Personally I lost less than I had hoped but it seems that a LOT of us had the same problem last week for one reason or another! It's nice to know that we're not alone and that we'll all get there in the end ^_^
YES! It is particularly important on weeks when the scale does give us the news we want to remember that bio-chemistry is NOT algebra. There are random variables, and cycles of metabolism, and mitigating factors in any weight loss equation that do not appear in quadratic equations.
So the days when the numbers don't add up in our favor, we must not get discouraged or think about quitting.
Pidge is absolutely correct. We can all get there in the end. Patience. Diligence. Consistency. And we WILL all get there in time.0 -

Much better 5 lbs down, than 5 lbs up! Think of it this way; lose 5 lbs per month on average, you have lost 60 lbs in the year. Would you rather be 60 lbs down or exactly where you are next Octber 1?

I knew my targets were ambitious when I set them. I was on a rush from the Labour Day Excursion.

My scale is dead! Totally dead it just says LO - low battery since that's not a weight and I only weigh in on my scale I must wait till I can get a battery - tonight! I feel good though I worked hard the last few days and I know I am back on track so although I think I gained a few lbs back during my adventures in give up land I know that October will be awesome!
I drank one full water bottle -4 cups every day this week!
You guys and gals are such an inspiration and I know October is going to be amazing for us all! Way to go my friends!0
