Happy weekend folks!
@k80flec - gosh that looks bad. Of course, you cried. I hope the swelling has gone down. Take care and feel better soon.
@darkrider42 - I can't believe you found a used car! Glad that worked out well.
@cpanus - goal met and goal increased! Way to go.

@dave Glad the missus wasn't seriously hurt, hope she heals soon too
3 miles, those are bits and pieces of trying the treadmill and walking the track. Did the dry needling Tuesday, it definitely helped, I have two more scheduled. I'm getting more time pain free but then it does amp up.

Went away for a few days to see my 99 year old MIL and came back to the Fitness Pal mess, a car accident, surgery and a soft tissue injury!
@Dave: Glad your wife is okay and you found a car.
@k80flec: Wow! Your running is getting hazardous.Hope you feel better soon.
@tahm42: Will definitely keep you in prayer. I had some benign tumors removed. One the size of a grapefruit, but I never considered naming them. Hey, however it makes you feel ….go for it.
And is everyone revamping systems? I just went through 7 months of recording volunteer and continuing ed. hours while Penn State revamped their Master Gardener recording system.

SWEET! That's GOAL for @SUSSEXBYTHESEA and @CLEPANT! Glad you were able to finally find us, @SUSSEX!
ALSO, a HUGE CONGRATS to @CPANUS (Chris) because it looks like her last workout put her over the 20,000 LIFETIME MYAC MILESTONE mark!!! :drinker:
Thanks to everyone for the thoughtful comments about my wife's accident. She's still dealing with some whiplash and a really painful neck, but is otherwise okay. She does love her new-to-her car (and so do I) and that helps a lot too.
@K80FLEC - I hope your ankle is feeling better than a couple of days ago. :flowerforyou:
@TAHM42 - I am also sending lots of healing thoughts and good juju! I totally think you should name it! My suggestion is to name it after our favorite number....simply call it "42" or "Number 42". Or you could go with something like "Kevin" or "Steve" (names of our neighbor's dog and cat) provided that name doesn't belong to a family member or close friend. Or name it after someone you're not particularly fond of and maybe it can be a therapeutic step to rid that person and/or their drama from your life, metaphorically-speaking anyway. :flowerforyou: (PS - I liked that your mileage reading this time was 42.2 as well!!)
@KAR328 - Really happy to hear that the dry needling has helped!
@JANET - I understand and relate to your apprehension about your long workout, but you've got this!

If naming it helps … then name it! I think it’s a brilliant idea. I totally support @Daves suggestions. They match my way of thinking.
Sending you lots of healing thoughts and Big (gentle and virtual) Hugs to you for your surgery and recovery.
ETA: I’m glad your wife has something to cheer her up @darkrider42 because whiplash can be very uncomfortable.
Update on my ankle: I got a phone call 2.5 days after my x-ray and I have a hairline fracture on my ankle. It’s pretty close to the location of the Avulsion fracture I got in February. I think I need bubble-wrap! Swelling is much reduced, as is the pain and I have a very glamorous boot to wear for at least another week!
Hope everyone is well as November comes to a close.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on the other side of the pond

CONGRATS on making GOAL to @LEANZ!!
Also, Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the United States! I had a very nice breakfast with my wife and sons, and then nice dinner with wife, daughter, and son-in-law. Very low-key and practically stress-free!
