by a smaller margin) π
I like having the extra emojis .... I just wish they came with an "index" or I guess one simply gets used to knowing where one's faves are in the glut (I suppose it is like "having too much of a good thing" π

Pass Day 2 used today. Got into the Halloween candy, way too much of it, don't want to try tracking it.
I agree with others who are frustrated with the change they've made here on mfp. I thought it was just fine the way it was! When I tried reinstalling the app I still got a white screen when I tried to get to Community. Hopefully they'll get that bug worked out soon.
Pouring rain all day today, exercise was 30 minutes of weight machines at Planet Fitness.
Back on track with my eating and tracking tomorrow!

Hunger is now, suddenly, not an issue. I think itβs the cooler weather. I always seem to have the easiest time in the Fall. Usually Oct. I was stressed not knowing why it wasnβt happening this time. Oct was hot. So was some of these days in Nov. perhaps that is whyβ¦

I suppose that was a little hyperbolic. My knees, elbows, hands and wrists all hurt. I've slipped a bit from my anti-inflammatory diet in recent months and probably need to return to it.

*Weights, cleaning and chasing after bub.
* Hubby about to start a new job on wed so went out again to celebrate a again tonight. Will probably hve a few more outings before he starts so used my workout calories.
*Tracked every BLT.
Great to know I'm not the only 1 hving issues logging into the community part through the app. Fingers crossed they get it sorted.
@MadisonMolly2017 awesome topic I am only learning through this group what I trully like other than eating.....Massages, taking bub on walks and playdates while drinking a coffee, watching tv series or a good movie, chatting on UAC, shopping for fashion and clothes, cooking yummy food, listening to podcasts or YouTube vids.... Hoping to find a few more things that bring me joy but dnt cost too much money. Xo

Exercise - Stretching, 20 minutes biking, 40 minutes walking
Tracking - Planned the day, had to adjust the plan because dinner plans changed. We were going to pick up sushi and I was going to count that as my once a week takeout day, but then we ran out of time to pick up and instead got Chinese food delivery. I don't especially like Chinese Food and I have not found anything to order that fits within my calories at all. So I skipped it and had some leftovers and freezer food instead.

I have to admit that discussions of what to do for fun make me cranky. I have 2 young kids, inadequate childcare, and a full time job. I do basic self-care (basically the 3 UAC principles plus try to get enough sleep, plus try to shower a couple of times a week). When I can do that, I feel pretty great. Time for my own fun? Ha! (Bitter laughter).
I do look forward to one day being in a stage of life where I can fit in some fun. And I feel thankful that I can at least fit in minimal self-care, which I could not for years.
