Our small team increased the number of steps this week...Talk about stepping up! @ljdanny and @pacsnc6 both demonstrate remarkable consistency this month--the difference between to two weeks so far for both was only ~400 steps. Nice job ladies!4 -

Had a funeral this week. Steps were nowhere in the range I wanted them. I'm not going to worry about that. Death has a way of making us stop for a second, regroup, and slow down. It was bitter sweet. My grandmother had been battling Alzheimer's and Dementia for some time. She was 91 and no longer knew who she was. No more battle. Her funeral really was a celebration of her life.

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. My steps were horrible last week, only made my goal 1 day. I am on vacation this week so hoping to get a little more exercise in. I didnt overeat on the holiday or go crazy with dessert. Today zumba was canceled so I am going to go hop on the treadmill and then finish cleaning up but then I am taking the day for me to chill on the couch and just watch tv, probably start to organize myself for the upcoming year.1

Good Morning! I’ve just joined the group for the January Challenge 🙂. I’m excited for this commitment and having a community to lean on but also to give support as well. I just turned 41 this month. A little about me- I’ve been married to my hubby Tim for 15 yrs. We have a son, Gavin 13, and a daughter, Brinley 12. We love animals and have a dog, cat, turtle, and 2 birds😊 We live in western NY. I’m a medical secretary.
As for my health journey- i am striving to finally hit my goal weight of 115 lbs. i’m currently 133 lbs. I’m a shorty at 5’3 with a smaller frame. Through the yrs my weight has been all over the place. Before kids I got as high as 160, but lost 30 lbs before getting pregnant. After my son was born I got down to 119. I felt amazing! Then I got pregnant again very quickly when he was only 3 months old. Since having my 2 kids my weight has ranged from 120 to 140.
Currently I am doing Beachbody workouts and I will incorporate calorie counting with an emphasis on upping my protein. I also enjoy walking outside when the weather allows.
I look forward to getting to know everyone and to work diligently on my goals!! Good luck everyone!4
