Off to Charleston, SC for a week! But I'll be checking in most every day to update still!

Oops, didn't think I was delinquent a full week in posting. 11.5 miles added in various ways.
Adding to the sore parts we all have, besides my usual aches and pains, my right middle trigger finger is back and worse. Had a steroid shot in Sept, it wore off by December, it wasn't bad, but the last few weeks it's quicker to lock and sore/painful. Saw the ortho guy on Monday, and waiting for the OR scheduler to call me. I asked the doctor about exercise restrictions, he said "no heavy weights for two weeks" I said "define heavy." He said "ten pounds." I laughed. I use heavier in my classes. I'm thinking it won't be two weeks.

Just a quick note about my walk OUTDOORS yesterday. It was a GLORIOUS 57°F!!! And it’s supposed to hit 65°F and sunny THE NEXT THREE DAYS!!!
And what a super-luxe hotel we’re staying at! I’ve never been to a place this fancy in my life! Valet, doorman, bellhop, concierge…..they won’t even let us fill our own ice bucket, for crying out loud!! Glad my wife’s work is paying for it plus all the fancy meals & happy hours, WOW! I needed to go for that long walk yesterday just to come anywhere close to breaking even on calories.
I’ll be back after breakfast to do the full spreadsheet update. Thanks for taking care of it yesterday, Janet! I appreciate you! And no problem, I’ve got you covered in March while you’re gone.
Dave
Sorry for the huge picture unload…hope it keeps them somewhat in order.

Decided to get my treadmill workout done before updating the spreadsheet. I was shooting for 3.0 miles, but the treadmill cut me off at an hour. Lol I was close at least (2.84 mi).
My wife is done with meetings for today at lunchtime so we’re going to head out somewhere together this amazingly gorgeous afternoon!
Hope everyone is having a fabulous day!!

@kar: If the hand specialist had needed to do surgery on my thumb, he said I could not lift anything heavier than my cell phone without the case cover, for three weeks. Fortunately the second shot worked.

Wow, I won't whine about ten pounds I'm guessing it's because the thumb is more involved. Just scooped my litter boxes and realized this is going to be interesting, that litter is heavy. I'll start practicing with my left hand.
