Okay my pity party is over ... I am happy to report I am not in any pain at the moment ... I am still not comfortable walking with my daughter and husky ... So I have decided to walk inside with Leslie Sansone and take it slow ... I will also be meal prepping today ...I am also happy to report that I lost 4.1 lbs this morning LTD 11.7 lbs ...Happy FriYAY everyone ..I hope everybody has a great weekend :)

That's great news you are doing better. Leslie is annoying but the vids are solid. I used one this last week.

I too am having scale issues of my own making. Went crazy and bought goodies I know I can’t keep around so those have been snacks I can do without. I’m retaining water, having crazy hormones and feeling a bit of stress from my parents so hopefully this weekend or the start of next week I can get a handle on things and get back to my healthy habits. Just ugh! At least I keep up exercising when I go off the rails food-wise so there is one silver lining. The final 5 pounds (now 9) is killer for me to shed. No more whining! Have a good weekend!

    I so feel you!
    Hang in there!
The last bit to lose is always so hateful.

well guess what is acting up again? :unamused:

Trying to trust the process. Measurements Monday. Just focusing on keeping cals reasonable this weekend. Especially for the Super Bowl eats on Sunday. I have keto-fare on hand. I just must not eat too much of it.

Did 30 minutes on the exercise bike, same as last time, started out slow then increased to moderate intensity. This time I had a glass of milk afterwards and I feel so much better than I did before after exercising. This is definitely what my body needs.

I think I do feel a little increase in mucous but not much and I’m sitting here thinking well actually I’d rather be a little sniffly and feel good (like I did before I started experimenting with dairy) than free of sniffles but having absolutely no energy and feeling lightheaded or dizzy after exercise. I guess it comes down to what I’m prepared to put up with. Which is actually what my boyfriend said to me about three months ago when I first tried giving up dairy. Oh well, it was worth trying and now I know.

I’m going to try goats milk and see if that makes any difference. But I’m done with trying to give up dairy, I’m happy to at least be able to exercise and live my life again.

@melmerrit33 If the cow dairy makes you mucous-ey (hah, is that even a word) maybe try switching to sheep (Romano) or goats milk cheese. I never drink actual milk because of that reason, but do eat yogourt and cheeses and they don't seem to bother me as much. We have similar autoimmune issues so it might work for you too.

Anyhew... my last post was Jan 30, and I was at 150.
    Today I'm at 148.
NOT doing my best at keeping junk carbs (tortilla chips) out of my diet, but at least still IF'ing which helps. Also having trouble drinking enough water during the workday as I am working in security and need to keep my mask on and pay attention; even tho my water bottle is right beside me, I need to time things so that I have a clear calm moment to take a good swig.
A trip is planned for Mid March to Hawaii, soooooo, if I want to fit my fun summery clothes and look non-scary in my bathing suit I need to double down.

Very pleased with a tiny loss rather than a gain as normally happens when I lose a lot. Onward & downward!

January was not a good month for me. And now we are almost 1/2 way through February and it continues. I need to make a change and get back on the bandwagon. For me, it seems to be the same thing every year....it starts with Christmas.....and snowballs from there. I am up 8 lbs since Christmas Day. I need to start tracking again, stop the grazing. Limit the wine. :# I know what I need to do....just need to do it!
Exercise for me isn't really the issue, I am still doing my strength workouts and running. So I do have that going for me. lol.
I would like to make time each day to come here and read and post, I'm gonna try!

Thanks @canadjineh I’ve now got some goats milk, butter and cheese in the fridge to try, fingers crossed that will work out better for me. Just need to decide what to try first! Probably the milk as that will go off sooner. Good luck with getting back on track, that trip might be a good incentive!

Did a half hour walk today, ended up doing a slightly different route than planned (which included a choice of one of two hills, I decided I was too achy to try them) but still happy that I managed to do the walk again without a walking stick.

My hips are bothering me today after spin class and bowling yesterday. Will do a Leslie Sansone vid at lunch and strength before dinner tonight. @baconslave I agree she's annoying but it's worth it.

I'll do a status check on my goals tomorrow, maybe measurements as well. Made a bunch of keto snacks for the Super Bowl but definitely overate and feel it today.

So proud of everyone on their goal progress this month!

Yeah...let's just say I ate plenty :joy:
But I've done worse on every Super Bowl before this for the past few years so I'll take me not eating until I can't move at least as a win.

Great job, everyone, on working on your goals.
My scale rewarded me with a new Life-With-Covid low. However I know it won't stay. Because that's just too much to ask. :unamused: I was supposed to do measurements today but I don't wanna so I'll do that tomorrow. Been too busy too.

Off I go to do more busy and then workout. Keep up the fantastic progress, guys!

    For 2/14/22
    SW 170
    CW 169.5
    GW 167

    Daily plank challenge ✔
    80 oz water daily ✔
    Under 60 carbs daily✔
    Movement ✔ walking video
Meal prep-❌ still have keto cheesy sausage balls enough for lunch the whole week.

Didn't do my strength last night, was too comfy under a blanket with my cat on my lap LOL.
Have plans with a friend for a virtual workout tonight before dinner. Planks are still happening but I def am having trouble getting up to 90 sec. Can't make 10-30 sec jump increases so I'm trying 5 sec increments this week.

    Good morning all,
I did have a pretty good day yesterday, but didn't get all my water in. Did a workout called Total Body Chisel and tracked my food intake. Carbs and Cals were both under. woohoo
Today I will be picking up my sons bernedoodle for a few hours so will get out for a walk in the snow with her. We had a nice snowfall yesterday so it should be a beautiful day for it today. Sunny and white!

I made some keto lemon squares yesterday that turned out really good. Will definitely make them again. Hope you all have a good day. Going to work on my water today.
