Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. My steps were horrible last week, only made my goal 1 day. I am on vacation this week so hoping to get a little more exercise in. I didnt overeat on the holiday or go crazy with dessert. Today zumba was canceled so I am going to go hop on the treadmill and then finish cleaning up but then I am taking the day for me to chill on the couch and just watch tv, probably start to organize myself for the upcoming year.1

Looks like several lazy days when I mostly sat working on cross stitch or just reading. We all need lazy days now and then. Today is supposed to be warm again - 70s so I plan to take a longer walk.3 -

Good Morning! I’ve just joined the group for the January Challenge 🙂. I’m excited for this commitment and having a community to lean on but also to give support as well. I just turned 41 this month. A little about me- I’ve been married to my hubby Tim for 15 yrs. We have a son, Gavin 13, and a daughter, Brinley 12. We love animals and have a dog, cat, turtle, and 2 birds😊 We live in western NY. I’m a medical secretary.
As for my health journey- i am striving to finally hit my goal weight of 115 lbs. i’m currently 133 lbs. I’m a shorty at 5’3 with a smaller frame. Through the yrs my weight has been all over the place. Before kids I got as high as 160, but lost 30 lbs before getting pregnant. After my son was born I got down to 119. I felt amazing! Then I got pregnant again very quickly when he was only 3 months old. Since having my 2 kids my weight has ranged from 120 to 140.
Currently I am doing Beachbody workouts and I will incorporate calorie counting with an emphasis on upping my protein. I also enjoy walking outside when the weather allows.
I look forward to getting to know everyone and to work diligently on my goals!! Good luck everyone!4 -

Oh my goodness! Welcome to our newest members! I'm so excited to see all of you, and a huge welcome back to @GingerPwr !!! It's been far too long, and you have no idea how happy we are to have you back!
As for where I've been, in case you've missed my lovely posts, I promise I will return from my voyage into the world of cheese (AKA Wisconsin) tomorrow, and will likely get around to making the step challenge post on Thursday unless I somehow convince Melanie to take care of it for me again. Expect a tad more normalcy from me as of next week.3 -

I did get a walk in yesterday though only 20 minutes. Today I managed to get 30 minutes. Its a cloudy day threatening rain so not too pretty out thhere. At least its not cold! Have been working a new cross stitch kit - a cat with a vase of flowers - a Christmas gift that is giving me a break from the large scene I'm working. And I started a 1000 piece puzzle too. Its good to have different projects to Switch between!2
