(((Hugs))) @tahm42 , good luck with your apt. tomorrow.
@znaoiec I used to think I was the only one that wasn't able to do this. I still struggle. One thing I've learned by engaging more with this group is that almost all of us have similar stories - some before they joined MFP. It helped for me to realize this for two reasons: (1) I'm not the "big" or "only" failure on this weight loss journey & (2) there is hope; these same people who struggled are now successfully maintaining. So hang in there hun. I figure if they can do it, then eventually I'll get there too. Starting in October, I'm finally committed to showing up daily in the UAC whether it's a good period or not. Anyway, rest in the comfort of this group while you're working through what you need to. (((Hugs)))
Nov 10: Yes to exercise, no to logging & no to staying within calorie budget. This is my 4th pass day.

I am a very status quo kind of person, I don't like change! It will take some getting used to this new format. Right now I can only get on to the Community section via our PC. When I try on my phone there is nothing but an entirely white screen. I guess what I'll need to do is uninstall the app and then reinstall it.
Yesterday was 3 yesses. Exercise was a 3.1 mile run. Pass Days Used so far: 1

But at least you are here! As mentioned in today's opening ... just being around and with positive people will help carry you along in the current towards a more positive place of your own.
I think this might be a good place to mention Sea Otters again. The collective term for a group or gathering of sea otters is "a raft." They hold hands while they sleep out there on the ocean, so that they don't drift away while sleeping. They have apparently also been known to wrap seaweed around their middles to help "rope themselves together".
Everyone - keep on being part of our Sea Otter raft. All and each of us has probably been the one "needing the support" from time to time, as well as a source of support to others.

My report:
Exercise: 🏅 a walk outside in the sun at noon, walking-game on the wii after work, walk to the grocery store and back (in the dark) before a very late supper 13.386 steps in all (MFP said "fitbit told it I had earned over 166 exercise credits" despite calorie-heavy dinner)
Logging: 🏅 made a point of over-estimating the amount of rotisserie chicken that might have been on my plate what with such a late supper ... so everything accounted for (including skin I didn't actually eat)
Within Goal: 🏅 needed to go into the exercise calorie bank, but even that against the over-estimation left a nice level of unused exercise credits.
Passes used so far: 1 /3 (bad planning)
"What gets measured gets changed" (because you are paying attention to it) The only reason I am on such a pleasant downward trend in my daily weigh-ins is because I am back here - "having to" report in so that I make Champion this month.
I declared (to the group AND to myself) NO JUDGEMENT on what got logged, no matter how potentially ugly .. for the first little while exercise + logging (and reporting) were the most important checkmarks to try to hit. the content of the log was to be considered "data gathering for later analysis" only.
But just the act of resuming logging re-activated the "healthy eating / no mindless unacknowledged snackidents" subroutine in my brain and I am doing far better , sooner, than I expected. Still "second honeymoon" time to my way of thinking .... but data analysis - when I get to a steady equiilibrium point - looks like it will be more about "judging by past average, the target input for the day would be fine [x amount] lower and less about "need to lower - what can be cut or switched to make doing so easier to succeed at?" At least for the FIRST "move the goal post" exercise. For the time being, I will just leave target food settings as they are.

Just a note to say yesterday ended up being a pass day as I was over. Oops - broke my perfect streak but part of being in maintenance is ACCEPTING there is no perfect....

Hmmm.... new format... Not sure how I feel about it yet. Guess it doesn't really matter. Just learn it and deal. :)

I'm catching up here, couldn't get into MFP on my phone yesterday (Wednesday) evening, and today I’m getting the white screen on my phone, so now I’m home and catching up on my laptop.
Wednesday was OK on all three criteria: MY DIL lives in a very hilly district. The village she lives in is very hilly, their house has steps up to the road behind, and steps down to the path by the front gate so you can’t go anywhere without going up and down stairs. The lanes are very narrow and her (small) parking space is currently occupied by scaffolding so my car was parked about 400m from the house. The nearby town is also built on a hill so, a quick trip to the shops involved a lot of walking and stairs and steep hills! Quite a workout in itself.
No pass days yet 🤞

ps - I don't like this new format.

Late posting
Exercise - MommaStrong video, 1 hour walking on a farm field for work
Tracking - Planned and followed the plan
Calories - Under
I do feel like this group is carrying me along often. Everytime I think I should just skip tracking or just let myself go over calories, I think about all of you in this with me working on this project, and I think that I can do it too. And often, I do.
0 Pass days yet this month!

@znaoiec Thank you for your thoughts today. I am still new to the group and my motivation level is still high. Hopefully when that starts to fade I will be connected enough here to get pulled along again.
