I had a different post planned for today but this one seemed more appropriate for ‘me’.
And maybe it will resonate with someone else too?
Catching up on recent posts, I am reflecting on that I don’t belong in either the Winner’s Circle or with the Champions for November. So what am I? I could think of myself as a total loss or I could think of myself right now as being pulled along by the UAC group. We all struggle at some point and the fact that any of us can use UAC as a ‘security blanket’ to get by during these down periods is a real gift. Reading the posts from the past week while I have been out of commission (and in a bit of a mental slump) has helped so much to inspire me to push my own reset button.
There is so much great wisdom in this group!

This is such a beautiful intro. Thank u @znaoiec for being so open and honest about ur struggles this month and so pleased UAC has given u the motivation u hve needed to keep on keeping! *Weights and chasing bub around at a awesome indoor play area.
* Under and finding it less of a struggle to stay under calories by just eating wen I'm hungry instead of eating wat I hve pretracked... It was messing with my head a bit. He he.
* Yes tracked ever BLT and it's making me feel super proud and in control
* no grazing
* Maintaining weight

@znaoiec I hope that you are feeling better soon and we are HAPPY to pull you along with us. Please be present. I get so weary of the repeat sporadic "jump in ask for help leave" folks. I know they are struggling but they do sap my energy over and over again until when they show up again I just sort of ignore it. Wish I had the right words to help but sometimes we ...just.... can't.... It DOES have to start with the individual being here and sticking it out.8 -

Exercise - yes half an hour of Pilates and a half an hour dog walk
Tracking - lost track a bit, I had to attend a parent event at my kids school at dinner time and there were canapés. Just had a few but not sure how to track them (or even what exactly they were!).
calories - probably a little over but not much
@znaoiec I’ve come and gone a little over time on this group but I love the support and wisdom I find every time I come back. It’s also helping me understand my eating patterns better because I reflect every evening on what caused my day to go well or not and this also helps me make a clearer link between eating rubbish and feeling rubbish! Mental slumps can be hard to climb out of, but you’re on the right track if you are reading posts again. Hurrah for UAC, we can all pull each other along.

Going to rheumatologist tomorrow. I am a little nervous as to what might happen. Next week I go to the oncology surgeon and hopefully will get a green light to have my surgery soon. Waiting is getting to me. I find I am eating my stress by 9 pm. I have been trying to plan for those eats but I am so tired of it. Listening to Phit and Phat guru Corrinne and finding some relief. Being strong sucks sometimes because I don't have anyone to talk to about this as I am the pillar of strength for everyone else. You and my prayer journal are the only who hear of my struggles. So between UAC,100+, and a few other groups is there the whole story of my life. No one group could handle it all😆

I am so happy to be back in the group. Observation changes the outcome. By joining in here and trying to be accountable it is actually helping me hit my targets. Yesterday it got me out for a 40 minute walk and today it has helped me keep my calories in check :-) Thanks for keeping this going.

Wow new format hope I can manage this one I am so tech savvy 😂😂
Tracked logged stayed under walked at lunch a chill in the air but overall a nice walk 2.8 mph 2.3 miles in 48 minutes. Spinning after dinner 5 miles in under 20 minutes. I think that’s it.

Hello everyone. Reading the posts, it looks like a good place to be. I've had a very good day, my young grandchildren are step one in being a bit safer in the world, what more can an Abuela ask? No big challenges or changes in my life.
Worked out 30 min. of kickboxing, and had a little time so I walked on the treadmill, 20 min. at 3.5.
Just finished tracking all my food/drink intake.
Stayed within the budget.

It has been a decent enough day though I did start it with a COVID test. I am vaccinated but at the advice of my sons I went ahead and got a test today. I should find out results sometime tomorrow.
Thanks for everyone’s response. The reset button is pushed but it is still a problematic time of year for me. Checking in and reading up on posts continue to be one of my best tools for staying focused during times like these.
